Green, don't stress, the Par Value means absolutely nothing to shareholders. It has no monetary value (much like that Pop Tart coupon you might have for 25 cents off and at the bottom it says it has a cash value of 1/20th of a cent). The Par Value is used in Accounting (a balance sheet item) and the company records on it's books a value that multiplies this Par Value times the current number of outstanding shares. It has no bearing on us investors.

Calm down GD what you missing is the definition of par value, additionally just because the ticker shows 0.0001 now does not in any way mean that it is opening there.

Darn I tried to buy in on CSHC.PK but Scottrade couldn't find a bid or ask. Thought it might be the geek play of a lifetime. Instantly go from .0001 to $15. Oh my.

I just went into Scottrade, and I have .0001 across the board, with a date of 5/12/2006. FHAL is still basically as it was at close. Guessing that symbol is just old given the date, but odd the price was the same as that par value...FWIW

I owe someone an appology... http://www.cusip.com/ does have a scrolling banner on the bottom of their home pace and that banner is of pertinent dynamic information. Litterally, "NEW CUSIP NUMBERS ASSIGNED TODAY".
I would have never have guessed that a professional site would do such a thing.
