Perhaps you're not looking at the same stock I am, david. The stock I'm looking at is QBID:
 -

After the first run, this stock has consistently hit lower highs and lower lows. Reverse IPO companies like this have cycles. Frank's in the part of the cycle now where he announces his retirement, someone related to him steps in, and they change the name of the ticker, do a reverse-split, and change the name to something else.

What are you saying, that Frank is buying back as we speak?

Is *THAT* why this is going down?

If he wanted to buy back the shares, he'd want this at .0001 and he would PR absolutely nothing (anyone here remember the 2 month PR blackout from the 3 year history thread of QBID on this forum?) at all. If he intended to continue to dilute, he'd post PRs about an audit and keep talking about how close things are, how many buybacks we'll see, etc.

Basically, he's still got room to dilute (hasn't hit 50 billion A/S yet), so he's gotta convince people it's worth buying.

As soon as Frank gets quiet, that's when you'll know he's starting to get serious about buying back shares. He'll just shut up and be quiet, no PRs, no anything. He'll *let* it drop to .0001, and then buy back.

That is, if he isn't retiring and letting someone else take over QBID itself, the dirty shell.

You're not really a mortgage broker, are you?

And no, having a CC is not staying quiet, it's a desperate attempt to keep the PPS from dropping to zilch while you dump shares.

Honolua Bay on Maui, is another of my favorite breaks, there is a left, but the right is exellant..
The water is warmer than Oregon by about 30 degres.LOL
Kona on the big island is a challenge as far as surfing goes, but the body surfing and diving is great.
BTW, the point at Seaside is blowing surfers minds the last few weeks..Sea lions even getting a wave or two, hell what am I saying, the damn critters are wave hogging.!!!!

g-invest i agree 100%, but buying back naturally reduces the shares out there correcT? so it can't sit at .0001 during a buyback, especially if this is a buyback to restore life into the stock, billions and billions of shares etc.... or am i wrong? i still am confused by this a bit. thanks

My advice get out now and see what happens. This is tanking and if it starts to go back up you will have tons of time to get back in. Something just doesn't feel right about this stock. We are tanking and Frank is not doing anything about it.

Thats what I am doing.

here is a guy that we need to harras. note the bold test in this article. apparently Q Television is the leader in Gay porn. I think that we need to fill his e-mail box asking for a retraction of that statement as that is the furthest from the truth.

rOd

http://www.renewamerica.us/columns/adams/051103

AOL is censoring me. They are directly infringing upon, and actively restricting, my First Amendment right to free speech. This should frighten all of you who use AOL. It should cause all of you who use the Internet to take notice — you could be next. This is not a drill.

AOL is censoring me because of my conservative beliefs. Let me make that perfectly clear, as I will explain. There's no doubt about it and AOL didn't even try to hide it. They have the lion's share of the Internet market so why should they worry about alienating one customer? How arrogant. Well, since I sent out an email to many of America's newspapers and talk shows, I've had countless columnists and editors email me back. The speed of their replies amazed me. A groundswell is brewing. I think you'll be very interested in this. But first, a few quick facts.

It is well known that AOL/Time Warner actively and openly endorses the homosexual lifestyle, and they reportedly contribute large amounts of money to gay and lesbian groups and causes. In fact, many activists insist that AOL is openly hostile to traditional American values, yet they call themselves "America" Online. Not any more.

Their workplace policy stresses special inclusiveness and tolerance of gays while opposing Judeo-Christian values. A quick Internet search can confirm that for you.

It's also very well known that AOL/TimeWarner makes more porn (even homosexual porn) available than any other outlet. Just one example is their picking up of the [gay] "Q Television Network" which is only available through AOL/Time-Warner. They are the global leader in pornographic entertainment.

In America, support for the homosexual lifestyle or pornography, etc., isn't illegal, but here's my question: after endorsing and distributing things of such a prurient and controversial nature, why are they censoring me for simple emails? I'm not sending out pornography or inciting violence — my emails are merely political in nature as most of my readers know. So, what's the real reason for their action?

The 'Q' Quest': SU alumni hosts morning show on gay, lesbian startup cable network
Thursday, November 03, 2005
By William LaRue
Staff writer
tudying at Syracuse University in the early 1990s, Scott Withers didn't have any dreams of running a TV channel appealing to gay and lesbian viewers.

Withers says he was totally set on being a broadcast journalist. Besides, he was still "extremely in the closet" back then about his homosexuality.

"At the time, I was all about hard news, daily news, local broadcast news. . . . And if you asked me then if I thought I'd be running a gay cable network, I would have thought you insane," Withers says.

Right now, though, he says everything about Q fits him to a T.

He's not only executive vice president of Q Television Network, a subscription channel for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered (GLBT) community. He's also co-host of its live daily show, "Brunch." The program is televised noon to 1:30 p.m. weekdays.

Q, which also features documentaries, news, sports and other programming, premiered Oct. 1 in Central and Northern New York on Time Warner Cable's Channel 380. A subscription is $7.95 a month.

After graduation in 1995 from SU's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, the Michigan-born Withers worked for several years at CNN. He then became a TV reporter in Tennessee before being hired as an executive for a public relations company. He quit to go to work at Q in October 2004.

Withers is planning to return to Syracuse for a public appearance Nov. 12 at Rain nightclub in Syracuse in an event co-sponsored by Time Warner and Q.

In a telephone interview from his Los Angeles office, Withers spoke about his time as a closeted gay student at SU, his show on Q, and his excitement about the fledgling network.
Q. Did you know you were gay when you were at SU?

