Does not anyone else see the news in this... ICMH is connected up with another VoIP provider that has a network of international switches.
The real news here is that now that ICMH has invested in the company and bought thier own switch, then, ICMH can start offering international VoIP prepaid calling cards to individuals instead of just the huge calling center type clients. Not only will ICMH get income from the huge client type service, but it can also generate a NICE revenue from the individual calling card business which has a much higher profit margin!

FOT: That's great news, but not what we *need*. I mean, sounds like a good thing and all, but nothing in way of revenues, projected earnings, etc, for *our* ICMH.
Don't get me wrong, I think this is a good thing. I just think we need some hardcore projections, based on the alliances recently made in order to really get this moving.
Also, mm's are holding this back. Why?

Ok but is that 1% of 50mil, don't really say much as far as revenues are concerned from this new venture. They really need to clarify this better. Obviously im not the only one pondering this.

The telecommunications industry has experienced a dramatic meltdown over the past few years. Pressures to meet Wall St. expectations drove some businesses to misrepresent their earnings. Bankruptcy swallowed many companies who spent significant dollars on network infrastructure to serve imaginary demand. Trust of the industry as a whole is lacking, and many customers are wondering where to place their faith.
The challenge is that the few companies who remain solvent are raising prices to remain profitable. Bankrupt companies continue to offer services, but are challenged by continual layoffs of staff and the pressure of lenders to generate cash. Other companies simply disappear overnight, leaving their customers with urgent needs to reestablish a connection with another carrier.
Voice and data services are not luxury items. Without proper communications, business doesn't get done. You shouldn't have to feel at risk as you try to conduct your business.
NTELX has followed a different path. The company has grown as a wholesale provider to the telecom industry - buying network capacity at distressed prices and brokering that volume to other carriers that need it. Rather than invest in fiber, NTELX has been building network hubs using modern "soft-switch" technology, allowing customers to access a range of backbone providers. Our investment has been in software and switching technology that allows us to take advantage of the low pricing many backbone providers are offering on a wholesale level. We connect customers through our soft-switch platform, and use our proprietary software routing tool to minimize the cost of each call we carry.

A WHAT?? For 2+ months I have been in this thing, I have complained maybe twice. This after so much anticipation for this PR to drive the pps up. However, it's not really doing a whole lot. I am still in it, b/c I do believe that it does have a lot of potential. I was just hoping for a more solid PR, stating expected earning and so forth.
