Just a question? Has anybody on this board been able to make a monthly income off penny tradeing. And if so how much of a cash amount would one need to make say $600 per month to cover my cost of living. I quit my job 2 1/2 years ago and moved across country with my wife to look after our handicapped mother-in-law.
As she was paying the bills we got free room and board for looking after her things were fine. But just last week she pasted away, And i really dont want to go job hunting ,or back to work . So if i could make enough tradeing then i wouldn't have too .Or am i being unrealistic.
Currently i have $150.00 in stock and another $150 cash in my Choicetrade account. [Smile]

will take time for you to make a living out of trading... build up that $300 to around $25,000... when your able to buy 6,000 shares of a good moving stock.. and it moves just .10 you just made your $600.. 6,000 X .01 = 60 per every .01 it moves up...

yes, you're being unrealistic.

intend no ill will, you unnerstand...but as much as you've asked these questions in different ways...you should get the message: No one here knows how to turn your $300 into the capital you need, to generate your subsistence cash flow.

If you wanna talk about what's left over from the estate that you can leverage into capital, several here will help. Mach has already posted, at least twice, methods and strategies you can use to raise cash. Personally? I think you continue to confuse "cash" with "capital."

Maybe you want 4art's link to "whywork.org" or whatever. There's also an easily found link to "bottomfeeders," detailing how various artists and creative types live with intermittent, part-time work...

I would say find a job and save as much as you can and put it into stocks. Thats what im doing. Im even working overtime to get more to put into my stock acount. I add as much as I can. If you do decent trading stocks with a few thousand you could make six hundred a month. But every month wont be the same. Also, having to be required to come up with money to pay your bills from stocks may influence you to make risky decisions that would cause losses. maybe consider also learning about nasdaq, nyse, amex, stocks. I read on another post that someone got Peter Leeds(some penny stock guru) penny buy list and tracked his picks. After six months this persons virtual portfolio was only up 9 percent. The nine percent probably didnt cover the cost of admission to get the list. I think your odds would be better and most people who have become millionares off the stock market did it off the more expensive stocks. I dont mean expensive as in 200 dollars but over the penny range. Also, I would recomend you really study this before using your hard earned money and just going all in. I learned the hard way years ago. Most people loose there money and a few win. As you know Machieveli has recomended some good books and I strongly recomend william J Oneils book How to making money in the stocks. Can you make a living off the stock market. Yes, but not with 300 dollars. It would be impossible to retire off 300 dollars. I suppose technically it could be possible. People who bought cisco at .14 cents before it went over 80 made a ton but lets get real. Having that happen is like winning the lottery.

Thanks every one , but treemoney your idea of getting a job is out of the question for now unless you know somebody that can push my application for a green card any faster.

Oh buytex ,i'll be lucky if me and my wife see a few hundred dollars of the estate , Mom had nothing , Except an old 3 bedroom house in south Chicago, but it needs about 10K of work in the inside before we could even think of selling it.
Thank god the house is paid for.

i can say one thing i intend to try ..
