Marty,

Thanks for the reply, but I saw that someone posted another response allegedly from you as well. It read that there was a transaction in the works for the purchase of the studios to be completed this month? Can you confirm this?

Thanks,

Mike

Q Television is on a long term rental which may end in the network purchasing Media City. Q television is responsible for financial obligations in operating the facility.

To Whom It May Concern,

I was wondering if Media City Studios are owned and operated by Q Television Network (or the network’s parent company). Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

Michael M

Hi all. I’ve been lurking. MJM2005 I want to thank you for the above DD. IMO this is important and positive. We have many “arm chair CEO’s” on Allstocks, me included. I’m going to attempt to offer my version of analysis and logic. From my window on Q’s universe, this is what I see:

Frank will do whatever he has to do to keep his dream alive and make it successful. Will he take advantage of the shareholders? IMO, Frank will only do that as a last resort. MJM2005’s above DD tells me that we are not at that point yet.

Q is in a long-term lease with a purchase agreement of the Burbank Studios. The way I read the above from MJM2005, is that Frank has negotiated a sale/leaseback of the studios. This would give Q a cash infusion while still leasing the studio. This would be transparent, an interesting word, to Q’s operation of the studio. Q’s leasing costs will, in all probability, go up, but still manageable. The new monthly lease costs are dependent upon the new agreement.

QTN is centered in the middle of the GLBT community with a disposable annual income in excess of $600 Billion. IMO, there would be a number of investors who would love to invest in Q. That is why I believe Frank has developed a few avenues of new investor infusion to the company, the sale/leaseback being the only one we are aware of. To cultivate new investors, and their agreements, takes time. We are on the outside looking in with bits and pieces of what is really going on. MJM2005’s DD brings to light some of the work that has been going on behind the scenes. I would venture a guess that Frank will have a few directions to choose from. He might take more than one and spread the potential risk if one later drops out.

Obviously, Q has been in a financial squeeze since the passing of the investor. Many upstart companies have had their version of this, some fail while others survive. Although we are not profitable, we are getting much closer. We are an expanding company with new revenue streams not yet on line. These are: Verizon, QTN Mobil, Selectv and more. The 90-day non-revenue from new regions will be up in the first week of March for San Diego and Houston with Lincoln and Raleigh soon to follow. I would also “believe” that with the Gay Games just a few months away, we would see a number of other carrier regions offering Q.

The employee cutback or layoff would be a typical move by any company in a cash crunch. We are not in a heavily indebted company with a contracting revenue base. Just look at the airline industry since 9/11. If I was in Franks position when this all happened, I too would have cut the payroll to the bone. Then when the investor/financial situation rectifies, I would rehire some while being very mindful of my labor costs.

I do fault Frank for his lack of communication and transparency. I believe Frank has spread himself too thin and needs to find a top-notch industry professional to run QTN. Many companies, like Q, grow beyond their founders’ ability to run it all.

Q will now have to do a lot of damage control. That is part of the price for not being transparent and for not communicating. In a way, there is a silver lining. Any new investor would want a managerial shake-up, transparency and communication. Without these, many will not invest.

Yep ... I could handle that. Pretty tough to do in Ohio, though, since gambling is illegal.

According to our governor, "no one" in Ohio likes to gamble, so millions (billions?) of Ohio gambling dollars go to Michigan, West Virginia, Indiana and Pennsylvania every day.

Our governor says he is personally opposed to gambling, which makes me question his honesty immediately. By the way, he's facing impeachment for alleged "criminal activities" and for allowing a personal friend to invest government money in "rare coins" ... a friend who lost millions on his coin investments but paid himself millions for doing it. The friend is now being tried for fraud.

But the gov is protecting us by not allowing gambling. Duh? [Eek!]

Whats up with the Q trading? Is it sells or buys? I'm trying to dump a couple mil shares.

Also jen10, If Frank wasn't already trying to use people why did he say that the studio was bought last year, in a PR. That same day I called that studio and a real lady answered and said that Q was leasing tha studio. There has been considerable manipulation to date. Maybe neccessary maybe not. The less you know the better for you.

Me too ... I still like the pot odds, although I'd like them better if Frank wasn't slipping "chips" out of the pot when I'm not looking. (Poker joke ... [Big Grin] )

And no doubt the next few weeks are going to be interesting. GL to all.

Robin
I have an account at PokerStars, but I've never played there much. I like some other sites better.

My primary site is UltimateBet. I like the table view and the graphics. I play some play-money games there and lately some cheap real-money games.

I also recently started playing on BOSPoker. Nice table view and graphics, and most importantly, they offer totally free tournaments with real- money payoffs. Not big amounts, but I can use small amounts to enter much bigger real-money tournaments. Interesting site.

I also signed on to FullTilt recently, but I don't like the graphics as well.

Now for the bottomline:

Online poker is OK ... but I like to "read" the other players. I like to see them sweat when I go all-in. I like to see them squirm when I rake in a huge pot. Part of the fun of the game for me is experiencing "human misery" in person. [Big Grin]

Therefore, my wife and I play 2-4 times a week in live games. We recently joined a social club that holds a weekly tournament, we play with friends in a home tournament once or twice a week, and we play every local charity game we can find.

My wife is a recent convert from slots to Holdem, so the next time we visit Vegas, she'll probably join me in the Poker Room. We usually see each other only for breakfast and dinner, so I'm looking forward to spending more time with her when we vacation ... [Cool]

By the way, after 40 years of marriage, "going all-in" has taken on a whole new meaning for us. [Wink]

ahhahaha..Buy it when there down right?

Yeah I'm down to .0004 now. But even with good news and a run, I won't sell any. I'm in it...and when I say I'm in it, I mean I'm in it for the long haul. hehe [Big Grin]
