In the long run it is a great PR because that means you will have just that many more shares when he gives out the shares in the OTCBB stock.

Not really, just one sell. Two things why this won't move much especially not right now. One is that you have a month to get in this one. If it does run a little, it won't run till you get closer to the date of record. Secondly, this dividend helps out the longs on this stock as it will give them more shares when the pps moves up in the future. For the immediate future, some stock holders who don't know the general game plan of this stock will just see this as a measure that will dilute the value of the stock. I have seen enough of these types of dividends given out to know that it usually doesn't have a tremendous immediate effect on the stock.

Or...there is no divedend in an OTC stock. I'm trying really hard to stay faithful to this, but it feels like we keep getting led on and on.
I thought the idea of the buy back/retiring of shares was to keep the amount of shares down. Now a 15% gift pumps that total back up which, to me, seems to hold the PPS down.
I'm still holding, but I'm really starting to scratch my head about this.

Great move by Ed. The MM's and daytraders are screwing up Ican's pps. What better way to try to control the situation. Shareholders just made 15% on there investment buy just holding ICAN, NICE!
The fact that he's doing this right now tells me Ed needs to stabalize an otherwise volatile situation created by the MM's at least until May 15.
HOLD your stock something big is coming in May!!!!! ------------------------------------------------ Boards don't hit back

a div like this is only good if the pps doesnt drop. we have to remember the further the stock gets diluted the further the spin off otc becomes diluted.
what i would hope for now, is that after the 15% div is payed out ICAN will begin an agressive buy back and share retirement program THAT would be a nice reward for all of us that having holding long. and it would drive the pps up to the point where this company should be
after all a 15% div is only 75 dollars per one million shares held or rughly.000075 at current pps
i beleive in ed so im still holding long just wish that he would fill us in on what the plan is

I believe in Ed too, but I agree with bmax. I'd rather have them say "Hey, this is our plan for the next year." Instead of "Hey, better grab some stock, big news coming next month!" The thing is, "next month" never gets here.

dellamorte well i do agree with in that they never said that they were going to have a forward split, but Ed did give us his word that they also were not going to have a reverse split just to bring the pps up.what he did promise was that he would bring an end to the naked short sellers and make the mm's accountable for the way that they do business . and that would bring the share price up to reflect the true value.I beleive that price would be some where around .03-.04 per share. this is JMO but if you add the assets and revs it comes out close to that, and thats not without any PE multiples my biggest worry is that with further diluation it will be harder to achive .04
the thing that will send the pps upto that level is the spin off into a FULLY REPORTING otc im hoping that we get more news on that soon
hopefully before the 15% div is paid out that would get some real excitment going for ican
As i always say buy large and hold lets shut out the daytraders and short sellers good luck all

Well that .0048 was not a fat finger IMO...if it was it would of been .004 or .005... So was it a signal to the other MM's of what thw stock is actually worth or where it will run soon...

MM play in 5th digit at this level it was probably a .00048, everything has to be put it manually in pinksheets and errors like this is common. It is already been corrected in my streamer anyway.

The Royal Entertainment Group, a Subsidiary of IBAC Corporation, Announces Its First Concert Event at the Pine Bluff Convention Center Auditorium the Legendary Singing and Song Writing Team of Ashford & Simpson on Saturday May 28, 2005
PINE BLUFF, Ark., Apr 07, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Royal Entertainment Group and affiliate The Royal Arkansas Hotel & Suites, subsidiaries of IBAC Corporation (Pink Sheets: ICAN), will present their first concert event at the Pine Bluff Convention Center Auditorium during memorial day weekend at 9pm Saturday May 28, 2005. Nickolas Ashford & Valerie Simpson have had two careers, as songwriters and performers, with the former seemingly more important than the latter until the mid - 80s. The two met in 1964 and scored their first songwriting hit in 1966 with Ray Charles recording of their "Let's Go Get Stoned." After a period at Specter Records, they moved to Motown, where they wrote hits for the duo of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell ("Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing" and "You're All I Need to Get By"). When Diana Ross left the Supremes for a solo career, Ashford & Simpson wrote "Reach Out and Touch Somebody's Hand" for her. Their own performing career was launched in 1973 with Keep It Comin on Motown and Gimmie Something Real on Warner Bros. Their first success came in 1977 with the gold-selling Send It, which contained the Top Ten R&B hit "Don't Cost You Nothing." Is It Still Good to Ya, a second gold album, contained the number two R&B hit "It seems to Hang On" in 1978.
Stay Free, their third straight gold album contained "Found A Cure," another R&B smash that also made the Top 40 on the pop chart.
A Musical Affair, in 1980, featured the hit "Love Don't Make It Right," but was not as successful as previous efforts. Meanwhile, Ashford & Simpson continued to work with other artists, scoring successes with Diana Ross, Chaka Kahn ("I'm Every Women"), and Gladys Knight. Their own career saw a resurgence in 1984 with Solid, which went gold and produced the number one "SOLID" (number 12 on the pop charts), "Outta the World," and "Babies." During the late 80s and 90s Ashford & Simpson continued to tour and record sporadically.
"We are very pleased to have as our first concert event The Legendary Ashford & Simpson and we know they will put on a great show. We are further looking forward to bringing to the Pine Bluff Convention Center more quality acts and events in the months to come it is the intent of our company to bring some type of quality event every other month weather it be Comedy, Musical Concert, Plays, etc. to the complex," said Garry Becker President The Royal Arkansas Hotel & Suites.

hi all i spent the night thinking about this 15% div. This could be a great and inexpensive way to trak all of the share holders of record and put the MM's on gaurd for whats about to happen. and give us dogs a bone

good job Ed
Yea, I was thinking the same thing yesterday. Good way to re-establish what your outstanding shares are.

Also, by putting out a PR stating a dividend date. It will promote a longer hold for those who want to get the dividend. Good way to keep us holding. Holding always means less selling, which equates to a better PPS.

I'm not too crazy about carrots being dangled to hold on to my stock for a certain period. Not by a pinkie. Reward investors that have actually been the faithful by holding longer term. I think we have a bit of roller coaster ride coming.

This one could get interesting next week with the expected annoucement of the acquisition of the Bonita Springs Sanibel Restaurant. Could give the pps a little boost.

Well, actually the stock was diluted. It was a good dilution but they added 15% to the shares count by all means when they issue the divi's. In a normal situation the stock would decrease in value.
Now since the stock didn't decrease in value then it means it actually increased because you have more shares at the same price. Make sense, lol.
