IBAC Corporation Completes Acquisition of Monarch Entertainment Group Worldwide, Inc.
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 14, 2005--IBAC Corporation (PINK SHEETS:ICAN) today announced that they have completed the acquisition of Monarch Entertainment Group Worldwide, Inc. Monarch is now a wholly owned subsidiary of IBAC.
Monarch Entertainment Group Worldwide is in the event management & concert production business and will assist in IBAC's ability/desire to bring top name entertainment & events to the Pine Bluff Convention Center, IBAC subsidiary National Hospitality Management holds the contract for all food, beverage & concessions at the facility and will rely on Monarch to increase traffic to the complex which also includes IBAC's other subsidiary The Royal Arkansas Hotel & Suites. The company paid cash & stock for this acquisition.
"We like this acquisition as it will enhance our holdings and revenues in Arkansas IBAC thru its subsidiary National Hospitality Management Services holds a (5) year contract with (4) renewable (5) year options for the food beverage, concession & banquet services at the convention center and also owns the attached hotel, this gives the company a virtual lock on all food, beverage, liquor sales, banquet operations and hotel rooms at the complex. I am very excited about this acquisition as it gives IBAC another revenue stream by producing concerts & events at the complex. The company already receives exclusive revenue from everyone eating, drinking and lodging at the entire convention center complex, now with the acquisition of Monarch we will increase traffic to the complex, this is a very exciting time for the company as we increase our hold on all revenues generated at the convention center complex," said Edward W. Hayter President.
The Pine Bluff Convention Center (www.pinebluffonline.com) has 90,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, the Convention Center is the fourth largest meeting facility in the state of Arkansas. This colossal center features a state-of-the-art arena, an auditorium/theater, banquet hall, spacious lobby area, ample parking, full camper hookups, a beautiful park and the Arkansas Entertainers Hall of Fame.
The Royal Arkansas Hotel & Suites is a 5 story 200 room full service atrium hotel attached to the Pine Bluff Convention Center and includes 2 restaurants a lounge and 10,000 square ft of banquet space.

Whew... Ed had me a little worried there when there was no PR on this but he came through as usual. This probably means we won't see the Bonita Springs acquisition PR until after the closing bell tomorrow either. Oh well, should make for a good Monday

I think alot of the reason why we are getting news without a rise in PPS is the manner in which the PR's are put out. They don't command attention. There is alot of better ways to word these recent PR's, that would garner more attention from buyers.
Ed... Hire someone to put out these PR's that has some history in advertising or something.
The news up to this point has all een positive, but to me just doesn't seem that appealing when read.
Let me know if any of you also feel the same way.

Haven't been trying to buy more but that does seem weird. Could be the MMs selling to each other to drive the price down so they can cover their shorts. I really, really wish they would drop the gag order on the TA.
