Im not familiar with how splits work but would it be in their interest to reverse split the value up to the $15 range at merger time and kick off the new symbol in that price range? Major newbie question there but im still hesitant to think im going to be semi rich off of my first real short term investment.

I would be terrified of a split if he would not have came right out and said "there will be no split's at this time" on radio last week. Just for those who weren't able to listen.

no prob, cassity...that's exactly why we provide attribution...
Obviously, a company can have an MM working for them...so maybe it's that simple...

Just got off the phone with rufous the dufous.. We are getting $21 a share as it stands right now... looks like management has finally decided to give us the best deal for buying early.. he also said that if the current pps of 0.265 doubles and he gets rid of his shares, he would offer $42 a share for all the remaining shareholders!!!! i am not selling my shares for anything less than $42 a share...

Ya know the BIG question here is, IF after the merger, FHAL is worth anything above what we are seeing today, how fast will it drop due to sells? No matter what we get for this merger i expect serious profit taking. Will Etrade be right on top of the game and allow me instant access to the new shares or will i have a delay? I see a high profit here for the current holders of FHAL but I can see a potential problem at the moment of the ticker change.
Alas, i intend to call Etrade tomorrow and discuss this with them. I will also ask to speak with a broker and see if there is any insight to this 8k we are all bedazzled by. This is what we pay these companies for right? I will see what i can learn in that avenue and post my results.

Tex the reason I posted, was a lot of people made the comment that this was moving a lot on low volume. Maybe them buying the float, causes it to move more quckly. Dunno for sure, JMO.

Grrr RM, you silly silly man. You forgot something if you were speaking with the dog. A $7 stock is only valued at $1 in dog money. Everyone knows that!

Oh my God, no!!!! I just called and finally got through to Rufus. I asked him if it was true that we were getting $15 a share and he said "yes". I nearly pissed myself! But just as i was about to get some tissues, he added, "if you're a CVSU shareholder."
I told him I owned FHAL and he said that if that's the case, then there is NO increase in share price!!! In fact, they are planning a reverse split for the FHAL shares to get them up to $15, so that they match the value of the existing CVSU shares!!!!
Can you believe this ****? Oh my God, what are we going to do?!!!!"Posts: 1091 | From: Brugge, Belgium / Dallas TX USA | Registered: May 2006

Crap, unfortunately this looks to be the most likely scenario. For once it kinda makes sense. Reverse split the FHAL to match the more valuable ticker and then combine them. It makes perfect sense to me. I dont think it will HURT us as FHAL holders but it does put a pinch on that house and ferrari.

Join Date: May 2006 Location: Elk Grove, California Posts: 1,052 talked to rufus, finally got through, it was hard to type as fast as he was talking because of the corporate mumbo jumbo, i tried to copy the main phrases in there at the beginning and then got lost cuz i was asking him to go over a few things again.
the pps change will happen upon completion of the filing, f4 registration under the merger affect of registration and resulting decision of merger are the share as of the date will either be purchased at 15/share from shareholders, pps will be reset at 15 or will (kinda got lost here, when i asked for him to repeat he said it says it right in the 8k, guys remember where that abc $15 thing was? someone post that please over) reason why: CVSU shares are at like $30 (I think he said) and the CVSU shareholders are very mad that they are even going as low as $15. one of the 3 options from the 8k are going to be taken into action. CVSU shares are not released into the market yet, and they have to wait until the FHAL changes to CVSU. there will be NO HOLD of trading (oh ****, i just reliazed i forgot to ask him about the record date ****) and the date as i have on the title is correct, the 28th. on the 28th, the FHAL shares will turn into CVSU shares, and thus dillute the previous FHAL shares with the CVSU shares a little bit. i specifically asked him why they would change the pps so drastically and like he said, the cvsu shareholders were actually going down and pissed about the drop in pps (which is why they were trying to buy back the cvsu shares from shareholders i think, to have them come back into the cvsu market after the change so they dont destroy their shareholder base, but im guessing on why they tried to buy back didnt ask him). he also said that they are in the business to make money, and to do that they are going to have to start at a respectable PPS.
DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT buy based on what i am saying here. HE COULD BE, im NOT saying he is but COULD BE as you all said, a scammer and tricking us into buying in and then he leaves the country but that is very doubtful IMO.
I SUGGEST you call him, he is VERY intelligent he throwing my brain into a maze with financial terms and rules. PLEASE call him.

Hmmm, well at the very least couldnt they answer the original question of what control i would have over my shares as they convert to the new ticker? Im a control freak, im not crazy about the idea of having no control over my shares for "some period" of time. Way to go, now you ruined a whole night of sleep for me!!

Ok, understood. I wont get my hopes up but a quick call to see what, if any, help they could offer wouldnt hurt i guess. I need to discuss with them the ticker change and things anyway because i know in one of the documents it suggested getting paper copies. Of course one doc said CVSU people needed them and the other said FHAL. I wouldnt bother calling but this game of playing with $100s is now in the $1000s and the reason i initially got in (log contract) hasnt even happened yet! Im VERY new at this so id like to cover my buns completely if possible.

I would have asked as well but somehow i think there would be no answer to the call. I would be surprised if he is just sitting around all day taking calls. If it looks like a fish and it smells like a fish....it just stinks.

Please forgive me, I've had 6 hrs of sleep over the last three days..
I don't think they trade on the free market... CVSU is an invalid symbol it says here (otcbb.com and other quote websites)
