I calculate that PAIM has dumped 4.5B shares in the last 5 trading days. They said 2 weeks ago that they were going to sell 5B shares in order to raise $1.5M US for mining expenses. I think they are still under 1M, but they recieved 500M shares of PYCT which they also dumped. Sorry PYCT guys.

I think 97% of the trades in the last 5 days were from PAIM selling treasury shares.
State of Emergency Lifted in Philippines 21 minutes ago
MANILA, Philippines - President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo lifted a week-old state of emergency on Friday, after her security advisers assured her that the threat of a coup has eased.

Shortly before Arroyo made the annnouncement in a nationally televised address, two explosions hit near a police station and a shopping complex in a Manila suburb, but police said no one was hurt.
"I am happy to report that we have dismantled the sabotage efforts," Arroyo said. "I strongly believe that law and order has returned."
Arroyo declared the emergency last Friday to quash a coup plot allegedly involving disgruntled soldiers, communist rebels and civilian backers. On Thursday, the defense, justice and police chiefs said they would recommend lifting the decree because the situation was normalizing.
"It is important for our political opponents and the opportunists to stop this nuisance to our economy and embarassment to the Philippines caused by these useless charades," Arroyo said.
Opposition and civil activists have warned that political freedoms were being eroded.
Authorities have filed criminal charges against at least 51 opposition members, military personnel and others for trying to overthrow the president. They include five left-wing lawmakers who sought refugee at the House of Representatives and refused to be interviewed by police.

What's good is the possiblility to make some money over the next few weeks. The company may or may not be legit... but they have claimed to have mines with huge amounts of gold and at least announced a huge forward dividend payment set for March 17th. The hopes are that this things runs before that date. This stock is the gamble of all gambles... don't buy in with money you cannot afford to lose.
