I mailed off one to each of my senators and my US Congressman...we shall see....my bet is on the Congressman first, Senator Shelby second, and Senator Sessions won't do a darn thing.
Wish I could trade stocks on that info....10X for sure

I think it's great for "the elected" to become aware of how many people are migrating to trading/investing...maybe someday we can afford a lobbyist! lol
OK, since you're betting, I bet you get a "thank you, we've passed it on" and then finally a response from Banking & Finance, with a *hint* of doing something, but mostly blah blah.
Don't get me wrong--as I say, I think it's great to make them aware of "our growing community."

Actually? I have contacted my electeds twice in my lifetime (other than this one). The first time it was just the Senators, and Sessions did a big nothing, Shelby got me what I needed and within a reasonable time frame. The second time was with the CSHD fiasco...enbarrassed I fell for that, but hey, again, Bonner (the congressman) was the most effective, Shelby was a very close second, and Sessions gave some B.S. excuse.
But then, maybe it is time for them to do nothing....will be surprised...benefits of living in a less populated state.

Real nice weekend to work on those "to do" lists. Darn exhausting though dat's for sure! speakin for myself. getting ready to work on some rock gardens and ponds.

I just talked to ChoiceTrade again for my daily "update" - LOL - and they said if it does come off the halt, then yes, the DTC would automatically start settling trades again.
I think their reps have been absolutely hammered with people....I told them I felt almost as sorry for them, and they didn't have money tied up...

unlikely that the Choicetrade rep knows what DTC might or might not do... for one, according to the rule NASD invoked, 10 days is the limit for the halt...ie, it can't *not* "come off" said halt. Whether DTC lifts its notice is a separate question...
