rb is raging bull dot com... it's a very crappy board. some smart people on it, but the forum setup is horrible and there are lots of bashers, pumpers, and people who accuse people when they think too much, right kat ?

Been a bit busy here of late and just catching up on the posts Welcome to the new folks on the board.
I'm sitting here reading and trying to decide whether or not to try to buy some more shares or not. DEFINITELY NOT going to sell. but I have a question (not a big surprise there right?) On page 11 anasdq posted a link to the Regulation SHO Threshold Security List and MOTG is listed on it. What does that mean exactly?
And yes, some of you are right, some of us newbies owe you all a consulting fee!!

Regulation SHO took effect January 3, 2005, and provides a new regulatory framework governing short selling of securities. It was designed with the objective of simplifying and modernizing short sale regulation and providing controls where they are most needed. At the conclusion of each settlement day, data is provided on securities in which: 1) there are at least 10,000 shares in aggregate failed deliveries for the security for five consecutive settlement days, and 2) these failures constitute at least 0.5% of the issuer's total shares outstanding. Regulation SHO mandates that, if a clearing agent has had a fail-to-deliver position for 13 consecutive settlement days, that clearing agent, and the broker/dealer it clears for, must purchase securities to close out its fail to deliver position.

I personally would get more shares if I could afford to, especially since NITE is still playing around with the numbers and keeping it low... great opportunity.
Regarding your shortlist question... this can be a very good thing for us. If NITE is as short as we think he is (what, about 3'11"? Harr harrrr (Tech, note the manly pirate laugh)) then, when some good PRs come out, he will have to buy back these shares... if the demand for shares is high, he'll have to pay our price. By him paying a premium price for the shares, this will cause the stock price in turn to go up. Once this happens, people will see that it is running (we hope) and buy even more, thus driving up the price even further. Then half of us will get greedy and ignore our pre-determined exit strategies and watch as the stock sinks as quickly as it rises... but no matter, because long term, this stock is definitely a keeper.

I guess so... it'd still be nice to have more though, of course! But yeah, that's not too bad, I guess. If this thing does half as good as everyone hopes it will, it'll make a nice return.

Warped... did you get the digit count correct? Cuz if you can afford that many MOTG shares... then, why spend all that money on a risky stock?

Everyone already knows how many shares we have. And yes, I absolutely despise bashers when MOTG is obviously being manipulated, for the time being, by NITE. Think I'll quit posting on RB, too many losers over there.
Look for another PR this week. You heard it here first. (hee hee)

AN, I understand your point... I don't like to put all my eggs in one basket unless I really think it's going to do well. I've tried spreading it out, only to have picked what seems to be all the red instead of green stocks!
I have alot of confidence in this one, but yes, I'm still a little nervous.
For what it's worth, I have a small holding of SVXP and I'm also trying to buy a very small bit of ITGJ.
