NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 17, 2006--Great West Gold, Inc. (OTCBB:GWGO - News) confirms that it will be filing a Form 8 - K in respect of the acquisitions of the "Treasure King" Gold Mining Project, the Copper Mountain Copper Mining Project and the "Yaba" Gold Mining Project in Yavapai County, Arizona. ADVERTISEMENT
The Company undertook that it would file this Form 8-K on March 16, 2006 and undertook to its shareholders that should this filing be delayed and not filed on March 16, 2006 for whatsoever reason, shareholders will be informed without delay.
The Company is unable to file the Form 8-K until Monday March 20, 2006 due to numerous third party agreements contained in this filing. The approval of these third parties is required prior to this filing being made and the Company is awaiting certain of these approvals. This is a mere formality but is a legal requirement and the Company apologises to its shareholders for this delay but is of the opinion that it is unable to file before that date. Monday will be decisive. Hopefully Fridays PR hold will have grabbed some peoples attention over the weekend and it will gap on Monday. If we get some other bogus PR or lack of PR on Monday I'm out.
I don't think this will be the case though, big PR coming!!!

Can't wait till Monday. I was able to add to my position last week so in hindsight I'd have to say I'm glad the press release didn't come out. The PR should give details of GWGO latest purchases AND how the dividends are going to work. The amounts/percentages and the dates.

I'm in this...but I think I will give it this week to actually do something...I'm riding on free shares...so it isn't major to me...I would assume it does take time to get all of these things filed...I wish you all luck...

Stocks down to .0010 which is not necessarily a bad thing as I'm trying to buy more here. Just can't seem to get my order filled.
IMO...a few days from now we'll be laughing and saying what were we worried about? No press release, late presss release, press release about a press release.

Has anyone recieved any of the ADR's?? In particular one of the first five: Windsor, Sentinel, Golden Eagle, Ambassador, or Copperstone? I hope they will give us CONCRETE dates for each one, including the lastest two, Treasure King and Yaba Gold and Silver.

The last word I received is the we would receive the ADR's from the first five Co's no later than April 14. This was from a reply to an e-mail I sent Great West last month. I don't know about the latest ones.

casviper...yes, I received the divys from the first 5. It was a 25% stock dividend. No Problem. Everything went smoothly and on the date announced. I'm expecting the same type of thing this go around although I'm not sure of how much. May only be 10% (for the 2) compared to 25% (for the first 5). We'll have to wait and see.
Hmmm, as of 12:55 my additional buy order hasn't been filled. I'm trying to get more * .0010 but no sellers.

JARW...no, the order is still open. It's been there a couple of days now so in essence I'd say that's a good thing. I think .0010 is one of those psychological limits for a lot of folks but I'd like to buy more at that level.

Better be today. On Friday they said it would been released on Monday, nothing on Monday (like the release will be delayed until Tuesday). If they don't release it soon, they'll have a bunch of pi$$ed off shareholders!!!

no doubt about that!!! Today should be the day --- only when is the question!!! I'm pretty sure they wont come out with a PR about a PR to be released... if they do i'm out ... can't take much more stupidity or delays anymore!

the delay doesn't really bother me. sure it's annoying, but it doesn't worry me at least. i know they are making excuses, but the 3rd party excuse makes sense to me...

agreed, but with a team of professionals and a specific date set, and reset and reset and possibly to be reset again --- gives me a little to think about -- i'm not worried, all i'm thinking is, that if they shoudl release another PR about a PR to come out --- then i could see this stock trading under .001 for a while... thus i'd rather get out at .0011-.0012 and buy back in at .0009 0r so... then again... i'm awaiting the news about the dividends as well... so.... i may not even do that . .... who knows... just post the friggen 8K and the dividend news

Funny how we will wait a year for a stock to go from $50.00 to $100.00 but can't wait a week for a PR to come out which could cause a stock to go from .0010 to ?. With the dividends and all the recent news I'll wait it out. Agreed it's a little annoying to wait but look at the big picture and the potential returns on a minimal investment. The precious metals market has been hot the last 6 months and does anyone really think China will stop growing and using Copper like crazy or India will stop liking Gold?

yeah but lets get serious this is the penny market... stocks can go from 1 cent to .0001 over night and remain there until the company does a reverse split 2yrs later or decides to change names etc etc... it's not a 50 dollar stock!!! And for your reference i've held this stock for over 1 yr now... initially bought on 16 March 2005

I agree, and no, we're not in this to make 8% a year. I think it's worth holding until we see the 8-k though then reevaluate. My opinion...

Well i could see this thing tank a little should they publish another pr about a pr!!! I'm hoping that the actual 8K will be published today as they haven't posted a pr aber further delays yet and usually tend to do so in the morning hours the following day (which would have been this morning) so i'm guessing we may actually see the so long awaited PR today sometime!
