I have a VOIP server at home. I run an "asterisk" server that has allowed me to set my entire home up like the common office. I have extensions for different rooms, an intercom, etc. and asterisk is open-sourced and entirely free. However you do need to pay for a service to make outside calls. VOIP is the greatest thing since sliced bread. It is going to change everything about the way we communicate. Imagine if your home phone had all the features of your cell phone and even some that your cell phone doesn't have. With VOIP your home phone does have all those features plus some. It is MUCH MUCH cheaper (almost free) to call anywhere in the world. It wasn't by mistake that AT&T sold off their standard telephone switching system to focus entirely on VOIP. VOIP is going to be the new standard and the old telephone networks are going to be falling by the wayside. The infrastructure of a standard telephone network is enormous and very very costly to operate and maintain. For VOIP, all you need are a few computers connected to the internet and the income is all profit. It will probably take quite some time before the masses start realizing that they are throwing money away with their old phones. For instance, I pay $20 each month for unlimited world wide calling. Compare that to the $35 I would be paying to the telephone company for local calls only and you start to realize that it is crazy not to use VOIP.
take a look at: www . voip-info . org for more great information about VOIP than you could digest in a month.
I can't really research ICMH's VOIP offerings while their website is down. I'd like to see how reasonably priced their service is. There are so many VOIP providers out there and they are SUPER CHEAP (Broadvoice, Free-World-Dialup, IConnectHere, etc. etc. etc.) If Doug can offer a competitively priced service, this could be WAY bigger than anything related to prepaid debit cards.
Agreed. I've been using VONAGE for the last 8 months now and it's amazing. Just a matter of time before VOIP really catches on to the average consumer and non-technogeek market.
Now the picture has become clearer. We already know how lucrative a business prepaid calling cards can be. Instead of selling/offering the standard prepaid calling cards which you would normally use on a regular telephone line, think about using these new calling cards or prepaid monthly accounts on a VOIP infrastructure which costs many times less to operate and maintain on. As long as there is a high speed internet cable line available, a VOIP system can be implemented.
You now have a prepaid VOIP calling card that will allow you to make more international calls at a lesser price as a consumer and the margins as a VOIP operator are much greater compared to regular telephony. Like jdog mentioned, just look at AT&T . Why are they now competing in a VOIP market amongst big players such as Comcast and smaller carriers scuch as VONAGE and the like? They know where the money's at and don't want to be left behind.

I just called Doug and told him that the PR was missing some information and I asked him to clarify a few things for me!
First, I told him that there were no indications of how this would benefit ICMH financially and otherwise. He told me that he is expecting $6 mill annually from just the traffic revenues. The switch is located in New York City and will be the receiver/transmitter for ALL international VoIP traffic.
I then asked if the prepaid phone cards will be on top of this and he said absolutely. He then said he has other products to announce soon along those lines!
I told him that we really need to see some revenue numbers like what was in the Feb "Status" PR, so I asked when we might see another status PR and he said that he was looking at doing something like that near the end of October when he can report the revenues from the switch.
He also mentioned that the switch goes LIVE next week, and should immediately begin to bring in revenues. I then asked about throughput in hopes he would mention # of minutes per month he thought he would expect and he stated that they already have multiple T1 lines servicing the switch and are already looking at upgrading to a D53 because of the contracts already in place for service, with plans to go to a full 48 later! (I am not a telecom guy, so I don;t understand the full extent of the acronyms that he mentioned, but I thought I would through them out there anyway!)

If any one else wants to contact doug, his number is (775) 324-0775.
BTW, because the service is prepaid, the revenue does in fact begin immediately. NTELX is essentially the service provider who will be leasing the capacity of the switch from ICMH. Doug also mentioned that he will be leasing to other service providers as well, so he can get full use out of the switch since it is capable of handling alot more traffic than NETLX uses! And the $6 million revenue was just from NETLX and not other providers!

FOT: Thanks for the call! That helps me personally, but not the masses that we need here to send the PPS up and away. End of October sounds like a while to wait (however, ti will most likely be worth it!). Slow and steady between now and then!
I almost wish he'd generate a PR with *expected* revenues (at just a bit less than he actually expects), then an actual revenue (end of October)that tops the projections he estimated.
I mean, I'm not marketing guy or anything, but this type of plan is what larger companies do, and it would get some more attention our way.
Just a thought!

well, I got into this thinking it would be a great long term buy and maybe play it a little short...but if there is one thing ICMH has made me learn it is patience...holding strong!

I would first off like to thank everyone for doing such great DD on this stock. I really do not like posting, but I have owned ICMH for sometime now and have read every post made. I truly thought today would be a better day then what has transpired thus far. I think in the long run this will be a great stock, but for now it seems a little strange to me that they have potential of making millions off this new contract and nothing about potential earnings is stated in the PR. I am not some genius but if the CEO really thought this would generate millions in revenue a year don't you think he would have stated this?
We have had 2 pr's and it has not even came close to changing the PPS in a positive direction also with this supposedly good news you would think many new investors would become interested in this stock resulting in a spike in volume.
I hope this time next month this is all an after thought as I am counting how much money I have made. In order for this to succeed we need the CEO to step up and use this good news to our advantage.

I see the same with ICMH with the good news dropping to .0012 then three days later it will start a continuous run up.
Did I say or not that this was going down to .0012. I bought some at 13, I think tomorrow we will see it drop to .001, if we do I'll buy more, want my average set at .0012.
It will start to run by mid-next week.
Buy today below .0013 and tomorrow below .0013 that's your only chance.
.002 next week again.
I was told to get in this morning before the news, glad I waited had a feeling it was going to .0012
