Anybody have the web site for this company? I liked what they had to say in the last press release! I think they are in a great market for distressed property. But I don't know much about this company. Can I get a little help?

Well that's good news, I guess. But even still, who is buying? Guthrie? To make it look good? One never knows. I am still holding the stock hoping that all of this is just a short little nightmare and I will wake up soon and have enough money to build my home in Rome. Hehehe (just probably not from CWFG) I emaild Guthrie again today. Asking why I haven't received a response from him to my last 4 e-mails. I would love to see some background on the COO - and email address to contact her would be nice - a phone number would be better - Hmmmmmm - could we get a social security # and her Driver's license also - this way we can really check her background. HAHAHAHA
Keep on holding - a greener day will come!

I thought this was going to be the NEW & IMPROVED thread. So far from the last few posts this thread ought to be dumped.
IMO The bit about Guthery moving out of country...though intended as a Joke should be reported to the web host as a fraud and purposeful miss information to some unsuspecting people.

I can pretty much assure you that nobody on this thread so far has intended to mislead or misguide anyone....
Many of us have been riding this one for several months now, and a few are just blowing off some steam....
As for the new and improved part, that was in reference to the company PR... We're all in this together, and I honestly can say, it was in jest, not meant to harm anyone....
Look at it this way, at least there is no foul or offesive language on this thread as there have been on others...
HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

I'd hate to think that investors actually take information from an annonymous forum as "good DD".

Copy of the email I sent to Guthrie at 7:10PM 11/8/05 - We'll see if he replies....Keeping lots of things crossed, it's kinda tough on the eyes though...LOL
Mr. Guthrie,
A lot of the stockholders in your company, including myself are pleased with the announcement of your new COO. We would like to know more about this individual in order to feel more comfortable with maintaining our current investments, and the possiblility of additional investments as well.
Also, as the phone number for the company appears to be a cell phone, is there a new number for us to contact her? Perhaps a verifiable bio for her would be provided for us to review.
Additionally, we would like to know if the paperwork for your companies CCR registration has been completed, and the current status of FEMA contracts, anticipated award timing etc...
With the past lack of communication in the form of a PR, I hope you will be understanding of our concerns. Replies to individual emails just are not considered to be verifiable, though are truly appreciated.
Respectfully,
Investor in CWFG Ohio

News for 'CWMF' - (Commonwealth American Financial Announces the Formation of a Wholly Owned Emergency Services Subsidiary)
ST.PETERSBURG, Fla., Nov 09, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Commonwealth American Financial Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: CWFG) today announced that the Board of Directors has approved the formation of a wholly owned Emergency Services Division/Subsidiary.
The company will expand within the area of Emergency Services. The Division/Subsidiary will engage in the negotiations of prearranged service contracts with municipal, city and state governments. These contracts will be fully executed and in force for a period of time with fees to be paid included in advance. For disaster clean up services, theses pre-negotiated contracts will benefit both the government agencies charged with clean up of natural disasters as well as the company as contracts will be in place ready to go without having to bid at the time of the required disaster clean up.
The company currently is also considering several additional opportunities either by acquisition or mergers to increase its existing operations such as acquiring a general contracting firm with approved contracts already in place, division or acquiring/merging with sub contracting firms with contracts for services to companies that already have won bids and are ready to go.
"We believe, per the increased yearly damage due to hurricanes and other natural disasters in the communities served by the company that this is a natural fit for the company's operations and will generate another stream of revenue. The company over the next several weeks and months will undergo several other divisional changes and form certain other new subsidiaries to accelerate the company's objectives and success while maintaining no change in the company's capital structure while striving to enhance shareholder value," said Ms. Ryals President & Chief Executive Officer.

I think this lady might actually know what shes doing.
Gotta love "no change in the capital structure while striving to enhance shareholder value." I take that to mean still no r/s.

The only concern I have is in the title of her job... Note the actual title given to her on the 7th.....COO
Now she is the CEO....
I'm not sure if it makes a difference in this company or not, but in a lot of companies, there are 2 positions, one of COO and the other of CEO... I took the following from our old thread...
ST.PETERSBURG, Fla., Nov 07, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Commonwealth American Financial Group, Inc.(Pink Sheets: CWFG) today announced that Kristin Mary Ryals has been named President & Chief Operating Officer of Commonwealth American Financial Group Inc.

Is Ms. Ryals President and chief Exec. Officer two different people. Maybe her and MrG said the same thing? This is considering she was COO monday, not CEO?? just a thought, a little play on words? thinking outloud here... But i would rather MrG be out of the picture.

I don't think that anyone really knows whats going on at CWFG. It would be nice if our e-mails were returned. Now, since Guthrie is out - who do we e-mail? Whats the email address? Is there a new phone number to call? Is the number Guthrie's cell? Or, is there actually a land line we can call now? I am in too deep to get out now. But, I would really like some contact information - as I am sure all of you would also. Anybody have any thoughts??