A. Absolutely. I was totally self-conscious of my sexuality at the time. I was not "out,"

because in the early 1990s, while the gay and lesbian community was gaining momentum and gaining visibility, it was still not as widely open as it is today.

It was funny that all of my friends at the time were also closeted. We hung out all the time together, but we didn't know (each other was gay). We never talked about it to each other. We all came out to each other after graduation.

Q. Does the network say what "Q" in Q Television Network stands for?

A. We don't say Queer Television, but it stands for "queer," which represents the GLBT community. . . . I don't want to say we're taking back the term, but we have absolutely no problem with it. We're all proud to be queer.

Q. What is your morning show like?

A. I host that with Honey Labrador, who was on "Queer Eye for the Straight Girl." She's been a runway supermodel for decades. The show airs live from Hollywood at 9 a.m., or on the East Coast (from noon to 1:30 p.m.) That's why we came up with the creative title "Brunch."

Q. How is "Brunch" different from other morning shows?

A. It's an unscripted sitcom. We don't bring our guests out and sit them in a chair next to us and have the normal interview. Our set is two apartments. She lives in one apartment. I live across the hall. We're friends, but we don't always agree and get along.

Q. Are all your guests celebrities?

A. We have a mixture. We have people on representing various charities or different groups. We have lawyers come on talking about same-sex domestic issues and personal finance, which is completely different for our community than the heterosexual community because of different laws in different states.

Q. What about other shows on Q?

A. Our big focus is on live shows every single day - live, live, live television. Our nighttime block kicks off (at 7 p.m.) with "QTN WorldNews," which is a half-hour live news program all about GLBT news. Then we have (at 7:30 p.m.) "On Q Live," which is our nightly variety show.

Then we cap off our night (at 9 p.m.) with "Queer Edge." Our host is Jack E. Jett. . . . One of his guests was a rock band made up of people of smaller stature. Then he's also had male strippers on pogo sticks. So his show is a lot of fun and way, way out there.

Q. What is the difference between you and Logo (another gay cable channel, which hasn't yet been added locally by Time Warner Cable)?

A. They're great . . . But because they (Logo) are on basic digital cable, anybody can tune it in. So they have to be very careful with their programming, about what they say, the topics they cover. They have to hedge the programming because they might be in homes where parents may not be as open to the gay and lesbian community.

On the other hand, we're a premium cable service. People subscribe to us. So we push the envelope.

I want to make it really clear: We don't do porn. But we can push the edge of a topic. We can talk in frank terms about sexually transmitted diseases. We can talk about violence in the (gay) community. We can take it to the next two or three levels in the content.

Yes buying back shares is tough to do when others are buying as well. That's why I said he'll be quiet. If there are no PRs and no promotional things run by QBID, then people will be selling and not buying. Once he's brought the O/S back down to 7 billion or so, he can release the audit and then it will really fly, but Frank isn't going to do that, and it'd take years to buy back even 40% of the O/S at .0001 if he wanted to do it quietly.

I would encourage those of you who are not intending to hold for several years plus to sell now. The likelihood of Frank selling and there being a R/S is very high right now. So high, it's pratically a guarantee.

This is an email I sent to Renew America regarding the article 'AOL is Censoring Me" by Guy Adams on 11/3/05 http://www.renewamerica.us/columns/adams/051103

Q TV was recently added to the channel line up in Rochester and Syracuse. In the recent artical "AOL is Censoring Me" a statement is made that, "It's also very well known that AOL/TimeWarner makes more porn (even homosexual porn) available than any other outlet. Just one example is their picking up of the [gay] "Q Television Network" which is only available through AOL/Time-Warner. They are the global leader in pornographic entertainment."
While I don't know if AOL/TimeWarner makes more porn available than any other outlet I can say that Q Television Network is not a producer of porn. QTN provides news, information and entertainment to the gay and lesbian community, not pornography.
It appears that your agenda may be to eradicate anything gay and lesbian. So be it. However, in this case regarding QTN the information you provided is not correct. Please review the channel lineup and you might consider visiting the website. http://qtelevision.com/site/

I got your joke . . . hope you got mine.

It doesn't matter to me if you have any of the things you've listed. I judge people on their personal qualities, not their possessions.

And based on what I know about you from your posts on this board, I just cannot make a decision about you. I admit you sometimes entertain me, but you also frustrate me with your "predictions" which do not come true . . . unless you are trying to being funny. If so, tell me ahead of time . . . I'm just too dense to get the joke.

Not trying to criticize you or fight with you. You have as much right as anyone to post here, and I don't believe in censorship. But help me to understand you. So far, I am very confused. [Confused] [Confused]

The 'Q' Quest': SU alumni hosts morning show on gay, lesbian startup cable network

tudying at Syracuse University in the early 1990s, Scott Withers didn't have any dreams of running a TV channel appealing to gay and lesbian viewers.

I sent mine, how about you?

Dear Mr. Guy Adams

I read your recent article about your censorship issue with AOL. I strongly believe that censorship on any level is wrong. We are privileged to live in a free country where the views of others are respected even when those views are not of our own. It is this respect that cements the very fabric of our free society. I wish you well in your censorship issue with AOL.
One point I would like to clarify is the statement that Q Television is pornographic. In truth it is not. The following is from Q Television:

“About Q Television
This 24/7 premium television network is organized to create, develop and feature television programming for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community, including live & interactive content every weeknight, plus sports, information and entertainment. While the company expects much of its subscriber base to be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will attract many other segments of the viewing public. The company's programming is available on a subscription basis to those desiring to subscribe. The network is telecast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Q Television Network is the official network of Gay Games® VII. The network is also ad-supported. For further information on programming and subscriptions, please visit www.qtelevision.com.

Thank you,
Jennifer B.
