Any ideas on the worth of pride toward our pps? If we are in with pride any ideas of what pps we would be looking at? My best guess is .24 area....

It's really hard to say, but I'm pretty sure we would be over a dime.

.24?
really?
Thats a tad high. I imagine a ton of profit taking would happen before we get to .24

It might be a little high, but if we acquire PrideVision's assests we should definitely be in penny land.

Penny land for sure. At .24 I imagine hundreds of people would be dumping since they're be retiring easily.

I don't believe .24 is high... Pride is a up and running network with viewers and carriers. Adding Q to the mix and a few deals on the US side and .24 starts to look like nothing. Sure some news of retired shares would help. Call me crazy, but IMO .24....... ALSO before I forget we are what 15 months from the gay olympics.... That pps is sounding more obtainable.........

Hi all,

Just back from a road trip--tired but had to check the board.

Can you feel it in the air? [Smile]

JMO, the PR could put pressure on Craig to sell. The offer is now public--Justice Outback would have knowledge that there could be some cash to settle it.

Well what I've come to realize after this most recent run is that this stock is still controlled my mm's and day traders. It's going to need a lot more than a news alert on microcaptrader to push to .24. Matt

Just got back in, it started to sprinkle, so they shut down the outdoor cameras and activities. Frank told me they are going to have a layout in the local paper all this week promoting this event. He said they kept it quite and just PR'd it today b/c they knew they would not be quite ready for the public yet. This is a professinal production, it's like ESPN or something is covering this, it is truely amazing to see QTN doing this!

sirs...to be clear, I did not publicly state who told me this info about PV. I brought up PV, saying it would be nice, but is it likely...basically. I was told it was done and should be formal around 4/2/05. I asked if that would be the 24%, no...80%. We just looked at each other...I said ...that would be something.

At the very least QBID will soon own a stake in Pride if not own it out right!

Frank will Help Bill out with his problems & give him a leadership role in QBID. This in turn for Bills shares of Pride which probably carry exclusive voting rights. In short QBID doesn't even need to own Pride in total, just control it from with in.

Frank's programing + Prides carrier deals is a wining combination!

If you remember Betting Babe saw that coming last Summer & even point out that Pride & QBID had the same PR firm.

"All we ever had to do is launch!"

It would be hard not to sell, but if things are in order to take us to .10 or .25 then; without a doubt we will hit a dollar.... This type of stock and the market they are in things happen fast... With TV things are instant and not years. This stock might react the same way... With a deal and some good prs we could pop to a dollar in one day... It has been done before with other stocks and can happen again.

Report: Ad spending in gay media soared in 2004
March 22, 2005 18:44:23 (ET)

CHICAGO (MarketWatch) -- Corporate America stepped up its attempts to woo gay and lesbian customers in 2004, according to an ad spending study released Tuesday.

In their "2004 Gay Press Report," ad agency Prime Access and media placement firm Rivendell Media said that advertising in gay publications soared more than 28 percent last year, hitting $207 million. More than 150 of the Fortune 500 companies bought into gay media last year, the report continued, an all-time high.

The dollar total is the highest dollar figure since 2000 and a reversal of three straight years of slumping spending, a trend that seemingly flies in the face of well published - and usually successful - 2004 campaign against gay marriage, noted the chief executive of Prime Access.

"Corporations see that there is some polarization in terms of the politics but they are looking at the business case," said Howard Buford.

Buford added that the controversy may also be helping fuel the trend rather than retard it since audiences for gay media have risen as result of it, Buford noted.

The report looked at 139 gay and lesbian titles, from national magazines including the Advocate and Out to regional offerings like the Windy City Times and Mom Guess What! The report extrapolated full-year results from the issues in April, which it said was a typical month.

While total spending in gay media remains small, that 28 percent year-over-year growth rate compares more than favorably to those of any other media. In its 2004 ad report, released two weeks ago, TNS Media Intelligence estimated that total ad spending grew 9.8 percent last year. And even the hottest media category of the 17 it tracked - the Internet - had 21 percent growth.

Almost all mainstream business categories were identified as advertising in the gay media, with financial services, travel, food and drink, services and health among top spenders.

And in some cases, virtually all major players are in. For instance, in the automotive category, not only were the Big Three -- General Motors (GM, Trade), Ford (F, Trade) and DaimlerChrysler (DCX, Trade) - spending but imports including Audi, Land Rover and Subaru were also well-represented. In beer and spirits, Anheuser-Busch (BUD, Trade), Molson Coors (TAP, Trade), Bacardi, Diageo (DEO, Trade) and Absolut were represented.

"There is now a critical mass of brands and companies in this market," Buford said, likening it to the state of the African-American market 20 or 25 years ago. "And there is a trend toward more gay-specific advertising as opposed to just placing their mainstream ads in the gay press."

By Mike Wilke's count, some 36 members of the Fortune 100 bought gay media last year.

Wilke, executive director of the Commercial Closet Association, a non-profit marketing education group said the trends identified in the study augur well for the financial future of other gay media, including dedicated channels on Sirius Satellite (SIRI, Trade) and Logo, the soon-to-launch cable TV offering from Viacom (VIA, Trade).

"I see continued modest growth in the market," he said. "A regular question after the election was how things will be affected but what we have been seeing is business and government going in opposite directions."

I think it was Ric that pointed out, the MM's make money on volume...and this has good volume and alot of shares to trade.....so, if daytraders are buying alot everyday, and swinging it, it makes sense for the MM's to keep the BA low..and drag it down when they are low on shares.....this would maximize profit for them....just a theory....IMHO....GLTA
