This stock had 3800 shareholders in September, 5000 in December and certainly many more today. The boards are filled with commentaries of disgruntled investors who say they are contacting the regulators. The SEC has been aware of improprieties and has been following this company for many months now. The noise level of complaints likely has risen in the past few days. Its only prudent to factor in the possibility of regulatory action, including a 10 day suspension of trading, into one's investment decision here.

When it serves the public interest and will protect investors, the SEC may suspend trading. For instance, the SEC may act when public information about a company is not current, accurate, or adequate. I can't help wonder why lies by companys are tolerated, (which by the way is the same as fraud),and the SEC waits until the damage is done to step in and protect investors. I can't think of any where else this kind of fruad is tolerated. pinks seem to be a safe haven for criminals, where crime does pay

I did my time on the CMKX thread for a year and half arguing with unreasonable people, only to not make a dent in their hard heads. They just took their propaganda elsewhere. In the end, being right was little consolation, because it is over and mostly forgotten, burried, and nowhere to be seen here. It is/was the poster child for dilution, scams, pumpers, bashers, but if I was just coming to Allstocks today I would not know anything about it. I simply ask that this thread serve as an example of open debate and a fair and frank exchange of thoughts and ideas for all to see.

This has been a rollar coaster for a lot of folks. Whenever a stock has the kind of up and down movememnt of PLNI...it's a swing traders dream to follow it's trading behavior and act. I bought back in yesterday after getting out on Wednesday...it had a great retrace after the morning fall...and am looking for an exit now. Folks think I pump PLNI. I have...in saying this is a great "Swing Stock" terrific play. It may have more movememt in the next month...we'll see. I would not hold long on PLNI...especially now that it's clear there has been intentional deception. Why that is...I don't know...but everyone certainly can speculate. In swing trading it doesn't matter...just play the stock.
There is still money to be made on PLNI but only as a "SWING PLAY"...If a stock moves 8-12 clicks per day on average and it develops a predictable behavior then it's a possible swing stock..GZFX has been perfect the last two months and have played that also.
I'll probably back off it after finding an exit next week and re-evaluate how this news has affected PLNI. I expect to be back in shortly after...My assumption is that it will probably fall into a swing pattern again and there will be money to be made...Holding long is very dangerous for most pennies IMO...Some folks play runners, some daytrade...I just find I'm most successful in charting swing stocks...PLNI not excluded. Oh ...and yes I'm disappointed in this development...but the story is still being told...

Microcap companies sometimes assign high values on their financial statements to assets that have nothing to do with their business. Find out whether there's a valid explanation for low revenues, especially when the company claims to have large assets. [PLNI claims their patents alone are worth $20 million]
Odd Items in the Footnotes to the Financial Statements
Many microcap fraud schemes involve unusual transactions among individuals connected to the company. These can be unusual loans or the exchange of questionable assets for company stock that may be discussed in the footnotes. [JT pledged company assets to pay off his personal bankruptcy. He had Plasticon lend money to Telco Blue, a shell company he controls, and then forgave the loans while paying himself a salary from the shell company. He controls other entities that do not trade publicly and has exchanged assets and made deals between the various entities in the past. Since PLNI is not fully reporting, only deals directly involving Telco Blue are required to be publicly reported]
Unusual Auditing Issues
Be wary when a company's auditors have refused to certify the company's financial statements or if they've stated that the company may not have enough money to continue operating. Also question any change of accountants. [Audit? What audit? Changed accountants? - yep]
Insiders Own Large Amounts of the Stock

There is no organized attempt to attack PLNI...as people see the way PLNI and its management is operating, they simply post the information that they research....PLNI is easily doing damage upon itself by making false statements to stockholders and behaving the way it has.

As Jeff Mitchell pointed out, many of the posters that come out of the SI thread had had experience in the past pointed out the frauds of companies and their management that eventually get convicted and sent to jail...the authorities know of this history and therefore are more open to investigating companies that are followed by these posters.

When a company misleads its investors by increasing its shares outstanding from 1.8 billion to 2.3 billion in 3 months and then to 3.7 billion in 1 1/2 months, it is the company that is producing actions that lead to many people selling.

several weeks ago it was pointed out that the transfer agent mentioned that the shares outstanding were 3.7 billion.
your buddy, rrm, stated that it was a false and misleading statement and was fraud.
this was not insider information.
you refused to believe it.
the pinksheets people stated that they were waiting for the fax from PLNI stating the shares outstanding and that they expected after the close of trading on thursday...again..no insider information.
All of this information has been relayed to the SEC when it is received and before it is posted..

When a company misleads its investors by increasing its shares outstanding from 1.8 billion to 2.3 billion in 3 months and then to 3.7 billion in 1 1/2 months, it is the company that is producing actions that lead to many people selling.
