It does not matter if it is a trillion, a googol or a googolplex of shares...
How do preferred shares respond to moves in the common stock? If a large drug company discovered a cure for the common cold, the common stock would go through the roof in anticipation of the tens of billions of dollars the shareholders expect to earn in the future. At the same time, the company's preferred shares probably wouldn't budge much in price. The preferred shareholders would have missed out on the huge capital gains, albeit while collecting dividend checks. If, two weeks later, the company announced that the cure is not effective, the common stock would plummet. What happens to the company's preferred shareholders? Not much as long as the business is still making the respective dividend payments, they haven't lost a dime. If, however, the investor had owned convertible preferred shares in this scenario, the price of convertible "percs", as they're known, would have experienced a tremendous rise and fall based on the expected profit an investor could have realized by converting his shares into common stock. As long as the holder of the preferred did not convert his shares or acquire more preferred at the inflated price, he would experience no loss of principal. (Perhaps now is the time to repeat the old Wall Street maxim, "never convert a convertible stock".)

relent, from what I read they will not be issuing pref. shares. It said common immediately tradable shares. Must be on hell of a split to be able to do that. I passed this one up but am taking another look.

Actually I think it did say preffered shares but tradable and convertable. I don't remember off hand what kind of conversion rate was offered if any.

Preferred shares "on the market?" Is this a trick question? I don't care what the PR says, they will not be on the market. There will be a conversion process and it should be revealed in future PRs.

You can't trade stocks with a par value of .00000000x. The PR will be clarified. YES it is trillions of preferred shares that have to be converted. If you will just make a trip to the PAIM thread and ask a few people about their divi, you will see what it is all about.

Unless you have an existing "wire transfer agreement" with your bank you will have to be physically present to have one executed. The "Patriot Act" requires banks to have your signature and valid photo ID (drivers license, passport etc.) each time a wire transfer is executed......

Yes... and look at the O/S. PAIM just cleaned up their structure. There are some depressed people over there, because PAIM is on a dip, but when that stock drops back into the .000's I am going to load up for the big Gold news that is coming toward the end of the year. That is no scam.

looks like a somewhat painful process. You’d have to really like what this company is doing to be in bed with them for about 6 to 9 months. And then the conversion process - which I'm still learning about- is a whole process in itself.

With that spite and fear of numbers in mind I say we figure atleast half of these preferred shares will be converted and sold as common stock within atleast a week.. maybe two. Lets assume the company allows a conversion of one to ten thousand.. This would mean the OS goes up by twenty five percent in two weeks.. Is that good or bad?
