Man! You guys are investing to retire on it? Ha! I'm raising my boy to be a pro basketball player. That's a more sound investment than the stock market.
Still, PLNI should amount to some nice spending money in the meanwhile.

yep, apart from whatever MM stuff goes on, that's a very plausible explanation.
One other item for more knowledgable people than myself to ponder is the shape of the volume. We ended at nearly 54 million shares. 24 million of that was in the first hour. it then moved fairly nicely to 34 million and then stayed near there for hours.

That makes sense to me as well, we had a run momentum started, but once we hit the resistance from all the "been in this too long" sellers, the momentum faded and the buying pressure faded quickly.
Keep the news coming, Matt, and we will all be very happy individuals

PPS is the same now as it was in late May! .02 barrier has never broke, not even intra-day! As soon as it reaches above the .018 mark, look at all the dumping! Like I said so many times before, nothing here is sustainable! I have no reason to up my GTC order. We all know PLNI will come right back down.

More importantly COLD.....it hasnt broken the .012 barrier since May either!!!
Correct me if my math is off a little......0174-.019 is a he77 of alot closer to .02 than it is to .0090 isnt it????
My Bad...only 90+%....where were ya earlier when we needed the cold factor to push us .019!!!!

Ahh, Cold -- I see you found the new thread, my friend... welcome as always!
Quite true about May, but you have your Cold mixed up. See, 20-below standing in the parking lot of a five-star lodge in Aspen is not quite the same as 20-below broken down and adrift 60 miles offshore in the Bering Sea.
Sure, it might FEEL 20-below in each circumstance, and it might BE 20-below in each circumstance, but the future prospects under each scenario are TOTALLY different Colds, Cold.
In May we were hoping for the Coast Guard. Today we are hoping the freaking valet comes to get our H1 before our woman freezes her 8-caret earrings off and bitches about it all night.

I am a little taken back. They are retiring 200,000,000 shares and plan on more. The float is around 600 million. That's 33% of the float taken off the market and we closed at .0174.
I think additional news of significance will be at least a couple weeks down the road. I have to sit for a while and try to understand todays trading. This is not at all what I expected and am not sure at all what to expect over the next few weeks...Baffling!

Think about it Bear -- We had people in this issue since the middle of July just waiting for news that was supposed to come any day. I have been in ICMH for what seems like an eternity waiting for news. I know that when it comes, I am dumping just to get the hell out. I am sure that a lot of people were in a similar situation today with PLNI. They may not believe as strongly as some of us in the future, or even consider it a long-term play. They were just happy to get some money back after a MUCH longer than anticipated holding period. We have rid ouselves of them now, I hope, and I am willing to bet that the next run will be much more significant provided it is not over a month behind the hype.

why of course it is baffeling plni is the most hard to get rid of stocks i have ever owned i have made good money in it sold and wished i would not have repurchase and we have a day like this every thing in the world going for it and it does nothing. the smartest thing they have done is hire bac the only way we are going to make bank on this baby isto get new blood to invest in this and that is exactly what matt is doing. i agree with mr avill that there are so many long term investors out there that are frusturated they sold on the first couple of days of profit if they keep the pr's coming and they have some meat we will get to .03 pps quick if they stop now we sink back to our trading range of .012 to .015 until some thing changes if we could just break .02 and hold it. see you peeps tomorrow glta god bless

Bear... actually, the outstanding share structure was:
The "Tradeable Float" amount does not change, it is the issued and restricted shares that change...
The new calc's are:
2.0 Billion Authorized 1.2 Billion Issued 700 Million Restricted 500 Million Tradeable Float
The real benefit is the profit/earnings are spread across a smaller amount of shares for calculations to determine true value...
Hypothetically, if the earnings are $12,000,000 year, then before the retirement, the eps (earnings per share) were $12,000,000 / 1,400,000,000 = $.0086... Times a 10 multiplier = $.086 pps target
Now, the same $12 Million divided by 1.2 Billion = $.01.. times the 10 multiplier = $.10 pps target.
That is a 16% increase in value of your stock on a pps basis!
I say... keep retiring those shares Mr. Turek.. and while your at it... start buying back some stock at these primo discounted prices!

