......Thanks for doing it! It has been funny at times seeing how some folks talk about "the gays" as if there was this monolithic group of two headed aliens that we hoped liked to watch tv......

(I snipped stuff out here - L)

You mean they aren't!?!? You probably think they even have color TVs too!

Next thing I know you are going to try and tell me they have jobs, families, and drive cars!!

Pssst if anyone takes me seriously about this... all I can say is get a clue [Big Grin]

I haven't been keeping up too much with the board but the little I have is negative, If your in this and staying might as well focus on positive and what our target price is......how undervalued it is...not how Frank is a crook...blah blah blah.....
So what should our pps. be at if traders didn't lose the faith and we have 60 bil. O/S, and lets say the co. is worth 1/2 billion which is rediculous, but what should the pps. be right now? And what will it be when the audit is complete? Any guesses?

And on that note, I need a suggestion for the quick and dirty solution to recording Q for others. If I can work it out I will even make DVDs for people that are interested. I assure you I am faster at that than Frank has been. Of course, I probably need permission from them but maybe now, I need to check into the legality issue.

I will be in Houston over Xmas and will try and get my ultra conservative family to subscribe for a month so I can see it. I will have my laptop there and my camcorder. Plus my moms pc. However, no TV cards and no DVD recorders (non pc versions) there.

I am thinking I can either:

1. Tap in to the TV with my camcorder and then throw it on my laptop and Nero it to DVD
2. Go buy a cheap TV card for my Moms pc and run a cable to it. Then network it to my laptop and Nero it. Yes, she is still on dial up...
3. Go buy a cheap DVD recorder (stand alone) from somewhere and just return it before I come home.

Any other quick and dirty ideas? Too bad its not coming to my house as this would be a no brainer. Home is all setup for this sort of issue already.

Anyway, I dont mind burning a bunch for people on request to spread the word and the content around some. I would suspect Q would see this as free advertising, but who knows. I would have to charge at least DVD/shipping charges would be the only hang up.

I know I have seen people tape shows and do the same on various TV message boards with the full knowledge of the studio without recourse. They normally have either asked for blank media sent to them first with prepaid return postage included or have charged the basic price of a full retail priced blank tape/disc + shipping.

I am not looking to make money on this, I am just trying to make sure it doesnt cost me money personally to share the information.

If anyone has any ideas I will see what I can do, or if someone that actually lives in an area that gets it wants to do it for us that would work too. I know I would be interested in a couple of hours of programming thrown on a DVD to see.

Boy I remember my first drunk as a teenager hahaha
I was probably 15 at the time. Walking down an old blacktop road to Valley Lake to fish for the day. Alongside the road, lying in the ditch was 4 little pony Miller's still in the pack. And hot! So curious and rebellious as I was, I picked them up and drank each one before I got to the lake. Yeah, talk about bird nests', I had plenty that day. hahaha

No offense, but that is a bunch of crap. Logo isn't really geared towards the gay community and Here! runs the same thing over and over and over and over and over (you get the picture).

QTN could be a massive success. All you need to do is look to management to see why it is loser (as far as the stock goes anyway).

The fact that these carriers continue to bring Q on in large markets suggests that there is NOT too much gay tv.

Yes, give them 100,000 shares and a months sub. Maybe they will learn that the gay sub-culture is like all other sub-cultures and that everyone belongs to a sub-culture. Their new found information will dispell their fear. You don't have to agree with others, but you should respect those you don't agree with.

Gaotrman. Thats not a good scenario, I hope it isn't the case. Right now its hard to consider us being of any concern profitabilty wise.

Perhaps the carriers were not shown, or do not care about share structure and Frank knows we will be. I still beleive that he has it somehow set up to be first in line when the company sells and that he will end up with well more money than the 53% he owns would otherwise give him. This could be easily done if the prefered he owns has cumulative dividends and they are significant. The scenario I see could be QTN sells, the owed dividends are paid on the the preferred shares and very little is left over. Parinoid? Perhaps.

I definitely don't think it is all lost. But I wouldn't say I was excited either LOL.

The company is making good strides. I think they will come out with the audit, but I also think that (hopefully) they are too busy trying to build the network to worry about us too much right now. If they keep adding markets, and keep making deals, I believe we will make some money.

I feel mean today and will be glad to kick those nuts for free. LOL and no offense intended.

Seriously now, Frank started this show, Frank knows it better than anyone. Separate QTV progress from the stock action. If Frank has a finger in this stock price decline then that should be addressed separately. Perhaps if Frank did get involved in the stock price then perhaps that act was innocent on his part as to the outcome of the price.

Speaking for my own situation I will say that I entered into this full knowing the possible outcomes.

Presently I'm in a averaging down mode and will probably ride the roll-a-coaster (seems all down hill, screamin' as we go) back in to the station. This may be right in the plan of those in control of the stock price today but that's my plan.

QBID, this is just the circle of death that Ford is getting themselves into. The same circle that so many of us have seen before---the belief that cutting jobs helps companies.

It may in fact help the company stay afloat, but in the long run, it does more damage than good--to both the economy and the company.

I don't know, but I think it's the overall sentiment people reserve for Ford. I hate to be rude, but when I think of Ford I think cheap. Now, Honda has cars that are inexpensive, but they are known for building cars that last...so their demand is high. (I happen to dislike Hondas too, but that is just me...I've seen too many people put the huge mufflers and "street race-ify" their cars).

When Ford can finally correct this, then they will start making money. I think they've gotten back on the right foot with cars such as the Thunderbird and the Mustang. However, this company image continues to hurt them. A friend of mine lives in NYC, and he was looking to buy a new car. He wanted to look at the Aviator (by Lincoln, a Ford brand)...but his father didn't like that the car looked like a "drug dealer's" car. Instead they went and purchased the new Volvo SUV. It's this type of brand-image associations that are hurting sales. However, a close friend back home in NJ, offers a better story. He's my age and drives a new Range Rover. In addition to that car, his family own a Mercedes S55, Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, and I think I few others. However, they decided to add a new Thunderbird and new GTO to this collection later on. Now, I think that a turnaround point for Ford should be fairly soon, but they really need to start working on a new business plan.

Just my 2 cents...and felt bored [Big Grin]
