Eternal Image Licenses Star Trek(TM) Funerals Are the Final Frontier as Star Trek Merchandise Reaches Out to Four Decades of Fans Sep 14, 2007 9:24:00 AM Copyright Business Wire 2007 FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image funerary products such as caskets and urns, today announced it has executed an agreement to design, manufacture and market a line of Star Trek(TM) branded funeral products. The line will include collector-quality urns, caskets, memorials and vaults. The international agreement encompasses the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Korea and Japan.
"After launching our company in 2006 with sports, collectible, religious and pet branded items, the agreement provides us with a tremendous opportunity to enter the entertainment industry category with an extremely popular and well-loved brand," said Clint Mytych, CEO Eternal Image.
"These licensed-image Star Trek products offer true fans a unique expression of their commitment to the franchise. For many years fans have asked for these types of products - or made their own - and we believe the Star Trek audience will embrace the idea which will create a very strong demand," added Mytych.
Eternal Image has begun the design process and expects to begin shipping urns and caskets to distributors in late 2007.
Building Q, a licensing and marketing firm headquartered in Medford, New Jersey, represented Eternal Image in the acquisition of the license.

moneymo, not sure I've ever seen like 100,000 people attend an A-Team convention. Star Trek people are obsessed. Not the news I was hoping for, but hardly worthless news, IMO.

WRONG! This will be a major revenue stream worldwide. Do you know how many Star Trek conventions are held AROUND THE WORLD every year? Sci-Fi Conventions, Comic Book etc.
Oh, ya, NEW STAR TREK MOVIE coming out next year.
Check Out Ebay for Star Trek Collectibles.
This may not be the NFL but Worldwide impact will probably be as big.

I was about to ask the same question. And if they are increasing shares than this thing has reverse split written all over it. Thats not good, as we know, very rarely is any money made after a R/S.

I think you're intentionally trying to mislead people. And Viper, you're even more transparent.

Despite the connotation, a R/S is only truly bad when the company dumps shares after the R/S. If they realy R/S to get the price up for a higher exchange or to get more interest, then that, in and of itself, is not a bad thing. The problem is that all penny companies that do a R/S SAY that they're doing it for the right reasons but then dump afterwards.

They are covering quite a span: The international agreement encompasses the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Korea and Japan.
