i also included that Q is available on Comcast and RCN, not only TW. Told him he need to get his facts straight before including Q in the same sentence

Jennifer Very nice . . . you keep expanding my already high opinion of you.
Although I don't think anyone's efforts will change this guy's very biased opinion, please let me know if you get a reply from him. If his response to you even remotely borders on civility, I will send a similar letter. But my experiences with such people tells me it won't happen.
Have to admit he has a nice looking website. I wonder how he pays for it . . . is there profit in bigotry and hate?

He is in the house, but not as much as I would like to be. As you know my practice is Geriatrics and I deal mostly in long term care facilities.
This time of the year is very hard on my patients, pneumonia, flu so that is keeping me busy most of the time, lots of after hour calls to deal with, but I would not give it up for the world, my patients are special.

I will assume a CEO buying when they do NOT talk about it , and you know about it ONLY after the fact ! Beware when they say they going to buy back, thats when they dump !! JMHO

Doc My father recently entered a long-term care facility. He just needed more care than I could give him anymore. But he's doing well, thanks to people like you.

One point I would like to clarify is the statement that Q Television is pornographic. In truth it is not. Jennifer
Thanks for your feedback and support. However, on a number of Internet searches I did, the programs they listed did feature some porn. Did you know this?
~Guy
I've been following Q for a year and a half and know of no porn. Could you please forward a list?
Thanks, JB

Just do what I did -- an Internet search. (Guy)
I’ve been monitoring Q and its content. Did you get your information from Q Television or another source? If another source, who?
Thanks,
JB

Cable delays local launch of new lgbt network, LOGO By Brad Smith “I want my Gay TV!” That’s what Viacom MTV Networks would like us to say about its new channel, LOGO. LOGO debuted in about 10 million homes in parts of the United States at the end of June. Time Warner Cable added LOGO to its digital lineup in other cities, but so far, refuses to do that in Rochester.
“The company is in negotiations to carry LOGO in Rochester and our other markets, says Time Warner Rochester spokesperson Brian Wirth. “We may have an announcement by the end of the year or early in 2006.” Wirth adds that Time Warner may also add the premium gay channel Here! (about $10 per month) and Q television, a pay per view service (pricing similar to mainstream movie services) available in a few big cities. Here! and Q could gain more viewers and eventually benefit from LOGO’s addition to cable systems around the country.
Money is delaying the rollout. Both sides need to agree on how much MTV should pay Time Warner (if anything) to add LOGO in more than two dozen cities. As an example, Viacom might insist that cable companies carry LOGO if they want to continue to offer Viacom channels such as MTV, VH1, CMT and as many as 10 others.
The delay may help Time Warner avoid confrontations with conservatives who oppose anything gay. Organizations affiliated with the hate group Focus on the Family have launched campaigns to pressure cable companies to refuse the channel. Time Warner in Rochester won’t confirm that, blaming the delay on corporate negotiations that are “out of local control.”
Should negotiations result in the addition of LOGO to the local cable lineup at the end of the year (six months after its launch), customers may find the announcement in the end of the year mailing that details the annual cable price hike. Cable is a business with at least three revenue streams, but the money doesn’t go as far as it used to: channels pay to be carried, customers pay for the service, and cable also makes money selling advertisements.
Even in a 500-channel universe, a spot on the dial is not cheap. For example, Time Warner and the owners of WUHF-TV 31 Fox Rochester couldn’t agree on the charge to add the high definition (HD) Fox signal to the cable lineup, frustrating cable customers who invested in expensive TV sets to watch American Idol in HD. Some stations dare to suggest that cable should pay them for what can be expensive local broadcasting efforts.
What is LOGO? LOGO is a 24/7 digital cable channel whose president is Brian Graden, a gay man in his 40s from the Illinois countryside who attended Oral Roberts University. He gave us shows such as South Park, The Week That Was, I Love the 80s, Jackass and Punk’d.
Don’t expect to see such extreme programming on LOGO. LOGO bills itself as a mix of original and acquired entertainment that is smart, inclusive and authentic. LOGO features a library of 200 major film titles, documentaries and news coverage, plus original series and specials. It’s not just for men or just for women. Future issues of The Empty Closet will add more details on programming if the service is added.
Viacom promised that LOGO would be on the air two years ago (then called Outlet). America, which had no LGBTQ niche channels, now has several. Advertisers want to reach the biggest groups of consumers as cheaply as possible, and to them, the gay market is more attractive. Won’t the rest of America be surprised to see commercials on gay TV are as mundane – or the same - as the ones they are used to seeing?
As the major networks sanitize their lineups, LOGO and the other new channels may offer the opportunity to come home, flop on the couch and find someone on TV to identify with.

This guy GUY obviously has a different definition of PORN than I do??? Some people think an R rated movie with some nudity or sexual scenes is PORN - Geeze! Aybody ever watch Cinamax (or as I call Skin-a-Max) on a late Fri or Sat? Hell, if this is the case then HBO, STARZ, Movie Channel - all the hombox offices show PORN. This guy, GUY is a wackjob. Jennifer, is this guy talking about SoFla QTV? Do you even remember what that is? I just remember it being confused with QTN about a year ago, and it turned out to be a southern florida based show for the glbt community. I remember figuring this out and posting, but I can't seem to find much on it anymore. I don't remember it involving porn either, which makes me think these people simply have an agenda against gays.

I just had a thought… If the codes of S and F do mean: S = out of sequence F = informational Then can we assume that a transaction was made outside of the normal pink market and it is shown for informational purposes only? Could these be private sales that have to be shown, but are still private? Could someone be doing a buyback directly from a holder of restricted shares and thus bypassing the 25% rule? Does anyone know or have any thoughts?

Can anybody say "The L Word" on Showtime. lol. I don't know if that show was ever big in the glbt community, but I know it was big in the heterosexual male community. That has to be much racier than anything Q has done.

All the so-called A/H trades that we have seen in the past also have these codes.. it does'nt mean anything IMO other than what the codes specifies.

Dew-it But these are not A/H Trades , IMO these were buys not posted at time of sale ( out of sequence) , the question is why MM wanted to post it that way ? I think they trying to keep a delicate balance between sells and buys PRESSURE ..to kepp PPS there for some reason that we dont know about yet !!

Well yes, you have a point. I have wondered about this in the past. My theory - A MM may not want to post actually buys or sells when they actually happen, their by "manipulating" the actually trading trend of the time. This is very common on the A/H postings. If those buys would have been posted when they occurred the PPS would most definitely have risen (sp?). I am not sure what, if any requirements exist for MM to post the actual sell and time of a transaction. Is it by the end of trading day or within 3 days, similar to shorting or margin requirements??? I don’t know.
