As announced earlier today by The Fight Network’s own Jason Abelson, the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board will announce tomorrow its intentions to institute a three-stage weigh-in policy for all championship boxing and mixed martial arts contests.
Sensitive to the recent occurrences outside its jurisdiction in which championship boxing participants have either missed or utilized unhealthy tactics to make their weight requirements at weigh-ins the day before their bout, the NJACB will make it mandatory for championship competitors to submit to two additional weigh-ins before their third and final trip to the scales.
At a 30-day weigh-in, a contestant cannot weigh over 10% of his or her fighting weight, while at a 7-day weigh-in, a contestant must be within 5% of his or her contract weight. Athletes training outside New Jersey will have the option to log in their weights at their local athletic commission or through an approved medical facility.
Believing a “day-of” weigh-in will only encourage more weight-cutting, the NJSACB hopes this system will promote a gradual weight loss program for its participants.
While NJSACB counsel Nick Lembo says the decision resonates from recent situations stemming from the boxing world, he acknowledges this action must be taken for the MMA community as well.
“Again our primary focus is the heath and safety of the competitors and the image of the sport,” say Lembo. “We are aware that the common weight-cutting practices utilized in boxing are also apparent in the MMA culture. We hope this is a start to lessening the chance of a mixed martial artist getting hurt in the ring from dehydration.”
The policy will go into effect on January 1, 2007.

This WILL move... But not when any chart says so. WHEN NEWS comes out. I've been watching BKMP for a year now, and it's never moved because of charting. It's gone to .001 or higher twice. Once because of the FDCH divi, and then again months later because of the Verizon mobile deal. That's it. You can go blind looking at the charts if you want, but if you look at the 1 year chart, you'll see that I'm 100% right. I don't care what the bollinger bands and candlesticks say, you can get just as useful information down the street from a woman with a crystal ball. It will move when GOOD news comes out. I capitalize good because average news does not do anything to this stock either. Most of my money is in BKMP because I believe GOOD news is coming, and I can wait. In the meantime, look back at how long people have been saying how great the chart looks on a daily basis and ask them "what the use is if it's not going to move until news comes out?" It's because volume is VERY low when there's no hype about this stock. Like the last few months. We'll see a huge reversal of that when they have something to show. GLTA...

Good post kilerb. Good news WILL make it run to .001. I truely believe that Sandy is working out a deal with a US carrier. WHY would'nt a carrier be interested? I personally think it will be with a satellite provider. When that news does come, which it will, it will go to penny land. I know.....everyone has heard the same spill that I am making at this time. We have a product! Most pinks are very unclear what their goal is....Such as "we have a letter of intent..." or "We are activley seeking..blah,blah, blah. I am by no means a pumper I just believe, one day soon, we will all wish we would have bought more at these levels.
Of course this is all only my opinion.

the charts cant predict anything on BKMP..no matter what indicators. im not saying it never WILL it just hasnt in a LONG TIME.
the thing is here and what makes me so close to selling is we are BKMP...NOT tfn
if this stock was 100% TFN then id be as happy as a virgin on prom night. we are stuck...and this whole "all we need is a PR on US carriers" is not the answer. in my opinion we need...of course volume..MASSIVE volume to move a what...13 billion O/S? thats another thing...where is the PR on the buyback of shares? why hasnt there been a PR on our divy? we still cant do anything with it.
im sure good news is coming from TFN, and its too bad BKMP only owns 20%..however in the future with massive revenue 20% of TFN is a gold mine.
now...so who sits in between TFN and BKMP?

Well, I'm glad 99% of the board members agree with the fact that charts are pretty meaningless in this case.

The 10000:1 PFDS were issued to protect the company/share-holders from illegal NSS activity....
For example, read below how another company is taking on the Broker/MM problem of NSS....they too may issue dividends to ameliorate this issue.....
SSSU - Silver Screens Studios: Receives NOBO List and Transfer Agent's Official Shareholders Total NOBO List Share Discrepancy:
We have received and reviewed the NOBO List as supplied by ADP as well as the Transfer Agent's Official Share total. There is a discrepancy of 102,767,486 share imbalance between the two lists. For further confirmation of our share total we have ordered the DTC Share Position Report and expect to have it in the next several days. Once we have the DTC Report we will compare all reports and update the imbalance total.
Shareholders Integrity Plan:
Now that we have identified a share imbalance in our stock we will move forward on the Shareholders Integrity Plan. The board of directors will meet on Oct. 20, 2006 to authorize actions to implement the SIP for the protection of our shareholders. Measures we are considering include: a CUSIP number change, share exchange, dividend declaration and other measure designed to protect the company.

I believe 90% of the people here think lesson 5 is very relevant to the BKMP message board.....
Lesson 5: Bashers know YOU CAN'T VERIFY THEIR STATEMENTS. That's why they make the vague statements they do. They rely on you being too lazy to research their droppings other than to scan the board for others opinions. This is particularly dangerous when you consider that Bashers work in packs and often validate and back up each others nonsense with what appears to be "innocuous and unsolicited" verification by comrade Bashers. Let's face it, we are all conditioned to "believe" everything we see in writing. If others by virtue of their "posts" also confirm this belief, then we are subconsciously doomed to swallow the hook, line and sinker...
This is why I choose to watch the charts...they factually document the activity of the trading day and give insight as to what is taking place.....

I don't listen to bashers or watch charts. I've seen enough action with BKMP to know what moves it. Let's face it, you've been telling us why the chart is ready to spring for months now. This will NEVER happen without news. I've never seen it uptick without something going on PR'wise... Meanwhile, some guy on Ihub posted yesterday that they're going to R/S. We know this isn't true. I read that and didn't even reply to it. What's the point? All it will do is make him post more BS. Sandy said it won't, and I believe that. Bashers are morons. I mean with the volume as low as it was today, what the hell are they trying to do? It's a pointless waste of time. However, on the other side of that argument, I've never seen charts make anything happen with BKMP either. I've been in since it was FCDH and it moves when there's news. That's it folks.
So I'm glad we at agree on one thing Rasica. Bashers suck. Almost as bad as pumpers that bash jussssst a little bit in hopes to bring the price down to buy more. I hate them the most!!! GLTA!!!
