Thanks BG1 .. I'll consider it. But it's up to Ricpic if he wants to be an adult and just ignore me or other people when they question anything about his posts. Then he can go back to doing stuff for you folks. And since when is looking at a companies financials on otcbb where it's in black and white about a company's history is negative. Don't you have to weigh the good with the bad for a balanced picture. And stop screaming BG1. It' hard to read. I peruse these boards for stock information, not to stroke anyone’s ego.

Jeez Thorn. Don't be so literal. It was just a link to that part of the site. I will be more diligent from now on. But, then again, I'm not allowed to post here. Okay, enough of that nonsense. Lets talk stock. Thorn, are you meaning the MM's gap numbers? Well, I'm not dumping mine any time soon either.

No offense intended. Just that those otcbb stats are way out of date, making it misleading. You do realize that the CALI mgmt has nothing to do with SVXP now, right?
I don't know much about mm signals...have even heard them called an urban legend. This is the first "500" I've seen. Wouldn't that mean gap to .0003 tomorrow on open?

quote:Originally posted by rickpic: when your figuring out the dollar value of the Species cargo, heres the break down!
One livre equaled 20 sols The Spanish dollar was to be accepted at three livres, nineteen sols and one dernier
or aproximately .25 for every livre
so if you dived the total livre by 4 you would have the equivilent of the dollar value that was shipped in 1725
silver gold and copper Jetsons
below is an example.
If you have 1m livre you would have approximatly $250k dollar value in gold, silver, and copper back in 1725 multipied by the price per ounce today! Add to that the valued given to historic shipwreck coins!
The worth of an "écu d'or", a French gold coin, was changed from 60 sols to 57 sols in 1573.
To curb increasing use of the Spanish "real", its official worth was decreased to 4 sols 2 deniers in the 1570s.
The word "livre" comes from the Latin word "libra" which was a Roman unity of weight. In French the word "livre" meaning pound (weight) has existed in France from the Middles Ages, and although the French metric system has largely to replace it with kilograms, it continues to be used today in some commercial contexts (such as shopping at a butcher's or a vegetable stand).

Told you he'd be back. Ricpic, who cares, keg or case, it's whats in them that matters.... can't sell the keg containers anyhow. (I don't think)
WOW BG1, you off your meds?? You can do anger management on the internet you know!
Yes Thorn, I see what you mean how that could be misleading. Sorry. The ask looked like the mm's tried to keep it at .0005. But 2 sales at .0003 is interesting. I like the way this stock at least moves, one way or another so it's got a pulse. Did CALI buy into or buy up SVXP. Cali has no experience that I could find with salvage but is a investment type corp. Business Summary
CURRENT BUSINESS INFORMATION: CALI Holdings, Inc., a Business Development Company, has developed its portfolio in construction, financial services and entertainment. The Company provides equity and long-term debt financing to small and medium-sized private companies in a variety of industries throughout the United States older info on cali..http://www.otcbb.com/profiles/cali.htm
So perhaps pre cali management may be silent partner types. As long as they don't muck around with SVXP people and let them do what they've been doing for a living.

Here you go, in case some people haven't found their history yet... A little bit of read... October 20, 2005 - 9:20 AM EDT
CALI Holdings, Inc. Signs Definitive Agreement with Marine Exploration Company CALI Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB:CALI) announced today that it executed and closed under a definitive agreement with Sovereign Exploration Associates International Inc. (SEAI), a marine exploration company headquartered in Pennsylvania. SEAI, a privately held company, was recently formed through the merger of Sea Research, Inc., and Artifact Recovery & Conservation, Inc. As previously announced, CALI Holdings decided to strategically focus its business efforts on financing the recovery of shipwrecks that have cargo of historic, archeological and intrinsic value. SEAI brings executive management, skilled recovery teams, equipment and agreements for twelve (12) sites containing over 15 ships of historic, archeological and intrinsic value. CALI Holdings has applied to change its name to Sovereign Exploration Associates International Inc.
The agreement involved the exchange of SEAI stock for 90% of CALI stock and pursuant thereto SEAI became a wholly-owned subsidiary of CALI. The new management team will be comprised of key individuals from SEAI. Robert Baca and Curtis Sprouse of SEAI will assume the CEO and COO positions effective immediately. SEAI's web site is under development. Future announcements on the SEAI web site will address current site operations, artifacts recovered to date and future projects.
Guess the Cali guys liked what they saw.

Hey, maybe the SVXP crew would let a shareholder with more than 100k shares dive for their own coin. And they could even charge us for the dive. I don't think this is such a radical idea.

Yeah, basically CALI traded their public stock position for an interest in SEAI's private company, for which SEAI got instant access to publicly traded stock for their company. SVXP is SEAI with CALI's stock. CALI's mangement is not involved in SVXP at all (well not the management of it).
Same thing happened with BTSI (now NDOL), 'cept they are into Russian oil (check it out, it could become a good play in the near future--took too long for me though, but maybe I bailed just before it goes. I can always get back in ). See the NDOL tread on the hot stocks section of this forum.
