Based in Toronto and called The Fight Network, this new Canadian venture is the brainchild of Mike Garrow and had its official launch Friday, Oct. 21. As is often the case with great Canadian ideas, the notion for an all-fighting network was first conceived over post-hockey beers between Garrow and his pals.
"None of us could understand why somebody hadn't done it yet," Garrow explained, "so we figured why not?"
With Garrow on point and friend Sandy Winick taking care of the financial details, they set out to see if it could be done. The further they looked the more excited they became and, as of Oct. 21, the first all fight network in North America will be on the air. Broadcasting an ambitious schedule of recent live events and the taped catalogues of various promotions, The Fight Network will augment its lineup with martial
Garrow points to his Fight Network crew as a great supporting cast. Guys like co-founder Sandy Winick. Brian Sobie. Brad "The Crippler" Sagman. Chad Midgley. And Andrea McCarthy.
"That's the band," said Garrow. "I had a passion to get this done ... and in a lot of cases, I didn't go looking for them, they approached me. In order to have anything grow, you need a core nucleus. Everybody comes up with ideas. These people are hungry to do this."

Just a little FYI to Ameritrade accounts looking for their divi's:
-----Original Message----- From: APEX Client Services [mailto:apexclientservices*ameritrade.com] Sent: Monday, January 09, 2006 5:21 PM To: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Reorganization and Dividends (KMM29838556I20725L0KM)
Mr. Kilburn,
We have not received the allocation from the Depository Trust Company regarding the spinoff of SNYY shares. We anticipate that the dividend should post in the next few days.
Preliminary information indicates one restricted share of Suncrest Energy Inc. for every 6 shares First Canadian American Holdings for record holders of December 21, 2005.
Jeff B. Apex Reorganization and Safekeeping, Ameritrade Division of Ameritrade, Inc.
one article says sandy winick is a "friend" of garrow, and he is handling the financial side of the business while garrow, who came up with the original idea, creates the network.
hard to believe they just launched oct 21st and already are getting so much attention! i like it!

What is really making this move the last couple days? Just the symbol change? Anyone still think we may see a decline once the SNYY hits accounts?

Look for Super League to make its (Exclusive Canadian) debut on the Network in the coming weeks. Check out www.superleague.tv for more details on this promotion.
On the MMA front we have also picked up a very in-depth documentary on a day in the life of one of Pride FC's great heavyweights Antonio "Minotauro" Nogueira which is set to debut on Sat Jan 14th at 1pm and, 5pm EST. For more air dates check out www.thefightnetwork.com
I would also like to take this time to thank all you fans that call and email us daily about when is The Fight Network going to be in more areas... well I do have some good news...Your "Television" providers are getting the message and we (The Fight Network) are currently wrapping up a series of carrier deals we will announce very shortly then email all of you who subscribe to the newsletter additional launch dates for various markets as soon as we are set to go!
So lets keep the pressure on them and remember it is you the consumer who has the power to tell them what you want to watch!
So if you want to see "ALL FIGHTS, ALL THE TIME." then keep calling toll free in (Canada) 1-866-396.0003 and tell them you want to Get...The Fight Network On!

I would be surprised to see a drop in PPS for BKMP when the divvi's hit our accounts. I would not be surprised to see SNYY PPS drop a little.
SNYY is an odd stock, though It moves north and south on hardly any volume.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if SNYY dropped a lot. Probably even a lot moreso around next January around the 5th or so right before we can have it! Heheheh... Only time will tell.

I hope so. I heard this stuff before from QBID. IMO BKMP has way more on the ball than QBID ever did. Just one carrier such as Direct TV, DISH or something similar and this thing could really take off.

WHAT DOES EVOLUTION HAVE TO SAY ABOUT DRINKING BEER OR GREY GOOSE, WHILE WATCHING THE FIGHTS?
Well you see, it's like this.
A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.
In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.
And that, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Guys...Look I am not blowing smoke or just dreaming but I believe if this baby takes off in the good ole U.S.A. like I think it will, along with other business ventures, it could realistically go .20 - .40. I believe there are 250 millionish people in the U.S. If only 5 million people subscribed to TFN at....lets say 2.50 a month. Thats $12,500,000 per month income. How many companies can say they take in that much revenue per month.
Any thoughts? or am I way off?

andrew: Heres my two cents worth. At last I knew BKMP does not control all of TFN. But for speculation lets say it does. Last I new BKMP had an O/S of about 4B shares. Some one correct me if I am wrong. Now with $12,500,000.00 per month. That would give BKMP $150,000,000.00 a year. Now with an O/S of 4B that would give them a worth of .0375 per share. Thats it.

Hey andrew, I noticed that you referred to me as an "idiot" in a different thread. I'd rather not respond to you here and take this subject off topic so why don't you open up your p/m option and we can discuss it?

Scottrade is still showing FCDH# with a value as of Friday's close. Didn't move yesterday, and probably will not again. I can track BKMP though I cannot sell without going thru a broker.
