One never reveals their sources. If they can pull this reverse merger off, we are golden. But, first things first, let's close InMarketing.

I have been blessed ever since I started kissing my husband's balls (golf) before he swings. I'm sure everyone will take this the wrong way, but he plays much better golf and I have had great luck in my stock picks. MOTG is a winner.

AN, I understand your point... I don't like to put all my eggs in one basket unless I really think it's going to do well. I've tried spreading it out, only to have picked what seems to be all the red instead of green stocks!

I have alot of confidence in this one, but yes, I'm still a little nervous.

For what it's worth, I have a small holding of SVXP and I'm also trying to buy a very small bit of ITGJ.

I have some SVXP too. I suggest you buy stocks penny or regular, from different industries. As for picking several stocks that all turned red... try this. Look at the 52 week range. Set a limit order near the low end of the range. And do this for another stock. Make sure your stocks are from totally different industries. Because if all your stocks are from the same industry... then they will all turn red at the same time. Also, pick companies that gain from another company's loss. Like Microsoft vs. Google. When Google goes down... Microsoft goes up. And set a limit order to sell when each stock reach their 52 week high. Apply the "Microsoft vs. Google" approach to your penny stocks. And I promise ya... overall, your portfolio should be balanced. Just remember: Limit order your selling price. I'm just reducing your "RED EYES" problems [Wink] See... newbies can know stuff too.... basic stuff.

oh yeah... another thing. I know Microsoft and Google are from the same industry... but, hey... I'm just trying to get to a point.

Thanks for your tips. Unfortunately, you can't do stop limit orders with pennies. [Frown] believe me, i'd use them if i had them! but i do have a sell limit order on motg, set at $5... but that's only because it was recommended I do that as a way to protect my shares from Nite's naked shorting. (I don't remember how it works, but I just went ahead and did it anyway.)

I don't understand. I was able to buy MOTG through a Limit order. I set the price at .07 and the order was excuted when a seller was found or when the MM sold me his. I use Etrade. What broker are you using?

AN...
you can use limit orders to buy penny stocks, but stop limit orders are not accepted by online brokers in the OTC. The difference being that in a Nasdaq stock for instance, you can set a buy or sell stop limit and leave your computer and if the price you set is hit, then most likely you will get filled at that price and your account will automatically execute the order.
But in a penny stock, you cannot do that, the only time you can sell is when you enter an order at the pps that you want to sell at, you have to do this manually and are not able to "set" a price and have your account execute it on its own. I hope that this helps...

p.s. just some friendly advice...and don't take this as a bad vibe..but you might want to educate yourself a bit through a book or online training session before you get too deep into trading...I agree the best training is just to go out and do it and learn from your mistakes but researching these topics you ask about here on this thread will help you understand all these concepts better and keep you from making a vital mistake...

Good luck to you.. I hope you make lots here with the rest of us.

Also AN;

Be VERY careful with GOOG, thats a very volatile stock...if you don't know what volume is then I wouldn't try to get too tricky with that stock if you are just a novice...GL

Pohoiki1, we can still be friends... right? Sticking my tounge out wasn't personal. C'mon... let's be friends. As for being a rookie... we where all rookies once, even the pros. It's the attitude that makes a rookie become a pro. You can bash people all you want... it won't bother me. I appreciate your help, but disregard your criticism. But, that won't stop me from listening to you. I'll use your quote... "Don't take that the wrong way"

My prediction for the day is - barring any pr's - we trade between .07 and .08, close somewhere around .07.

As a side, I was looking at the MOTG chart last night and technicals are really blown apart on this. Our beautiful hand-and-handle is almost ruinated! Here's hopin for a string of nice pr's and a quick recovery soon.

GL ya'll

Aldeberon..more important though is the base we got here...all the investors here and on RB are all basically in under .075 with a few exceptions...that should play a big role in a possible short squeeze..

Jax: yes, you're right, it doesn't matter if we're breaking out of a cup and handle or reestablishing a baseline... WE ARE GOING ABOVE .01! I am just wondering if a certain number of investors are waiting for the technicals to perk up before buying in.

The irony of technicals: one waits for good technicals to buy in; buying in creates good technicals [Wink] Let's add a great pr to this mix and GET THIS PARTY STARTED! WOOHOOOOO

I wonder how much water technicals hold in a situation like this? Because we are obviously not being allowed to trade outside of a box being built by NITE, so maybe if we were allowed to trade like the buying and selling so far have been, we'd have broken out of that patter after the handle...

The amazing thing about MOTG imo is that DESPITE nite keeping it down we STILL were able to maintain beautiful technicals for the last month or so! That indicates the ability of strong buying pressure here to thwart even the most dastardly of MM games. It also indicates that in the future, we can beat our NITE with the correct amount of buying pressure.

Watch out NITEY your day is coming.

Technials are simply an indicator traders use to get in and get out. If we have better indicators we will probably see more buyers, that's all.

But like I say, we're going above .1 either way [Wink]

Hey Al--way to go out on a limb with your prediction ...lol.

Another Newbie--we are trying to keep this board on a very congenial level. Please have respect for those vets out there trying to help you. You have asked a lot of very basic question which take time and effort to answer, and people have been kind enough to do so. So please play nice.

If that fails, remember--I've got a gun and I'm not afraid to use it.
