My Medical CD Issues an Update on its Strategic Partnership with ICM Telecommunications NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- My Medical CD, Ltd. (Pink Sheets:MYMC) developer of an interactive encoded mini-CD containing a person's emergency medical information and medical history, today announced its co-marketing agreement with ICM Telecommunications will include the product being introduced to ICM customers such as Ohio-based Sutton Bank and Antigua-based Global Bank of Commerce. The company also said its product could be offered to potential customers in Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, the Philippines and China through its collaboration with ICM.
The My Medical CD mini disc will be offered as a value-added product allowing customers who carry it to have their most up-to-date and accurate medical information with them no matter where they are.
"The rollout phase for our cutting-edge product to ICM's customers will begin immediately, giving us a unique and powerful distribution network," said James Hogan, president of My Medical CD, Ltd. "This partnership enhances our ability to deliver our mini medical CD to the marketplace. Our company is focused on expanding distribution channels, both retail and wholesale, for My Medical CD to increase our penetration to targeted markets."
About My Medical CD:
My Medical CD, Ltd., www.mymedicalcd.com , produces and markets an interactive mini-CD that contains a personal medical history encoded on the CD. The size enables it to be carried in the wallet, pocket, or purse. Benefits of the CD include: it can be read in seconds by emergency personnel, eliminates guesswork in treatment, reduces the possibility of long-term complications from emergency treatment, acts as a gateway to a database that contains the patient's entire file with important updates of events that took place after they received their CD, and enables attending physicians to have the patient's most recent records at their disposal.
