Also sent this fax to Frank -- he doesn't use email so I sent the fax instead.
Memorandum To: Frank Olsen, CEO CC: N/A From: Shannon Holsinger/Shareholder Date: 9/14/2005 Re: Recent Email Letter Dear Mr. Olsen: As a shareholder, I appreciate your vision and am enthused about the future of Q. However, a recent email has been circulating that contains some potentially inflammatory information. This email was supposedly sent by you, and has been confirmed by Richard at Equity Relations as being authentic but flawed in fact. The email contained several material deficiencies and errors of fact, and represented a number of figures that conflict significantly with previously released information Q has stated in their press releases. Richard indicated that this was a draft letter, and we the shareholders should expect clarification soon. As a shareholder, I am imploring you to please release a public clarification as soon as possible. The facts set forth in the original letter were potentially damaging to a degree that, now that confirmation of the source has been made by Richard, I fear that shareholder confidence is being eroded rapidly. Of course, confidence can be reinstated with an official clarification stating the true and revised material facts on an item by item basis, but until that clarification is made, we shall have no contradictory source to the original claims. I very much appreciate your time, and assure you I would not be bothering you if I did not consider this a matter of great import. I will happily make myself available to answer any questions you may have related to this issue. I may be reached by telephone at ........ Please be sure to indicate in your correspondence if I may share any of the information you provide with others, as I do not quote form my personal correspondence without prior authorization. Thank you very much for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to its swift resolution and to the continued success and growth of Q.

Now THAT is funny -- "Make your investment and then totally forget about it. Don't continue to do DD, verify facts, or pay any attention at all to what the company says. After all, you made your decision, right?"
Hmmm, did you actually read what you wrote? The CEO of a company you own stock in releases an email with totally whacky figures in it and you don't even think that is worth confirming? WOW! If you represent a grown-up attitude, I am glad I am not a grown-up.
Facts are important, my friend. They impact the way most investors make decisions. That is why when we get wildy different facts from those we assume to be true, we need to confirm them.
I usually don't attack anyone, but posts like that essentially telling people to ignore facts about the companies they have invested in is irresponsible at best.
These facts may not be true - we all hope they are not, but it is important to verify them one way or the other in order to make the best decision about your investment.

If you are a day-trader then maybe these moment to moment items ruffle your feathers.. if you are in this stock for the long term, then yes, you ignore most of this crap and wait.. you have only 2 options.. hold, or sell.. once you have determined your position.. you stick to it.. you don't let this day-to-day emotional roller coaster that you guys-gals ride influence that decision. Unless or until you have FACTS that bring new information to light.. you shut up and wait.. (meaning the everyday moaning and graining-drama-related-soap-opera crap that tends to fill this board on a dialy basis).. I have been a QBID holder for 6-8 months.. and this board is the epitimy of a soap opera whereas you can change the dates here from now to last May and essentially have the same conversations taking place..

If we don't want to re-post it until we verify it's legitimacy, why is it dominating the conversation? Can you provide a link to that post?

If you are in long and want to sit back and just wait why are you so interseted in that email, and why are you asking someone to do something you can do yourself???

Because I don't want to review several pages of posts looking for a needle in a haystack when someone can tell me the information now. Thats why.
And I am interested because:
1) It seems to be dominating todays conversation
2) I said UNLESS OR UNTILL you have new information regarding your investment, you stick to with your choice... SO,, maybe this is NEW information???????

I did say.. shut up and wait.. I guess you deicided to omit what followed that statement.. which referred to soap-opera commentary.. like this for example.. we can continue to pitter patter all day.. when 30 minutes ago someone could have been nice and posted the information I requested and avoided all this "we're bored and need something to do" dialogue..

1) Juice edited the contents of the email before it was posted, or

There's another possibility: 3) If the equityrelations server is set up as a smtp relay, then someone could have faked an email that way without actually compromising it.
The IP in the headers would still indicate who that person could be. Does anyone know what the IP was? I can run a city/state/zip code check on it to verify if it's from the right location. It's not always 100%, but it's usually pretty good.

Just me, but I think they would be jumping on this a little faster if it was true and was a mess up.
I agree, but it's still early in PS, I would think that we get something today

Since that letter was distribued via email, where did they get the email address of the people that received it? I am a shareholder, I didn't receive it. Seems unusual for email to be the primary medium of communication from a CEO to the shareholders.

I wondered the same thing...The only thing I could come up with was - if the mistake was accidentally sent out and caught in time and stopped. This assumes of course that a mass email is sent out in chunks instead of all at once and the ridiculously huge odds of only (that we know of) IHUB members receiving that email happened. ???

This actually has happened before with QBID. When the announcement was made about the Cox deal, Cox didn't want QBID to release it in an official PR, so investors received an email and it was posted in the investor relations section of QTV's website.

As for your scenario, you are way out in left field and have no clue. You read to many comics about aliens.
Being as important as you claim to be, you should have a red phone on your desk made of solid oak that is a direct line to Frank for answers.
If you bothered to pick up the phone and make some calls as I did, you would get some answers.
Speaking of getting some answers, I believe Rod is still waiting for an answer and apology for claiming you can post his IP address. You lied! And you’re caught.
