The answer would be nothing. They were there to obtain information that was a matter of public record and received nothing to report. Hat's off to them for trying.

GET the facts straight, we never said that we saw the books, plain and simple

I would imagine that they will not accept any more letters, after getting ours in Dec/Jan. In addition, I would also imagine that if any party were to just drop in on Burbank that they would be escorted out.

Finally, if we had signed the NDA then that would have made us insiders, we did not sign anything. Nor were we given anything plain and simple. [Big Grin]

Doc-

They are legally obligated to show any individual investor who meets the WA State criteria those numbers expressely allowed by the WA state statutes.

Secondly, I hope Frank does pull a hat trick, and soon. His PR's have made material representations about the status and health of his company--i.e worth 1-2 Billion dollars/proactive share buyback/hiring team to find out why stock is tanking. Yet we still have no audit and no guarantee any of this has happened.

And if Frank thinks there are not irate investors ready to bring down the hammer (through legal means of course), he better think twice.

I, for one, am ready, willing and able to give the benefit of the doubt for now...but only because my cost average is .00062. But even my patience is wearing thin.

The lack of investor communication and transparency is sickening.

8,000 Participants Now Committed
to 2006 Gay Games in Chicago
Some sports nearing registration capacity as Gay Games reaches
past two-thirds of participant forecast six months before opening day

CHICAGO, IL – Chicago organizers of the 2006 Gay Games announced today that they now have more than 8,000 participants from more than 30 countries committed to attending the 7th Gay Games,15-22 July 2006.

“Year-end campaigns designed to increase the number of registrations in team sports were wildly successful and the pace hasn’t slowed much since January 1,” said Brian McGuinness, Gay Games executive director. “Our registration rates to date are ahead of expectations and we may exceed our forecast of 12,000 participating athletes and artists in Chicago next July.”

McGuinness added that several sports are close to full registration and will close in coming weeks.

One sport – Sailing – has been closed for nearly a year. A second sport – Golf – has reached its capacity and registration will officially close by Friday, 3 February 2006.

“Golf registrants have been running ahead of projections since online registration opened in June of 2004,” said McGuinness, noting that there may be a wait list opened for Golf participants. “Capacity in Golf has already been increased once, and there are no more available tee times.”

Several team sports saw dramatic increases in registration during December, according to Nancy Harris, Gay Games sports director. She added that Ice Hockey may soon be closed to new registrants

“The 1998 and 2002 Gay Games in Amsterdam and Sydney each had 16 participating men’s and women’s Ice Hockey teams,” said Harris. “We already are past that with over 20 teams, and we are negotiating the addition of a sixth day of Ice Hockey competition to accommodate more teams.”

Harris said Ice Hockey teams should register within the next 30 days to ensure their participation.

Several other team sports have exceeded team registrations so significantly that the sports are close to their forecast totals now, six months from Gay Games VII opening day.

The message from the staff and board of the 2006 Gay Games couldn’t be clearer. “Register now,” said McGuinness. “If you wait, it might be too late to participate in your sport, division, or event.” Make the personal commitment today to attend one of the world’s most important events for our community and register now to secure your spot. We're going to have a full house come July!”

Registration is available online at www.gaygameschicago.org. Teams or groups of 5 or more can still save $25 per person on group registrations by contacting Gabrielle Ringquist via email at Gabrielle.Ringquist*GayGamesChicago.org or via phone at (773) 433-8027.

About Gay Games VII:
Gay Games VII Sports and Cultural Festival will take place in Chicago from 15-22 July 2006. Over 12,000 athletes from more than 100 countries will compete in 30 sports ranging from softball to ******port, swimming to tennis. The weeklong event will include band, cheerleading and colour guard performances, chorus, an ancillary arts festival, and a series of community-organised social events and parties. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 15 July at Soldier Field, the lakefront home stadium of American-style football’s Chicago Bears. Closing ceremony will be 22 July at Wrigley Field, the home of Major League Baseball’s Chicago Cubs, located in the heart of Chicago’s largest LGBT neighborhood.

For the first time, the Gay Games in Chicago will receive widespread television coverage on the Q Television Network. Global sponsors of Gay Games VII include PlanetOut/Gay.com; Q Television Network; Walgreens; Centaur Entertainment; Fleishman Hillard International Communications; Orbitz; Sydney New Mardi Gras; Chicago Sun-Times; Olivia Cruises & Resorts; Lambda Legal Defense; McKnight Kurland Baccelli; Human Rights Campaign; Chicago Free Press; Mate, Genre, Pink and Girlfriends Magazines; Windy City Media Group; and more than 120 business sponsors.

