STATE780.. I'm kind of with you on that. Iv'e been real excited waiting on this big news that we recieved today and low and behold we closed down on big news. This audit has to get out on the table. Don't anyone misunderstand me. I am long on this stock. As youv'e seen my posts before I have been in since 06/01/04. Bought my first 10k shares at .04. The reason I boughtat .04???? PR said we are completing our audit and filing to move to OTC That was news from a year and 2 months ago. HOWEVER...I am very confident that the audit IS coming out soon and this stock will fly. Big difference in last year vs. this year. Just get the dammmm thing out. Nuff said!

This stock is acting quite solidly, IMO. The concern with the audit date is not translating into sales, just consolidation. There are clearly buyers soaking up the sellers resulting in a nice steady uptrend on the charts.
Those of us who trade a multitude of stocks know the slow audit is very common these days. Even many mid-caps and big-caps are filing delay notifications to make sure they don't get in trouble w/Sarbanes-Oxley.
The trouble with swinging this stock here based on a belief the audit news will be tipped and getting in will be easy, is the possibility of other big news. Todays news was a surprise. Who knows what else is coming?
On any given day there could be news of:
- audit - new contracts - new acquisitions - big name executive coming on board - new products - rebar test results - etc...
We have a company with a market cap of $22 million [or less if shares are retired] ramping into a $1 billion plus industry.
This stock should bring many upside surprises before its high enough to worry about the risks for my tolerances.

well that's the problem without the audit--it's big news only if it makes sense compared to the independently verifiable numbers. I believe it does, but the market at large has no reason to.
And imho it's way too early (as another poster said) to say there's a calm reaction to lack of audit news---way too early. Hope you're right though.

i think that this news is huge and they had a pr in june i believe that said the had two sites in mind and it was a matter of making a decision. now they are going to control the process from beginning to end how good can you get? i don't know about the audit so many loose ends like semcoand this new purchase god only knows

State, I think it was I who mentioned the calm reaction today, and I agree with you totally -- I am glad the dam didn't break *today*, but am very worried about the building pressure. They need to get an update out ASAP. I know they pay attention to eh board, so I think it is important that we try as hard as possible to express our concerns without inciting panic.
Man, I have to say I don't remember you being around here -- but I have the attention span of a flea (albeit a 250-lb one). You have brought some poignant points to the table today, and I appreciate your thoughts and information.
On the conspiracy theory side, I still find it odd that Bill has not been available all day, and the web site STILL has not been updated with this morning's PR; can't help but wonder if there is more to come soon...

The web site from my recollection is always a day or two late in posting new pr's. My wish is that they would release the completion of the purchase of Semco then the audit's of Semco and Plasticon seperate and combined to get to the OTC. Afterwards add this New acquisition after they file. Otherwise there's the audit backed up another 2 months.

i really don't think you will see an audit until the end of august or beginning of sept because the numbers will look so much better then not that they won't be ok now but they will look like rocket fuel at the end of this month or in sept. imho i love this stock and i intend to purchase a lot more

i think they post which pr's they want on the website. they didn't post pr about previous audit deadline. the one on 5-18 about audit in 4 weeks isn't on there, but they have 3 other pr's on the website that were out before that. i'm sure todays will be on the site tomorrow, but i don't like them hiding old pr's that didn't come true.

Thanks for your kind comments. Long story short I've been in for maybe 2 and a half months (nothing compared to another poster above since like June 04). Weeks will go by when I don't say anything.
I have a fair amount of money invested, with my biggest block averaged at around .014, so for now I'm in fine shape. Here's why that's a useful data point: I came in a little bit after an initial spike of something like 300%.
On purely pinky stock terms, it's very impressive to stay in this higher trading range for two or three months with relatively little hard news. There's been wonderful news during that period but , even aside from the audit, no big new contracts that translate into anything impressive over the 400 million-share float (never mind the 1.4? billion outstanding). Absent the audit, one could just as easily focus on the fact that PLNI has committed to spending money.
So in that context, again, it's very impressive we're still up here. In my humble opinion it cannot last much longer without the kind of action we've been talking about.

Saw a post over at another board, by one bobc973, that I think sums it up. Posters were asking why pps didn't shoot up today considering the kind of confidence PLNI has to make the latest acquisition:

The audit is not important in and of itself....it is the fact that it will show (hopefully) a profit in the first qtr of 05. Profit = Earnings as in EPS.
Until we have verified financials showing profits or until we have the PR's about new contracts, or revenue streams, we aren't going anywhere folks.... and if that frustrates you , then sell.
The tough part is judging when the right 'news' will come out. This could jump to a double, triple bagger in no time and there will be no looking back (maybe a short 50% retrench). We have a 'gut feeling' we are already under valued. We just need the actual proof. Proof of current earnings, proof of future revenue.
Capacity to produce means nothing without sales. And that is the part of the equation, up until now, we have been missing.
The only other thing that could effect us obviously is the number of shares (as in conversion to preferred, retirement of shares, or buyback). That effects the S in EPS!
So we need earnings news -or- share news. Until then it is warm, fuzzy ca-ca in relation to pps, as strategic and visionary as it may be for future growth. It just doesn't figure into share price valuation.
Me? (as if you care) I would not take the chance that the real deal will not happen tomorrow. And if it does, how can ou afford to buy back in? I couldn't!!

if people are talking eps, if you listed to the summit webcast, it was mentioned that plni was trading about 100x earnings, that was around .015 i believe. if your in this stock, its for growth, not current numbers. i hope people remember that if financials do finally come out. i've just been waiting over a year for them. the only thing making it palatable is the pps, which i think was only pumped up so much because of greenbaron. we do have alot more visibility now, which is good.

I have to go back to George's conversation with Bill from week before last, when Bill said "the audit is done, and being checked over by the accountants." There are two or three things I have thought of where this may be a correct statement and still result in a lack of audit release for a few more days. But based on the fact that everything else reported in that conversation has come to pass, I am optimistic about a quick resolution to the audit issue.
I totally agree with State (again) that this stock is done with speculative swings. Jim did that to himself by announcing timing on the audit.
I do think, though, that they are totally aware of the basket their eggs are in. If there was any lingering doubt, then the lack of impact caused by today's PR should have driven it clearly away.
If not a PR, hopefully we can get something more from Bill tomorrow on this issue.

i would never believe a timeline given by bill. he told me many many times of pr's to come, which didn't come for weeks and weeks. he is a salesman, always remember that. its like asking a car dealer if your getting a good deal.
