Things to look for:

Genetic tests that tell you which drugs will work for you without having to try them out one by one. AIDS is a big focus for this one. (bad for pharma)

Genetic tests that will tell things like if you will get lung cancer from smoking or not.

Look for genetic testing to hook up with vitamin companies, and customize a vitamin program based on problems you may have down the road. (example, 400mg-600mg of vitamin E delays lupus up to 10 years, if you take it early enough)

Genomics will even play a part in warfare.

Sorry, I know it was off topic.

Good luck all, and go Q!

Kev
I forgive you for going off topic . . . that was interesting stuff.

Good morning fellow "Qbiddians". Looking for a greenday. It's been over a week since we had a press release. When I spoke with Richard at IR yesterday he said that he had no new news other than the business license has been renewed in WA state. BUt that was yesterday [Smile]
IMO if the buyback is finished then we get great news very soon!!!! if it is not then we get a PR as an update to the pride activities. We should aslo hear about the studio deal any day.

Long, strong, holding and anticipating a PR very soon.

GO QBID!!!!!! Bring ON The Green [Big Grin]

I'm noticing that it is sitting on .0019 a bit longer than .0020 and that the low is .0018. If we're lucky, this is the slight drop before the rise. I think we might not even see .0017.

I JUST KNOW FRANK THE FRAUDSTER IS BRINGING DOWN THE SHARE PRICE SO THAT HE CAN BUYBACK THAT MANY MORE SHARES.

IF FRANK BUYS BACK X-AMOUNT. THEN MULTIPLY Y AND ADD THIS AND THAT, SHOOT, THAT $3.00/SHARE.

I THINK FRANKS' WAITING FOR A FURTHER DROP TO DO MORE OF A BUYBACK.

THIS IS THE WEEK TO THE MOON.

AWESOME, NOW WE HAVE 10-MILLION "POTENTIAL" VIEWERS.

AFTER THE RETIREMENT OF SHARES AND THE BUYBACK, OH MAN!

JUNE IS COMING.

APRIL IS COMING.

BUYBACK IS COMING.

RETIREMENT OF SHARES IS COMING.

UPGRADE FOR THE 3RD TIME IS COMING.

Q IS ON THE MOVE.

FEB 04, WE HAVE 15-BILLION SHARES AND 6,000 SHARE HOLDERS. SEPT '04. SECRETLY GIVES AWAY 6 BILLION SHARES. THEN AUTHORIZES 50-BILLION MORE BUT THAT IS ONLY "JUST IN CASE THEY NEED THEM." TOTAL QBID SHARES: 71-BILLION. BUT HEY, WE CAN ISSUE ALL THEM SHARES AND ANNOUNCE A BUYBACK, YEAH, THAT SOUNDS GREAT. LET'S NOT STOP THERE, LET'S ANNOUNCE THAT FRANK RETIRED SHARES ALSO. OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH.

HEY BUDDY, "CAN I BORROW $10 FROM YA TO PAY YOU BACK THE $10 I OWE YA?"

WE SECURED 5-YEAR GUARANTEED FINANCING. 2 WEEKS LATER, OH WAIT, WE OBTAINED A $2-MILLION DOLLAR LOAN TO SECURE THE FIRST YEAR BROADCAST.

Q IS ON THE MOVE (NO KIDDING)

OH U4 IS POSTING SO I KNOW IT'S ABOUT TO GO UP.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Paris Hilton and her mother, Kathy, will be grand marshals for the annual gay pride parade, one of the city's biggest celebrations.

They will greet tens of thousands of people expected Sunday at the Los Angeles Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual & Transgender Pride Parade.

Paris Hilton, the 24-year-old star of television's "The Simple Life" reality show, provoked controversy recently by appearing scantily clad in a Carl's Jr. burger commercial.

The hotel heiress is engaged to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis, a grandson of John Latsis, the last of Greece's shipping billionaires from the postwar boom years, who died in 2003 at 93.

Kathy Hilton stars in NBC's "I Want to Be a Hilton," in which she guides 14 young contestants through a variety of weekly challenges in the New York social scene, ranging from art and culture to beauty and fashion. The winner of the show, which premieres June 21, will receive a $200,000 trust fund.

I posted this origanally in January and beleive that
"Q" is making great strides in the 3 key areas listed

originally posted January 12, 2005 11:29

The success ($$$$$$) of QBID will come from three key areas IMO :

- solid fiscal management with known financials
- solid distribution (e.g.: "name brand" carriers, strong
subscription base, nationwide / world wide "rights")
- buzz, buzz, buzz (" I want my Q TV !" )

From what I have read, QBID is chipping away at all of this keys but still has work to do :

- The financial side of Q is still murky and needs to be justified and clarified more and more. Once the numbers within the Q organization look solid and can be tracked, the financial area will be viewed as a positive, instead of what appears to be a negative (at this time). This will appease the conservative side of the
investor community.

- The distribution side of Q is the strongest area IMO right now. A steady stream of PR's regarding RCN happenings, programming details, Gay Games rights, etc... has made this THE base of Q's success as it stands today. Once the "name brand " carriers come on board (not talking about satellite co. XYZ...but solid/ financially stable name brand companies) and subscription numbers can be verified, the 2nd key to success ($$$$$$) will be achieved.

- The "buzz" is brewing. Inside the various forums there is a constant "buzz" about QBID (or whatever your "stock of the moment" is). But the "buzz" that can be generated from a brief mention on national TV via David Letterman or a PR regarding a tribute to an icon in the world (not just the gay world) like Liz Taylor, is where the REAL "buzz" begins to unlock the most critical key to success ($$$$$$). Q NEEDS to become THE place where not only subscribers, but the media & entertainment world AND mainstream America turn to for there gay info. It needs to be the "in thing" to watch, be watched on and be associated with. Q needs to be chic and ultimately become a cliché. . Q needs to become synonymous with gay television (e.g.: Kleenex = tissue or Xerox = copier.....Q = gay TV ?). The "buzz" key is still in its infancy but it is the key that can build momentum the fastest and make Q successful ($$$$$$) literally overnight.

After I buy it goes down more...I sell to short the loss and wait...let it go down, buy again and it goes down again....May be I should quit and it will go up for you guys...wheres the bottom...

King ATL has done a good job keeping these areas up. It keeps building. Piedmont Park is very nice. They restored the Fox on Peachtree. Fun city. ALso don't forget Turner Broadcasting is here. They are a Time Warner Company.

Hang in there. Things are coming together. With some pinks you never know if it is all hype or not. With this stock investors from this very thread show up at events, take pictures and post them here. Give it the rest of this month, and I think more will be clear. There are way too many great things happening for Q this month for the PPS not to go up nicely.

This is not a day trade stock.

Underground openned up but struggled for years. Due to some of the violence in Buckhead from the late night barscene ATL shuts down bars earlier but has extended operating hours for underground. I hope that helps bring more business to the area.

Good advice. If QBID doesn't make it bigtime, it won't be for lack of trying. They appear to have the tools to make it happen . . . and patience has to be our strong suit for now.
