As Americans and people of the 83 other countries who lost citizens in the attacks four years ago take some time out to honor the fallen innocent and heroes of that day and the days that followed, I for one would like to emphasize the resolve that we shared as a nation, and as a nation of nations, in coming together after such a tragic and gruesome attack. Those who died reminded us that we are not as different as our daily lives would suggest. May the Great Architect of the Universe bestow blessings on those directly impacted by those terrible events, and may we be reminded, today among all others, that we as a people are capable of meeting pure and distilled savagery with equally pure honor, sacrifice, duty, and charity.

Nice thought for a Sunday morning remembering 9/11...

Plus it gave me a prayer since this Sunday morning I was worshiping St. Matress instead of sitting in a church pew...Take care buddy...

I like that Matt gave us something on a Monday. Nice to hear about patent approval, but even better to think that he is starting a sequence of releases to get better and better...

Plasticon's Patents Now Valued at $20 Million
9/12/2005 8:30:32 AM

LEXINGTON, Ky., Sept. 12, 2005, Sep 12, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI), the technology leader of the recycled plastics sector, announced today it has recently received confirmation of the company's patent for the PAC Chair III product, the latest innovation from the company.

The PAC Chair III, in one product, replaces all four conventional metal rebar support products -- wire, galvanized, epoxy coated, and stainless steel. "Our industry first PAC Chair III includes the mesh market and the on-grade market with a single product that is both stackable and self-contained with a sand plate, allowing for 3 heights (2 rebar and one mesh)," said Jim Turek, president and CEO of Plasticon International. "This makes the PAC Chair III the most versatile individual rebar support on the market today."

Sales of the PAC Chair III will be made through Plasticon's exclusive domestic distributor, the largest building materials distribution company in the U.S. with 63 strategically located warehouses nationwide.

"Because the PAC Chair III products are stackable, they are much more convenient for workers in the field," Mr. Turek said. He continued to state that, "Metal rebar supports are not stackable, making it difficult to carry more than 32 at a time in a large box. However, the PAC Chair III is stackable, allowing a worker to carry up to 225 individual supports in that same size box. This product gives the construction industry a tremendous opportunity to increase efficiency and productivity. The PAC Chair III also reduces shipping costs. We are pleased that the demand is so high for our newest product offering, and we believe that the clear advantages this product offers will continue to drive sales."

The PAC Chair III is the most recent patent that the company has received. According to an independent appraiser and the federal courts, Plasticon's recycled plastic product patents are valued at $20 million. Additionally, since the inception of the company, Plasticon has built an inventory of injection molds that the company owns outright, which are presently valued at over $10 million.

Kudos for your 9/11 comment, by the way.

This would have been a neat PR in May, IMHO. It's Sept. 12.... I don't have to recap. On its own merits it's super news as yet another indicator of PLNI's tremendous potential. But so far we're nothing but potential.

I'd love to be proved wrong, but the importance of this PR to the market, which is all that counts for people who trade and invest, is a whopping 131,000 shares valued at $1,894 being traded by 9:40 today.

Your Semi-Monthy PLNI Audit Notice, brought to you by: g-invest

3.5 months have now passed since the announcement that the audit would be complete in four weeks. This was the original reason for the run past .01

Link to the PR: http://tinyurl.com/9dqft

Today's closing PPS: .0141
Last time I posted closing PPS: .0134

I have never bought a share of PLNI stock, and I do not intend to unless they are audited and fully-reporting. I am not "bashing" this stock in order to get in at a lower PPS, because I don't intend to buy it till its audited.

Have a good weekend.

G -- I don't get why you bothered with that, and why you are wishing us good weekends on Monday morning...

I am wondering if Cold hasn't hacked in to your computer. I really had you pegged better than someone who who just drop in to a stock to state the obvious (negative side) for no reason.

You are either really bored and in a bad mood, Cold has taken over your computer, or you are just being a wanker this morning. I am hoping it is one of the first two.

Still hope Matt is ramping up to something good this week, though.

So far looks as if I made one HUGE mistake.

In at .018 from the last hype run. I don't swing or daytrade so I guess I'm SOL with my new investment. Oh well, big capital loss for me, unless we close above .02 by years end.

Question-Is the Capital loss/gain still a lousy 3000.00 a year? Thank you in advance. Felling like a dunce.

I was cost averaged in at .017 during the first big run back in late MAY, so I know how you feel! Since then I've had a GTC order in at .009(she will be filling shortly).

...and that is a major problem with PLNI stock! When the ball starts rolling, the swing taders bail out instantly pushing the PPS right back down! If your a swing trader here your lovin' it! For anyone else, it's frustrating.

As for the capital loss/gain, I believe it is 3,000 a year which BTW is crap!! I know that this will make you feel a he77 of a lot better....I'm sitting on a 250,000+ capital loss from Mutual fund scandals a few years back! I currently have about 5 SEC files going, but I doubt(by time the lawyers get done) I will ever see a cent! Now that's frustrating!!! BTW- Bawahahahahahahahaha!!

Cold..
Swing trading isn't keeping this PPS down...It's the MM's shorting...,thought you knew this stock?
They'll let it go if the audit comes, acquisitions final or a announcement the 200 mil share retirement is complete...Of course a huge contract would do it too...

Is it not said that "anything worth having is worth waiting for?" Although I have much to learn (obviously), it does not appear to me that major breakouts occur with any degree of regularity. If, as we believe, the company is solid and has solid prospects, then patience ultimately will be rewarded. Hopefully, sooner rather than later, of course--I can almost hear young Son laughing as Mom (of all persons) counsels patience.

