Digital and satellite subscribers should contact their provider for details on exchanging a current channel for, or adding OUTtv to their channel lineup at no extra cost.
OUTtv: So this is where the Q programming is suppose to be going according to the press release, letter of intent.
So after April 07th the "Q" programming will be available to everyone who can get OUTtv (new format for Pridevision.
"I feel this is the first step in a long relationship between the two networks," said Olsen. "We have a great interest in working with OUTtv and moving Q Television forward with this venture. This also shows how committed Q Television and its executives are at making GLBT televisions succeed for the queer communities."
GO QBID!!!!!!
Subscribers will increase from 20,000 to upwards of 700,000 after April 7th launch AND we will be seen by all these people. NOW THATS BIG!!!!!

You are right...sorry...I am just tired of the same old path...I am over it and busy watching CNES today...good day everyone
George, I am wondering if you own shares of QBID? I've noticed you post nothing but positive things about CNES, even when things aren't going so well, yet you seem to give off a lot of negative energy on this thread regardless if news is good or not. I still enjoy hearing what you have to say, and I don't consider you a basher, but I'm just wondering why this is?

Yes I do and I have for the last year or so. I can not compare Qbid to CNES..or GTEL which I also hold plus some others. I do not mean to get like that but I just got tired of the way Q releases PRs, CNES does not release a PR unless it is solid..Look at the history of both, look at the freqency of both. Also as an example I feel the same about MSITF with the way they release PRs the same as Q does. Look at their track record...Lots of great news that goes no where. I still believe that MSITF could be a gold mine at some point but right now I come across negitive on it also. If CNES was about to merge, buyout or something you would not hear about it until it is a done deal. This is rumor now with CNES. I also just try to help, it seems like more people on the Q thread read too much into the PRs...I like to get excited also but we have to try and maintain within what is real.
I do not mean to come across as a basher and I have even deleted some of my remarks once I read over them becuase they were not right. Sorry if I have hurt anyone feelings but I am like most of you...happy at time and pissed at times....with that said....GO Q

Nicholas, the midwest will welcome Q, maybe not the redneck portions, but in cities like Chicago it will be big! Why else would they be having the gay games in Chicago?

The main reason I believe is because Chicago is somewhat centrally located in the US. Make sense? It makes the degree of difficulty to get there from either coast similar.

My bad, Chicago has 3 times as many people, but that does not mean you can go and assume everyone from Des Moines is a farmer or owns land
It's a busy, high tech, college town

im sorry but saying rednecks only exists in the south is a rather ignorant statement, you obviously havent been up north, by way of heartford wisconsin where i know for a fact rednecks exists, nor have you been outwest south of colorado springs, where i know for a fact "rednecks" exist. saying this class of people (which is a stupid statement anyways because people are people no matter where they are from) is just stupid in todays time. Im sorry but your wrong.

Ok, try like 7 times as many and thats just Chicago (2.9 million). Include all the suburbs and you have something like 8.5 million. Compare that to your 416,425 population of Des Moines. Now, lets assume the 10% gay population theory and you now have 850,000 in one area, twice the size of the one town you mentioned.
Wait, how many professional sports teams does that town have?

I know a gay logger who lost his leg in a logging accident. He was saving a green choker setter's life....[[ a choker setter puts the cable around the log ]]..He is one big dude...We would kid him all the time about being gay,he would laugh and then chase us. It was one of those situations where you would have to be there to appreciate how funny he was...Darn'est thing was how clean he kept the logging camp!!!!!!

Slug, Des Moines has a 700k pop as of last year and still growing
Chicago has about 2.3mil (way to inflate the numbers, just like you inflate QBID's value)
