Commonwealth American Financial Announces Final Joint Venture Negotiations
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Sep 21, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Commonwealth American Financial Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CWMF) announces that it is partnering with two demolition and environmental rehabilitation contractors to bid on rehabilitation work in the New Orleans, Biloxi Hurricane affected areas. The Joint Venture negotiations are being finalized between Hawkesbury River Funding of Texas, a wholly owned subsidiary of Commonwealth American Financial, and two existing corporations from the Texas and Kentucky regions. Both companies have extensive experience with demolition and environmental rehabilitation, and have existing materials and equipment established in the affected areas. While the mission of Commonwealth American Financial Group, Inc. is to invest in land development projects either as developer, joint venture partner, or lender and create mezzanine financing opportunities, the opportunities that are presenting themselves are such that companies like Architects, engineering companies, and debris removal companies need partners to fund their work which will be paid by either FEMA or private insurance carriers.
Damian Guthrie, president of Commonwealth American Financial Group, Inc. said: "Whilst it is early days in the clean up effort much work is yet to be carried out in the regions affected. Commonwealth American Financial is looking to establish a satellite office in the next few weeks in the New Orleans area to utilize as our communication point for contract negotiations and project management offices to enhance our presence."
The company will also grow by acquiring subsidiaries in related fields such as construction, real estate brokerage-appraisal-management, in Florida, Texas and Louisiana. The Company has established a website http://www.cwmf.net and trades under the symbol (Pink Sheets:CWMF).

I'd like to think so. I thought that afterhours trade at 6 would boost the open for this morning, but it appears that it didn't stick...

there is no such after hours trade==they move the ask up on purpose for protection after close and then drop it back in the morning

Slippery, the shares are not coming until next friday so I doubt you will see a major move this week. I feel like it will be happening Tues. and Wed. I could be wrong, but people want to make sure that nothing happens before then. Everybody wants to wait until the last min. to jump in. But when it happens you will have those that didn't jump in at the right time and they will be the ones driving the price out the roof, chasing the bid. The best note to go on though is the fact that since early last week you have not seen the ASK price at .0004 It is not going there. You have all of these guys selling at .0004. No one not even The MMS can't make money until it hits' .0005 so it will be taking off, just be patient and make sure you're buckled up for a quick take off!!!

I hope you're right. I guess I'd just like to see a trend. We've been bouncing back and forth between 4 and 5, and I guess I should be happy that we're now flirting with 6!

the bid is getting stronger at 3 and the bid is strong at 4, and buys are steadily coming in at 5(even though they are not getting of the ask) but these 3 things make me think this is going to explode very very very soon, sonner then we all think. yes the float is pretty big, but u have to remmember we have already had i thikn 2 days in the last few days where we have traded over 500 mil + if we get BIG news we will have huge 500 mil + volume for the whole week which means the whole float could be traded in a week or so!!
i thikn this will really blow i honestly am only watching this one looking for my 4th buy, i want 15 mil shares i am a greedy mofo, but i am pretty sure it will be worth it in the end
Goodluck

Just remember, while we all think this could really take off, it is still a penny stock (or a micro stock). Your shares could be worth nothing just as easy as they could be worth millions (if not easier).
I wouldn't throw ALL your money at it.
There will always be more oportunities just like this one after you take your profits from CWMF...

And by the way, Danny, I don't know your financial situation, but if you have 2 grand to toss on this one, more power to you...
I just don't want newbies (like myself) to get the impression that all the experienced guys are throwing every last penny at it like its a sure thing....

CWMF needs to come through with something substantial. The FEMA application was a good start. IMO they need to back it up better than they have so far.
CWMF is looking for joint ventures.
CWMF is talking to 2 parties about possible joint ventures.
IMO we need to see some completed deals that are going to bring in some revenues. I like the fact that they keep shareholders informed but I want to see something definite already.

I agree jdog. I want to see their efforts pay off. Unfortunately, they're working with the government which is notoriously slow in getting things accomplished...