This is a really unusual pattern for PLNi -- they walk it down to 40 and it hits a buy, then up to 45 and no volume to 40. Either my Qcharts is acting up or this is just whacky. Just typed a bunch of crap and then deleted it becuase I haven't seen anything like this. Usually when B/A is 4% apart, there is nothing going on. Don't get the action. This is a good learning experience, because it sure looks unusual to me. Help, oh wise ones -- what the He77 is this pattern?

Just trading sideways...May be searching for another low resistance...say .013...but also could be a head fake and pull an EOD run...or gap tomorrow in the 15's...sneeky MM's...My charts don't tell me either way...Even the 3 month RSI so far shows 45%-50% for the past week or so...I think it will take significant news to bust this out or the charts get tight and it runs some...Your mom's right...Patience...

You must convert. Hang with us -- give up the dark side. Throw out your last maniacal evil laugh and come on over to the light. We will get your 250k back. Just listen to my mom and give it some time, brother. Fred Mertz would never let you down.

I see the support holding well at 14 like it has pretty much for the coupla months, but I don't get the relatively huge bump to 43-45 every buy seems to do. I suppose that's what's getting me. I can't imagine that the float would be so tight as to push it 4% on every buy with no real volume. That's what's odd to me, Bear.

After a couple of phone calls, here is what I was able to glean from the powers to be.

We should have Un-audited results very soon(Any Day Now), with a couple of 10q's right behind it. (First and second quarter) They will then file right behind that for the OTC/BB with the Audited results. The Semco and Promold acquisitions will not be included in the filing.

The share retirement is complete and appears to be reflected in the various web sites reporting. I suggested that they pr the share buyback / retirement Completion.

The SEMCO deal is all but done. The only thing that is left is for the final chemical analysis of the core products to verify the claims made by Semco. This appears to be going very well and will be finalized soon I am told. The acquisition should be completed totally in October.

Promold's financials came back and all appears fine and is in the corporate attorneys hands for final review and approval. This acquisition should also be completed in October.

The acquisitions made by Plasticon are no different than those made by the IBM's of the world and IMO they have moved along fairly quickly in the grand scheme of things. We all have seen some of these type of acquisitions take as long as 1 1/2 years for some companies, so this is pretty darn quick. Plasticon will be a Monster in a very short time and I think we will all be pleased with our share holder value.

Just some thoughts to start the day positive. GLTA [Big Grin]

Here is a nice post from the RB board by Tangs83.

Called Bluelinx today,

Hello all,

Today I called Bluelinx's Eastern and Western divisions to try and dig up some information on Plasticon's plastic rebar supports. Here is a summary of what I found out.

From the east:
Mike Thornton at Bluelinx:

General Take on the product:
-Is very comparable to steel rebar supports
-Links together better than steel

Disadvantages:
-currently costs more than steel, but Bluelinx believes that as economies of scale increase, the price will fall more in line with steel

Orders
-Plasticon is currently meeting all of its orders, and a backlog doesn't exist. Orders are also growing (he would not give me a number though). Bluelinx is very excited about having Plasticon's business because we are currently the only company that can create plastic rebar.

Market dominance
-Steel still dominates but plastic is growing. One opportunity where plastic is much better than steel is in construction directly exposed to the elements (i.e. parking garages, tilt up structures, and pre cast construction). This is due to the fact that plastic doesn't corrode and it is more flexible than steel (meaning that it does better with changing temperatures that causes expansion and contraction.

-----------------------------------------------------------

From the West:
Mark Gariepy at Bluelinx

General take on the product:
-Great product
-Vast opportunity to grow
-Plastic rebar supports are dominated by 1 company (Plasticon)
-Believes that Plasticon can take over huge amounts of market shares as the company grows and becomes more well known
-Says that one must note that Plasticon's other products create even more opportunity for sales by Bluelinx, i.e. its not all about the rebar.
-Mentioned that different building codes require different types of strutual specifications. The three main areas for concrete construction right now are California, Texas, and Florida. Some will always use steel, others have found the usefulness of plastics and might move to plastics for good in the future.

Disadvantages:
-Higher costing, but once again said the price will come down with economies of scale

Orders:
-Plasticon is meeting all orders
-Orders for Plasticon products are growing rapidly

Market Dominace:
-Doesn't believe that plastic rebar supports will dominate the entire industry but does believe that the product will gain a significant amount of market share and in some areas dominate concrete construction. He stated that plastic rebar supports are here to stay because of the advantages that they show the construction industry.

All and all, this talk with 2 Bluelinx offices has made me very excited about the ultimate potential for Plasticon in the construction market. I think we have a real winner here. We have a pink that is being endorsed by a major supplier as something that is here to stay for a long time. We should all be grateful that we have found this company at such a low price. I for one will be holding no matter what the bashers say.

-Tangs

Chopper, excellent DD, thank you.

On unaudited results--am I just being sour, or am I correct in thinking that's useless? Who cares about yet more information that can't be independently verified? If the audited results come immediately after, good; then we'll start to get what we've been waiting for.

State,
The un-audited results are really no different than the audited and we should see a nice spike in pps. Go take a look at the HISC website (http://www.hissusa.com/). They posted the un-audited results and the pps went into the teens! Big Apple helped them with that and are doing the same with Plasticon. We should see the results posted on Plasticon's web site as well. I think they are ramping up for some great news back to back IMO. Soooooo GO PLNI!

I agree, State -- unaudited results will only be yet another step, but since I really don't care too much about the daily pps (except for entertainment), I would view it as another solid step towards achieving our goal, and it might just bump us up against that .02 ceiling one or twice.

I also think that the effect of unaudited results depend on the company. Some companies that are more speculative release their numbers, and it does nothing. OThers (like Chop just said -- HISC, IGTN) release UA and pop hard. It would be nice to break through on UA and I don't make any predictions, but either way I will be very ahppy to see them.
