FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Q TELEVISION NETWORK EXPANDS DISTRIBUTION WITH SAN DIEGO LAUNCH
Groundbreaking GLBT Premium Network Available for Purchase by Cox Communications Customers Dec. 7
BURBANK, CA - December 6, 2005 -Q Television Network (OTCBB Other: QBID) today announced the launch of QTN on Cox Communications' San Diego cable system. Beginning December 7, 2005, the network's unparalleled lineup of live, original and interactive gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender programming will be available for purchase to Cox's San Diego area digital subscribers as premium 24/7 channel 399.
"Q Television Network's impressive slate of original TV shows has really raised the bar for GLBT programming. We look forward to providing Cox subscribers with GLBT programming that can't be found anywhere else," said Carol Hinnant, QTN's Vice President, Affiliate Sales & Marketing.
QTN will be available to Cox San Diego customers for $10 a month.
QTN has played an active role in San Diego's GLBT community, working closely with the Gay and Lesbian Center and Jet Set, among other organizations. The network was also a sponsor of the National Stonewall Democrats 2005 Convention, which took place in San Diego this past August.
In addition to movies, documentaries and original series, Q Television currently offers its customers five hours of live programming daily, including such hit shows as "Brunch," "QueerEdge with Jack E. Jett," "The Reichen Show," "On Q Live," "Q on the Move," "QTN World News," "Xcess/Access," "On Topic" and "Flesh and Threads."

as much as this board was trashing this stock today, that is one more evidence to me that the company is moving in the right direction.
all this other crap that is going on, well lets just say we always knew there would be resistance to a gay network coming on the scene, i just never thought that it would be the investors writing to the carriers to encourage them not to carry our station, I always figured it would be a religious group.
hell maybe it is and they are attacking it from the inside, and making it look like it is the investors.
lol
well, im not worried too much about it as i can afford to loose my investment here so holding it for the long term is not going to hurt me any.
i have 8 years left on my mortgage and everything that i have will be paid for. if Q comes in before that for me then great, if not my plans still stay the same. Freedom 47.
once my house is paid for im on easy street. I have enough invested now that by then i could retire and live a very comfortable life.
nothing ventured nothing gained is the old saying, I have ventured, i hope to gain, i have all the time in the world to let it do its thing.

I wonder if a conservative Christian judge would throw out that lawsuit between the priest and Frank...scratch that, maybe it's just a publicity stunt.
And, is publicity bad?

A very successful rancher died and left everything to his devoted wife. She was a very good-looking woman, and determined to keep the ranch, but knew very little about ranching, so she decided to place an ad in the newspaper for a ranch hand. Two men applied for the job. One was gay and the other a drunk.
She thought long and hard about it, and when no one else applied she decided to hire the gay guy, figuring it would be safer to have him around the house than the drunk.
He proved to be a hard worker who put in long hours every day and knew a lot about ranching. For weeks, the two of them worked, and the ranch was doing very well. Then one day, the rancher's widow said to the hired hand, "You have done a really good job, and the ranch looks great. You should go into town and kick up your heels." The hired hand readily agreed and went into town one Saturday night. One o'clock came, however, and he didn't return. Two o'clock and no hired hand. He returned around two-thirty, and upon entering the room, he found the rancher's widow sitting by the fireplace with a glass of wine, waiting for him.
She quietly called him over to her. "Unbutton my blouse and take it off," she said. Trembling, he did as she directed. "Now take off my boots." He did as she asked, ever so slowly. "Now take off my socks." He removed each gently and placed them neatly by her boots. "Now take off my skirt." He slowly unbuttoned it, constantly watching her eyes in the fire light. "Now take off my bra." Again, with trembling hands, he did as he was told and dropped it to the floor. "Now," she said, "take off my panties." By the light of the fire, he slowly pulled them down and off.
Then she looked at him and said, "If you ever wear my clothes into town again, you're fired."

I assume that this is play money for you and you have other investments for retirement. Don't pay the mortgage off to quick. You will need the write off for all your capital gains when QBID makes you a multi-millionaire

QBID didn't have billions of shares O/S when you first got in right. Now they have 50-60 billion around.

Looks like the selling has stop..low volume so far today. May be we may see an uptick back to .0005.. or am I dreaming too much?

Virginia, yes there is a Santa Claus, nothing wrong with dreaming, just be careful with wishing as you may get what you wish for

Time will tell if we are headed in the right direction. PR's like this one should be driving the volume and PPS up. If we close at or about the same as yesterday, it would be another symptom of Toxic Financing.
There is no logical explanation as to how a company with tangible assets and a verifiable revenue stream continues to flounder in the market of supply and demand unless there are problems inherit to it's financial structure. Is that a fair statement?

Well, let just hope that all the selling was because of end of years tax loss selling. Just may be, after the 30 days wash period has expired (Jan 2006) they will all buy back into QBID..!

yes you are 100% correct. this is all play money for me.
all done with side money and tax return money.
nothing was ever taken out of my regular pay to buy into this.
and i dont mind paying the capital gains if i have to, we only pay on taxes in Canada on 50% of the actual gains.
so it works out to around 25% of the entire gain.
