Just hoping short term peak doesn't come today, and I'm stuck at 001 when scottrade gets this done. Would like to flip a little over at least 0012.

Short covers are very difficult to force. That's why there are so many more anticipated then realized. The 2 ways to force it are a huge MOMO run that drives up the price so that they have to buy back the shares to try and limit their losses and/or some other event such as a dividend issuance that the shorts would be responsible for on their shorted shares.
Absent one of those forcing events (and the MOMO one is particualrly difficult because the shorters can further short into the run), the shorts NEVER have to cover. And most of the time they never are covered.
The most common short issue is the fail to deliver--MMs selling shares the don't have. Technically, they have 13 days to cover, but that can be extended indefinately by shuffling the shorted shares around between market makers.
It's a problem in the stock market as a whole and a huge one on the pink sheets. I've seen passed around a link to some professor who describes how MMs actually, consciously destroy companies by shorting the stock price down to nothing.
Another poster here probably has it saved and can send it to you.

is it just me or is this awfully reminiscent of the early days of SLJB. I am just glad to be in early on this one. I came in much later on SLJB and I was the one left holding the bag.

What happened to the volume here? I seem to recall this being over 1bil back in January and February as CHNW. With the volume in the billions back then this barely moved over the pps it has now. I like all the positive news and hype the same as the next person. You would think the volume would be back to or near a peak wouldn't you? I feel that it is awfully low with all things considered.
Maybe someone has a theory? I certainly don't!

EFGO change finally went through and maybe lots of people are selling? Some people say dilution. Would dilution make sense if the company plans to buy back several hundred million shares?

Esprit Financial Group Inc. (Esprit) (EFGO.PK) To Expand Presence in Forex Trading Tuesday April 17, 2:03 pm ET
LAS VEGAS, NV, April 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Esprit Financial Group Inc. (ESPRIT) (EFGO.PK) www.espritfinancialgroup.com has made a strategic decision to create additional vertical integration for its Forex division, headed by Richard Sciacchetano. The Company is looking for the Forex division to become one of the major pillars in its electronic financial products portfolio, after recently launching its Forex Website as an Introducing Broker for Advanced Markets. Mr. Sciacchetano noted that, "In order to fully realize the potential gross margins from the forex trading sector, we will need to go beyond the introducing broker role, and become a broker-dealer and/or FCM, as well as registering with the NFA. The window of opportunity is here, and we believe we can expand our products service capabilities to capture a greater percentage of the revenue stream from retail Forex trading."
Garr Winters, Esprit CEO noted that, "We have senior management consensus that this is one of the core businesses that best fit our model. Over the next month or two, we will be evaluating potential entry approaches to deepen our service capabilities. We have several options available:
- Purchase a broker-dealer with Forex expertise - Acquisition of a Company such as our strategic partner Advanced Markets that is already established with a licensed trading platform and the requisite credentials as an FCM and member of the NFA. - Build our own broker-dealer capabilities through strategic hires into the division."
Winters added, "At this point, we are leaning to one of the latter two strategies, which provide a much better return on investment than the outright purchase of a dealer-broker. Initial discussions have been initiated in a serious manner, although it will take a while to agree to general terms and ultimately perform the due diligence required before choosing one of the strategic options and subsequently closing a deal. While I am in Texas with Jack Chang, Richard will be moving forward on the Forex front. Once the whole team is all back from the various business trips, this week we will sit down in a more structured environment and evaluate the options in front of us, and re-prioritize the different projects. My time with Jack will allow us to develop some clearer time lines for rollout of the AEFM division services. We will also report back on some of the new opportunities within the original Payday Loan division."
Additionally, Winters added, "Things have been going at break-neck speed over the last couple of months. Once we are all back at Head Office, we will meet as a group, establishing timelines and priorities over the number of initiatives recently announced. To a certain extent, this will be driven by the concept of harvesting 'low hanging fruit', and lock up some contracts that will demonstrate the best potential for short term revenue. There may be some additional surprises in terms of new product service capabilities within our core business sectors, but this will be driven by rigorous analysis and due diligence."
On a closing note, Winters added, "We are consistent in our focus on building shareholder value. I as well as some of our senior manages intend to see our stock compensation increase dramatically through the year."
Winters summarized: "Simply put, our target has not shifted. We have specifically identified business deals pending, and we are putting the necessary service capabilities in place to handle these products as soon as possible. Shareholders will need to show some patience as we put these contracts together. We will continue to distribute timely information in a transparent manner to the best of our abilities."

Strange trading going on. I actually hope they keep the price down until tomorow. I want to get more at this price.
Anyone noticing the 9998 and 9988 and other odd trades? Possible MM signals? The MMs keep letting buys go through at bid. The AH 1m at 9 was a buy not sell.

My scottrade finally updated everything to EFGO. I think it depends on the last time you bought it. Half of mine was converted yesterday and then the rest in the amount I last bought changed today. It will go back up tommorow and possibly higher IMO.

excerpt: Mr. Winters noted that, "By mid-week, we expect to have put in place key banking resources to support some of our key international funds transfer products. Once that is accomplished, we will be in a position to close some of the outstanding deals for these services, and would expect to announce some Agreements in Principle and Letters of Intent for new business by the end of April. These are new business contracts that have not previously been announced or discussed, in keeping with our desire to be conservative in our projections and announcements".