Be carefull Folks, The share buyback is ongoing right now and will continue for the next few weeks. The company is also wooing fund managers to purchase as well; prior to Huge Material Anouncements. Hence the nice ad in the IBD. The short MM's will start to feel the squeeze, just as Big Apple put the hammer on them in the HISC stock. The float is going to continue to get tighter and the PPS should be as sweet as a ripe Melon by October. ATTA BOY Jim Turek , keep up the Good Work!!!!!

For many, it's worse than that. I and many others, I am sure, came in during, May waiting for an audit within four weeks. Normally I wouldn't hold this long but I see real potential.
I'm green and could have made a decent profit today. I completely understand those who did, good for them.

Amen, State, and that is totally my point. The shareholders that sold today killed this run pure and simple. Matt brought the demand (claearly), and unfortunately, we had the supply to meet it in the 18's. I don't think many people on this thread sold today, but unfortunately we are not the holders of the whole float. I really couldn't blame someone for dumping today if they had been holding a one-week play for months and had the opportunity to make an exit play for a little cash.
If the supply wasn't there we would have hit .02 by lunch no problem.
Just please don't start thinking there is anything hinky with today's action -- it really makes perfect sense when you think about it. Next run should be really different because we won't have so many people who had been holding a lot longer than they had hoped.

I really hope Plasticon doesn't have a PR today saying Semco is completed! It was very hard not to up my order today. I was thinking of raising it a tad to .0093, but decided against it! She'll fill soon. Patience is always a virtue! As for today's action- Bawahahahahahahaha!!

According to Matt [a couple weeks ago], both the Authorized AND Outstanding/Issued was close to 2.0 Billion. More shares were issued to someone since the 1.4 Billion in their last SEC report. He would not/could not elaborate on how that could have happened given the PRs stating non-dilution of SEMCO and ProMold transactions. All he would tell me is that he did not think their statements were misleading, and that they would address the increase in outstanding shares in a future PR.
I was very dissappointed they did not clerify the current share structure after the retirement. For anyone new to the stock, that PR was meaningless. 200 million less that what? Many pinks make an obstacle course of inquiries into capitalization structure, but I was hoping for more from this company. When HISC retired shares, they clearly stated the new capitalization structure in the PR. PLNI should take a page from the HISC playbook and be more transparent and precise.
I am going on the worst case assumption that 2.0 Billion were issued prior to today's announcement, leaving 1.8 issued now. If somehow that number comes in lower I'll be pleasantly surprised.
As always, do your own DD. This is from my recollection of conversations I had with Matt, and IMO. You may want to call him to confirm your assumptions. BTW, he said he has no part in writing the PRs, those come directly from the company.

FOT... I didn't see anything from PLNI laying this out...Is this your conclusion or is this the accurate share count and reflect exacly where the 200 million shares is being deducted? It would be nice to have this confirmed...Thanks buddy...

Stockhunter, I believe that the added shares that blind sided us were authorized for procuring a number of services and promotional advertising. These payments in stock could have been made to The Green Baron, The Wall Street Reporter, Investors Business Daily, Big Apple, Bill Howe(outside contractor) and the companies Plasticon is currently in the process of acquiring. I am not shaken in the slightest with the additional shares and am rather impressed with the savy greesing of the wheels. With the current campaign to reduce share count and promote the company Nationally and Internationally, expand through Stratigic Acquisitions and Partnerships Jim Turek continues to Aggressively move foward to create a company that is a Market Leader and Increase Shareholder Wealth as well as Value. Plasticon's PPS by the end of October will be in the sweet spot and continue to grow aggressively as we move on to the OTC by the end of December at the latest and then 6 months to 1 year later the AMEX. Semco's products alone will prove to be a very shrewd and wealth building acquisition on Jim's part. The distribution into companies like Home Depot and Lowes could prove to be Very Lucrative. As far as where the shares are being taken from to reduce the share count doesn't really matter to me as this will be all a mute point in 6 months. Share structure means Nothing with the Proper Revenue to support it. The Better the Financials the better off the stock is. But I do believe Jim will continue to reduce the number of shares out there. Jim, AKA (Plasticaon Man) has only just begun!

Michael Solomon was born in the Bronx, New York in 1944. After graduating Christopher Columbus High School, he pursued a college education and at that time, he discovered school was not for him.
After 15 years of police work, Michael entered the corporate world of finance, management and sales. He became disillusioned after losing three positions within three years.
