Running,

My scottrade account did the same thing, it corrected itself today at lunch. Was getting scared for awhile.

Running, does that mean you had a sell order in before 2:30 friday 13th or after? If after, then you only had 1 1/2 hours to fill that order. After the bell friday, I believe svxp was no more.
I'm not sure if sub pennies trade after hours, in which case maybe friday night and saturday.
Scottrade had rendered my holdings frozen while svxp flipped the shares and name. .. etc.
I couldn't trade until end of day wednesday.

I checked and the sale was executed 11:34AM Friday morning.

According to the person at etrade it will be fixed by sometime this morning. We shall see. Either way, I'll post. Problem is, I'm not going to have 45 minutes this morning to wait on hold if it's still there. In that case I'll wait till Monday to see what happens.

Very cool, you got out in time.
I'm not sure if a company can dump an old name as soon as the reports get to sec, like example after 2:38 on friday svxp is dead and you can only trade svxa.??

Let's see, the time is.. 6:03 EST. In 27 minutes the Panthers - hopefully - will show their stuff in Seattle.

Yea, I would say I got out just in the nick of time. It was pure genius on my part. Uh, actually, it was pure luck. Whew!

That said, I posted some nasty stuff on this site about the company and some nice things about Mel, who is the "Mother of All" treasure hunters.

Truthfully, I'm starting to re-think that - though I still think the world of Mel Fisher. When I look back on one of my last conversations with Mel I asked him about how lucky his investors were. He told me.. now that I think about it.. yea.. especially, the last ones. Being new to the stock business I'm thinking.. and I don't know this.. he must have r/s'ed up the butt. The last ones in made the money.

So, now that we see this stock falling.. as expected.. if it goes back down to sub-pennies, which is all I can afford (thank you wife) I may just try again.

Hey, last one in. I must, however tell you, I do NOT like this company. One thing about Mel, he was legit in that he had experience and made an awful sacrifice to aquire his dream.

Just a thought, but I believe Mel Fisher started in the 60's. There wasn't a otc exchange I think.
I would hazard a guess that reverse splits were something big stocks did at the time. I don't even know when Mel went public. Maybe he meant the ones still holding. My point being, I would bet a side sonar that Mr. Fisher didn't do what sub pennies do now on a daily basis.
And, there is only one or two new so called officers that know anything about salvage in svxa, Sprouse and company are pharmaceutical accountants looking for some quick cash.

I do believe you are right about Mel. Thought it was later than the 60's, but I don't think it really matters at this point. SVXA, according to most, has done sunk too deep.

Actually the pink sheets and otc are MUCH older than the 60's. It just went electronic recently.

Thanks Hosstrader. Neat information to know.
In addition, I thought it was much, much later than the 60's that Mel found the the big treasure. In fact, he didn't hit it big until, I believe, in the mid-80's.
When I used to talk with him it was in the 90's. His dream of finding more treasure was still with him, but his health was failing.
Oh, no big deal that I talked with him. Mel would.. and did.. talk with anyone who came up to him. He was just that kind of person.

No one wants to talk about svxp/svxa any more.

Well, last remark of svxa. I sold my massive holdings of 115 shares after the r/s and made $3.00 after the commissions and fees. I probably will delete this forum from my favorites and not look at this stock until much later.
see ya everybody, it was fun while it lasted, have a good and profitable year.

LOL! Don't feel too bad. I was in SVXP too at the time. While you made 3 bucks, I made probably nothing after the commission fees, I really don't remember.

GO SVXP! Oh, I meant, DIE SVXA and sink like the Titanic did!!! [Big Grin]

Easy, just delete it from your favorites, like I'm doing right now.
