Just read the link, very informative on how it all started. Here is the start of it.

A brief history of meter companies and meter evolution
This section contains a brief history of most of the companies that have manufactured watthour meters in the US as well as pointing out highlights of meter development from the first crude attempts at metering to today's highly accurate electronic models. A few related events that had some impact on the companies and on meter development are also included for additional perspective.
Up to the 1870s, electricity had little use beyond the telephone and telegraph. The earliest use of electricity for power was to operate strings of arc lamps connected in series. Since the current was constant and the voltage required for each lamp was known, and all of the lamps were controlled by one switch, it was adequate to measure only the time current flowed in the circuit (lamp-hours).
1872: Samuel Gardiner takes out the first known patent on an electric meter. This was a DC lamp-hour meter that was a clock with an electromagnet that started and stopped the mechanism.
1878: J.B. Fuller takes out a patent on an AC lamp-hour meter that was a clock operated by an armature that vibrated between two coils.
After the invention of the incandescent lamp by Edison in 1879 and the subdivision of lighting circuits for individual control of the lamps, it was no longer practical to measure lamp-hours, but this practice continued (with arc-lamp street lighting circuits) into the 1890s.
1881: The Fort Wayne Electric Light Co. was incorporated to sell a dynamo and arc lamps patented by James Jenney. Ronald T. McDonald was the founder and president of this company. ...

CNES did not make any history today, but another company did.
AirPoint FOCUS Module Approved for Use in New York
PEQUOT LAKES, MN – Oct 28, 2005 – Hunt Technologies, Inc., a global provider of automatic meter reading (AMR) solutions for electric, water and gas utilities, announced the AirPoint FOCUS RF AMR meter module has been approved by the State of New York Department of Public Service as a device to emit meter data.

Hunt Technologies and Landis+Gyr began development of the AirPoint FOCUS in June, and began taking orders for the product in October. This new product integrates the ERT-compatible RF Technology manufactured by Hunt Technologies with the Landis+Gyr solid state FOCUS® meter. The AirPoint™ module obtains a direct register read from the meter, and then transmits usage and demand data to a drive-by or walk-by transceiver.

“We are pleased to be able to offer this product to utilities in New York state,” said Corey McGuire, AirPoint product manager.“It represents another choice of meter platform and AMR vendor for those utilities who have deployed or are deploying an Itron Mobile Collection System.”

Hunt’s AirPoint technology provides the same features and functions as the Itron ERT and is designed to interface with the Itron Mobile Collection System 1.0 and 2.0, as well as off-site collection systems. This integrated solution provides utilities with accuracy and performance superior to an electromechanical meter.

The products on the market now are actually older technologies...like the single edge razor! Ha!

Now there's triple, quadruple and quintiple vibrating blades. Have you tried them? They're awsome!!! It makes using a single edge like using a sea shell.

"CNES doesn't make electricity, it makes electricity better." Ooops, can't use that slogan - BASF already coined it.

What about "AFL-A-A-C!" Didn't think so.

"CNES connects the present with the future?" Hey, that doesn't sound bad.

gvmoore, I hope you are not...
FYI, I did sell and buy back over the past year so I have had some excietment and good news aside from the steady downside over the past 1/2 yr. This should bouce again and I don't think the CEO etc. is done... I expect movement in the next few months and then within the next 3-9 months more news. It will be a rough ride at times.. All imo. a better guess yet would be if it is gonna be good news or bad news.
and in opinions who thinks this will end up being like most other penny stocks that just keep diluting and dragging on and on doing nothing for months.

i say good news may not make it move to much and i beleive this stock could possible be good enough soon to hit .01 or maybe a little more

Wednesday the 9th is my guess.

I think we will move up to the next resistence point around .0009 or .001. It will take some follow up news of a contract to move it higher. That could be in days or weeks.

If CNES has put things together as they seem they have we could get another run, but I don't think it will go back to .01 yet until operations are running and meters in the field and H-net producing data.

That 7 billion of shares they're holding could dilute our positions if CD's are neaded to maintain operations $'s roll in.

But here's another scenario. Those shares could also be a 'poison pill' for any hostile take overs of anyone trying to take control of Conectisys. Yes, a defensive move! Smart - if H-net is the best AMR product to date.

Depending on the future success of H-net Conectisys could also retire those shares and or buy back existing shares.

This is what penny stocks are all about. It's a "Crap shoot" that could pay off big, or (pardon the 'Pun') go right down the t**let.

We may reach .005 with enough momentum but .0025 won't be too bad either. Don't put all your eggs in one basket and take some off the table on the way up. CNES is not a pump and dump, but it's not a sure thing yet either.

If we break .01 there will be some early retirees out there in the market for new toys.

I would not be surprised if this stock passes $0.01

I just wish that they get a nice contract, I don't care if its in Bangladesh, or if its in USA.... A contract is a contract. And from what I understand... CNES has a superior product. Just ONE FCC approval and ONE contract will make me a very happy young man.

Why does't CNES step up and play ball?
They did not exhibit here, while all the other
heavy hitters were getting exposure.
