2 buys totalling 250K - looking at $30 in commissions? you need to see .0008 just to make $45.00 - Not that theres anything wrong with $45.00 profit...The rest of us just want more profit, cause after all, profit's not a dirty word...

Polarbear you're ok man. We were just funning with you. Nobody was ever hurt by a profit, but boys I gotta tell ya I haven't laughed so hard in all my life with this conversation. It made the bad day a good one. You guys are tremendous!!!

Maybe you guys shouldn't try to figure someone else's commissions based on what you are paying. You shouldn't be ridiculing ANYONE. He has invested what he felt he could afford and what he wanted to invest in this stock. Why make fun of him? If this stock tanks to .0001 he'll be laughing at you guys. He'll be out $75 and you guys will have lost thousands.

jdog chill man - I don't think anyone meant any harm to polarbear. He is in on CWMF so we are all in this together. I wish there were some stocks that I had only put that kind of money in them because you're right, you lose your money fast. I have lost thousands before and it kills.

J - what I got from the FEMA info is that they have dramatically cut the bid process, and ar egenerally awarding contracts to (as much as possible) locals. Also, based on some news I heard today on the local radio, they are saying that contracts are being awarded in an average of 8 days. Now I'm not saying anything, but I would thinnk that if Damien had some contracts, we should know something by now, wouldn't you think? I'm hanging in for .0008 then out on Friday.

Jdog, I think you make a good point. To add to it, I think that if people who start in the market would start off with say $250 or $500 and see what they can do with it in penny stocks, there would not be so many with so little.

Jdog - I certainley have no room to talk, Shoot man, I've lost quite a bit myself, and should have also started out with smaller amounts initially. I'm way new in this game, and by no means meant any harm to polarbear. If I offended you polarbear, I sincerely apologize.

Good link, JMoove. Takes some digging, but you can see from the FEMA site that at least Guthrie is using the right lingo.
I tried to figure out how to verify that CWMF actually HAS a contractor number, to no avail. There is no way to search for contractors.

Bear in mind if this tanks to .0001 i lost only $75.00 but if it pops to say .001 i'll be up $175.00 minus my commsion of $5.00. A profit is profit.

so is this stock going to split in half on friday?
plus 50 free shares for every 100 shares?
am i right?
what exactly is a foward split?
what exactly does this mean?
Commonwealth American Financial Group Announces No Changes to the 50:100 Forward Split
Commonwealth American Financial Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CWMF) announces that the company will be going ahead as planned with the forward split set for Friday, September 30. The record date for the forward split is September 30, 2005. As of this date all shareholders on record will be issued an additional 50 shares of common stock for every 100 shares of common stock owned as of this date.
can anybody give me an example on 1000000 shares?

I hate to say it but this usually is a hype play. They offer free shares f/s and there is hopefully a run right before shareholders of record date is official because those trying to get the extra shares. But the big problem is that the o/s is now 50% larger then it was before meaning the PPS will decrease in price. ICAN was an example of that. My guess is those that sell if the hype run happens will be the winners here. Because those that hold for example the PPS is .0003 bid .0004 ask and after the f/s its .0002 - .0003 then really you are no better off and closer to the .0001 abyss.
If you have 1 million shares as your example states the you will own 1.5 million after the forward split.

wait till the f/s is announced on otc-other symbol/stock changes, that should happen today, suprisingly this stock is not on many peoples radar.

Johnny - from what I understand, if you have 1000000 shares now, after the split you would have 1500000 shares...someone PLEASE correct me if I am wrong. Polarbear, I hope things go well for you. I am a little worried myself, I have 6000000 shares, and if this thing tanks....well, I will be sc****d, blued, glued, and tattooed. Here's looking for GLTA!!

It only gets better from here people!!! Everyone has there opinion but let's face it MMS are going to be hurt in the short haul of this and that's where the money will be made. If you are thinking about buying now is a good opportunity. Not only that but CWMF has it's name in the hat for FEMA contracts and their is plenty of work to do in the states of Louisana, Texas, Mississippi

J - you seeing anything on the MMs activity? This seems a little strange, not a single share traded yet?

Big Red I agree this is kinda strange not to see any trading at all on this one, but I am in even through the split if necessary!!! All we need is one good PR - Guthrie give us some good news!!!

Well, .0002 is NOT what I was looking for 500k shares....I think someone is trying to spook us....anyone else care to comment?

I think they need a good pr with facts that they are actually doing something because the 2-1 split alone with this is not going to do anything.I agree with the CEO tryng to rally the troops but unfortunatly investers are very smart and can see beyond just hoopla and see what they are really doing.I am still going to hold because one of these days they are going to get a contract and when they do this is going to go.

you know its kinda sad, what people's expectations can be,,last fri on just a (ceo hype) about developing a plan to assist in the hurracaine cleanup EPYH shot up 83% this was just a (statement) thinking about a plan, not even contracts just a plan to assist. CWMF should climb up with a FEMA number and contracts (in) the works, almost completed, i would think that contracts are on the way, imo
