Doc...congrats to Pitt!!! Last night I posted in response to a crazy post from Pital against BuyTex...and stated I had only primarily been scammed by Frank. The reason for that statement was regarding misleading PR's, unfulfilled promises, over-stated value of assets, market manipulation versus the actual reality of his dilution...and the list continues...
But I must state that the company continues to grow at record pace...I only hope us longs get to reap some of the benefits of our helping to grow the company. I want to thank you and Imak for your trip to the studios. I value and respect your word and input...I feel I might actually get to reap some of those benefits in time.
And, btw, hello Sam and Chris...I hope we ALL are rewarded.

Myspace is for entertainment, while facebook is obviously for networking. I would agree the high school crowd on myspace is all about popularity, but would disagree (and this is the only reason I am responding publically) that that applies to the millions of us on myspace who are beyond our college years. I use it to keep up with music and entertainment. I think Q could soar on there if it caught on, as the word would spread quickly that way. Also, Facebook doesn't allow videos and personalization? Q needs those things for self promotion. I think maybe we are agreeing, but I wasn't sure so I thought I'd respond just incase.

It's just that the common theme that I noticed was-->
In High School, MySpace was insanely popular...but, as soon as we got to college, we switched to facebook...
But, I never really used MySpace all that much...
Yeah, I just meant... from what I've seen, those who used to be really into MySpace moved on to Facebook...
Facebook is keeping their numbers in check and not letting random people sign up like MySpace does... you have to be invited (for High School) or have a valid college email to use the facebook service...
I, personally, like it a lot better than MySpace, as MySpace is becoming way too ad-based and too filled with annoying entertainment areas... (videos on your profile)... Facebook also doesn't allow you to change your background, so users don't have to be greeted with a "goth" format when they look at a friend...
And, News Corp now owns MySpace, that's something to keep in mind...

i want a dish deal so i can watch my investment grow.
im hoping we see something in the next couple of months.
and i think Dish would give us the most subscriptions. it can reach everyone in the US and is a great way for the GLBT population that are not in the few selected areas that are covered by cable companies that carry Q
and for those that are of the GLBT but dont want it publicly known, Dish is a much more anonymous way to subscribe. no local people working in the office to tell someone who knows someone that so and so has subscribed.
it is not a large problem but im sure that is one thing that someone that doesnt want to be out would think about.
its coming i can feel it.
Dish is still stating they are in negotiations.
Bring it on, we are ready.

I got notice of a minor "examination" recently due to an error by the IRS. They misread an amended 1099 as an additional 1099 and wanted me to pay double taxes. It took only a few minutes by phone to fix the problem ... but while correcting the problem, they "discovered" additional minor errors that took several months and considerable work to settle.
We have to get a simplified tax system. When Steve Forbes ran for President, he pushed for a flat tax that would have required only a post card to file your taxes each year.
It will take me about two solid weeks to file my taxes this year. Seems like such a waste of my time.

MM If I remember correctly, Steve Forbes wanted the flat tax to result in about the same tax paid by most people ... rich and poor ... but the filing process would have been so much easier. Two problems, however: no one knew what tax rate would end up doing that, and no one knew which deductions would survive the cut. And I know the tax preparation/accounting lobbyists were working double time to stop simplifying the system.

I like the "fair tax" proposal out. Sort of an ammended national sales tax. Everyone gets back the amount of tax you would spend on the bare essentials (so as to not be as regressive), other than that it is straight tax on all goods and services.

HT This also appears to be a more "reasonable" tax than what we have now. But then, just about any tax system would be better than what we have now.

I cant see how you can sell CMKX but you can still sell Q.
I would like to know the math or algorythim they use to come up with those numbers.

CMKX cannot be traded....it doesn't exist, thus the low risk(and outdated info).....however, QBID can be traded, and has an extremely high risk, as defined here: http://nasdaq.riskgrades.com/clients/nasdaq/edu_course.cgi Very simple.....100 billion shares in the A/S....an unknown number in the O/S, but high enough to determine that it cannot move...1 billion traded daily now...supply and demand....GLTA

There's no way to predict what this will do. A R/S would probably help matters but who knows.
