Anyone here in BHUB through Tradefreedom in Canada or have a broker who clears through Penson? I have been trying to place trades online on BHUB through tradefreedom and they are not allowing anything to go through. They have indicated (over the phone) that Penson has placed a strict no-trade order on the stock. Can anyone confirm this information?

Apparently, restrictions are affecting more Canadian brokers... one fella posted that his broker is restricting for now, but if nothing is proven, it will be lifted...

perhaps the restrictions are coming from brokerages involved in issuing/initial trading of the unreg shares...

Scotia McLeod, One of Canada'a Largest Brokerages
... has no problem buying or selling this security today, and has received no information that would cause them to change their position in regards to that.
Any houses retricting trading are doing so in order to protect their own interests.

Hmm, I just put a buy order in through Choicetrade and it was accepted. Sherri, did it give you a reason? Like did you put in for more $ than you had by accident or anything?

Sherri, my order just went through. Was thinking maybe it would bounce back after the initial acceptance, but maybe you should try again, even just a test to buy at like .0001 and then cancel it if you want.

I don't get it. If people are saying it's on total lockdown, how can everyone be selling?
