You may have a 600+ billion dollar market, but the advertiser's will only go where they have an audience. If they do not see this network as a viable avenue to sell product, they will not invest.

Like I said, if this network is subscription driven and not advertiser driven, they have quite a challenge to turn a profit. Subscription based forms of media cannot survive without massive advertising dollars behind it.

Not that it really matters, but I've sat at the feet and learned from the inventors of infomercials, spam email marketing, and the greatest direct mail marketing pieces ever created -- Dan Kennedy and Gary Halbert. I have a decent understanding of marketing.

Again, my research into this company does not show a business model or marketing plan that will succeed. Of course, just my opinion.

I agree ... so stick around. Not many members of the OP ("Obnoxiously Positive") Club are left anymore. We just awarded you a full membership.

If our membership continues to decline, we won't need the ballroom at the Bellagio for our QBID convention ... we'll be able to hold it in the cab from the airport. But the important point is ... we will be holding it. [Smile]

Which reminds me ... hey, Jennifer ... new rule of the OP Club ... no cheesecake for anyone who breaks a club rule. And we don't tell anyone what our rules are. We've become the cheesecake Nazis ... "you whine, no cheesecake ... you say bad things about Q, no cheesecake ... you make fun of Frank, no cheesecake ... you do other bad stuff, no cheesecake."

I'll have to do a new count of our members and let Jennifer know how many cheesecakes we'll need. I'm guessing about 10?

so you mean to tell me then that HBO, Cinemax and the such are not making it?

common dont be so silly. Subscription stations do it all the time.

for now we are doing a hibrid style channel. low subscription to keep us only in the homes that want our programming, which gives the channel better creative freedoms then that of Logo, and suplimented with some advertising dollars.

its a matter of numbers, and the numbers will come as long as there is fresh material everyday instead of playing the same shows over and over again.

They have achieved this by making 5-7 hours of live programming every day.

you cant convince me that they dont have a winning combination here.

Logo sucks, and noone likes !here.

What you don't understand about subscription stations like HBO is that they generate millions in advertising revenue, they just do it without running commecials! And their proprietary programming generates millions more. They have a winning model. I'm not saying Q can't make it, but you can't compare HBO to Q at this stage in the game.

Take NASCAR for example... NASCAR is broadcast on Fox and NBC. Now why is that Fox generates more advertiser revenue than NBC when NBC is "selling" the same product? Completely different marketing model at Fox. Without going into the marketing minutae, Fox's model sucks in more rednecks, who spend more money than the rednecks who watch NBC's version of NASCAR.

Anway, I hope this stock does make money. I'm not bashing it, just making points to consider staying on the sidelines at this point in time.

Q will have commercials and support as long as possible, which the way I see it will be until they have competition that has a similar product but doesn't have commercials.
Just my opinion.

I don't know if I'm overly optimistic about this stock, I just see more upside potential than downside. While I do agree it's a gamble, I just think it's one of the better gambles, since the only way shareholders can be further hurt is with a reverse split. On top of that, if an R/S is done for the right reasons, and the new price is sustained, I don't see a loss there either. Bottom line on this is: I bought in at this ridiculously cheap price with no more money than I can afford to lose. Fortunately for me, I bought in way cheaper than most of the longs. But believe me, I do feel bad for those who have lost a bunch of money, and I hope they recover.

Even if you're product appeals to a mass audience, selling a subscription based product (if that's exactly what they're doing) is highly difficult.

And just suppose advertising is their revenue generator, again you have a tiny target audience and advertisors won't pay full-book to run spots on this network.

IMO stay away.

When was it only a US population... Aren't we international??

just wondering if i am still in the obnoxiously positive club? the other day i admit i was an offender i was complaining pretty bad about doc and imak not giving us any info.

but to be honest even though alot is not looking good right now i am still long and strong havent sold one share yet and dont intend on it any time soon . i added a few mil more the other day at .0002 and if i did have more cashish i would be putting in a bid at .0001 right now. oh well.

nothing is gonna shake this qbidiot from his shares im in for the long haul until frank makes me proud or until i start to cry hehe.

good luck to all that are buying in right now if this does run you are getting in very cheap compared to the rest of us but if it r/splits and heads back down please pace your buys and dont put in more than you planned on.

26 million on lockdown.

sincerely your qbidiot. [Big Grin] [Cool] [Cool] [Big Grin]

Man, you're the charter member. Sometimes your positive attitude baffles even me (yes, I admit that sometimes I have doubts about Q and Frank). But since whining never helps, I hide my concerns by taking long walks. In the past two weeks, I've probably logged a couple hundred miles. If I had just kept going west, I might have ended up in Burbank in time to meet Frank with Doc and Imak. [Big Grin]

thanx bottomliner i guess you missed my ranting and raving and bit#%ing the other day. i was just getting impatient. its not that i am always as positive about this company as i may appear its just a way for me to rationalize to myself that i havent lost yet. looking in retrospect i really wish i would have put a few k asside so that i could be sitting on the beach in tailand or somewhere warm instead of stuck at home broke as a joke hehe. but live and learn is the name of the game we dont really know if we have been had yet. many know already as their impatience has already sealed the deal and they have realized huge losses. my heart goes out to them. for me ill be lingering around i expect for years to come unless this dissapears alltogether.

good luck to all you guys and sorry i forgot to space that post out im a little sleepy today.

The whole friggin 60 billion only adds up to a $12 million market cap at 0002. By ANYONE's estimation that is way underpriced.

Let's assume Frank keeps diluting and raises the a/s again.
Let's blow up the numbers to 200 billion o/s!!
and say the company is only worth $500 million

c'mon people do the math!!

.0025 pps with more than double the actual o/s right now, and with a low valuation of the company (imo)

Having a positive attitude with QBID is hard to maintain. I do believe QBID will make. The only real concern will it be with the current stock holder.. you and me!

We just have to see those books and find out how much debt does QBID owe. If it is as Frank said it was.. very low, then the company may survive with low stock value for a long time. But if there is a lot of debt in QBID, then it may not be easy to survive without going Ch 11. Which would be the 'Kiss of Death' for current stock holders. I have been through this a few times.

A reverse stock split may not be the death of QBID. I have been through many RS in the past few years..some make it and some don't. With 100B shares OS, it all depends on who owns those shares.

I am in QBID till the very end, not much value left anyway.

Hey, everyone
I was just joking about the OP Club, although I do keep a spreadsheet that tracks what I call "poster attitude", and I do call it my OP Club.

The basic qualifications of the club are pretty simple:

-Objectivity: Keeping an open mind until all facts are known.
-Honesty: Presenting facts as facts and opinions as opinions.
-Whining: Not allowed ... ever ... for any reason. It's okay to express negative concerns, but whining? NO ... NO ... NO. (I define "whining" as publicly complaining about issues beyond your control. If anyone needs a better definition, spend some time with a cranky three-year-old ... you'll soon understand my position on whining.)

Although the membership list changes often, depending on how people react to current news (or current lack of news [Roll Eyes] ), the list seems to grow shorter every day. And I don't give many second chances. It's easy to be positive about a stock when we're all making money ... but the true test is how people react when things aren't so rosy.

Anyway, if you think you qualify for the OP Club, you probably do. And I won't publish a membership list.

--------------------
Everything I say is only my opinion ... right or wrong.