Registration for Gay Games VII is now open at http://www.GayGamesChicago.org (English), http://www.GayGamesChicago.org/es/ (Spanish), http://www.GayGamesChicago.org/fr/ (French), and http://www.GayGamesChicago.org/de/ (German).

It's too bad the NHL got their act together and are back on TV. If not, hockey junkies might have been clamoring for access to the Gay Games coverage!

just got the DVD (atlanta)... the video was very impressive. its all about the network, the shows, the studio, the hosts.... no doubt that Q is moving forward creating exciting programs and hopefully a bit of a ripple in the GLBT community. now its time for frank to continue the push forward. get some more carriers, release the audit, and maybe a buyback.

i can't say what the future holds for us but based on the DVD the network is looking great.

the DVD is exactly what they want us to see.

The reality is what we do not see. Their is chaos in this company. However, there is also much promise. Hopefully the chaos can be eliminated soooooooooon

Ok, so here's my personal problem.

I am at least one of the people who has tried to make contact with Q.

My calls aren't returned. My certified letter was returned to me unsigned for. I went to the Q office and was "walked" to the door.

I have over 100 million shares. Not that someone with 100 shares has less rights than me.

I'm willing to admit that my approach is flawed. But I would really like to know HOW to make contact and I would be happy to make another trip to Burbank.

If you want to go by some stereotypes, isn't it totally appropriate for a gay tv channel to have this much drama! [Smile]

I share your concerns. Sounds like you've done things by the book, with no results.

EDITED: I just read an earlier post by Doc that might explain what happened. So I'll delete my rambling speculations.

But please do keep us informed if you try to contact them again. I've thought about making the trip too, but I would want some assurance that I would accomplish something, since it's no easy trip from Ohio.

Right, I'm not saying conspiracy. I just think you need to hit the right combination of timing, approach and finagle factor!

I think they are being bombarded with requests for information. Sadly, they just need to release the PROMISED information and most of us peeps would quit bothering them and let them do their thing.

randy implied with a wink
"gimme a couple days"
he said how much you got in this thing?
i told him 50 grand
he said "double it"
but once again..he didnt give me specific information.. either these guys are the slickest son of a bitches around , or we might actually hit a jackpot with this stock..no joke,,just to let you know ,i saw what was going on in the studios. they have new shows coming up..
the exact day. its pretty much narrowed down to thursday , friday,or monday. heres the thing .i was there the first couple days of january .he told me give me a month.so technically ill give him that. i told you guys already.. this thread should be called give me one more week. that will get his attention *

I agree with that. I cannot see a positive reason for holding back information that "might" restore investor confidence. There is no information so bad that it's worse than the unknown.

I have seen companies report dismal financial information and recover nicely, because investors usually can deal with facts (good or bad). But most investors cannot and will not deal with the unknown.

Frank needs to hire a good political campaign manager, someone who's used to "spinning" bad news. But the bottomline is ... "spin" it and let us decide what we think.

Still positive ... but getting very impatient. [Roll Eyes]

but the main thing is...frank felt a little pressure.. i wasnt mister nice guy today. all i was looking for is to weezle a time frame out of them. the audit is for real folks.. lets not get crazy here.. i know after the enron thing u never know... but this is 100% for real . and i have seen solid evidence to assume that frank will bring the share price up..thats the bottom line. hes not screwing us. yay . when i asked him are u buying back shares . he said i cant answer that. but being that i play hold em, im 99% sure that i saw a yes through his heart. so there ya go..the meat and potatoes. u guys are lucky i have so much money on this thing that i have to drive down there. god bless

I'm through with ETRADE.

Just got off the phone with them after a 4 hour call, 3 of them (literally) on hold.

They will not give me any free trades or compensation for my buys that didn't go through at .0001 when everyone else's who is using scottrade or ameritrade did.

Their stance is they use GVR (which he told me is their own market maker, basically stands for etrade) and will only reroute if you call in.

I told them I was upset because I was told I would get the fastest possible trades/execution when I signed up and that is not the case. He simply replied that i could take my business elsewhere but unless i called in to reroute my trades they would always go thru GVR.

Now how am i suppose to know this when i don't get level II's and they don't disclose it? They wouldn't even give me a couple free trades. I bought 10 million shares at .0002 b/c they wouldn't fill at .0001 which cost me an extra grand! Thats twice as much!!!

Sorry for ranting but I had to get this off my chest...I am pretty upset about the whole mess.

In the long run that costs a lot of money, paying double for it...Etrade needs to get with the program. They just lost another customer.
