They are just going to get ripped off for 5% or more by check cashing places and banks.

That is such a bad idea, giving these people "hush money checks!" Half of them weren't in the best financial situation to begin with so the idea of 2,000$ debit cards seemed a nice sentiment but not all that well thought out. With a prepaid debit card you can buy electronics, cigarettes, lottery tickets, as well as food and such. However, at least you can't get cash, and can track what people spend it on.

But the checks idea?! C'mon! People will cash that and then they can spend it on anything they want!...
Lets see 10,000 adults @ least were relocated to the Houston Astro Dome & 2,000 USD per adult that comes to.... 20,000,000 million dollars!

$20,000,000 MILLION DOLLAR CRACK PARTY AT THE HOUSTON ASTRODOME!!!!

I'm not saying they all are going to blow it on crack but I'm just saying "What if?" to show a point...

Sorry to get off the topic of debit cards and how good that does look for ICMH.

Actually, some credit and debit cards can be limited as to what type of store you can purchase items..

i.e., my last employeer gave us corporate credit cards, which we could not use at electronics stores. Now, as a field engineer, I had on numerous occasion the need to buy switches and hubs and other electronics at which time I had to call the 1 800 # and inform them that a transaction was going to come through, and it would go. The point here is that there is the ability for credit card companies to deny purchases at "high risk" type stores!

The government cannot possibly understand or provide every specific need of the victims of Katrina. Food and Water is great, but what about someone who might need asthma medicine or a pair of prescription glasses?? It is very ignorant of you to even make the comment that grown adults in a crisis who have lost absolutely everything are going to spend it on drugs.

POOR DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY MEAN DRUG ADDICT!!!!!

Amen Youngface -- I think they are starting to realize how much better the cards are, as I have seen the news start to shift away from checks and more towrds them handing out cards as the day goes on. I am thinking (and hoping) that by the end of things there will have been a large proportion of cards in relation to checks.

1) it totally makes more sense, and
2) it is better for them, and
3) it is better for us.

What the heck, I love win win. Like I have said, it sucks that it happened first and foremost, but since it did, I've got no complaints about something that helps them and helps us.

I dont think America Bulls can make two BUY recomendations.

They already made a BUY recomend about 16 days ago.

The reason it says HOLD is purly because they want you to hold on to what you have, meaning dont sell.

They only make another Buy recomendations if the first one goes sour.

Well like I said, and what FOT just confirmed on a previous post, PPS ain't goin up unless the day/swing traders get back in on the action to give us solid volume and that's not going to happen until they feel confident enough to buy back in on speculation or they wait and "hold" tight until the PR actually comes out....

Probably gonna open myself up for alot of flames on this but...
The point is they could if given checks. The cards are a little stretch in the first place, because they are just throwing money at the problem.
"Oh sorry we ignored you the first 5 days while you were stuck in New Orleans, here is $2,000 dollars. That make you feel better?" Hell yeah it does, half of them are on gov't support (disbility, welfare, unemployment) and that is alot of money.
Why not take that $12 bil. and use that to fund medical programs down there, where they could provide albuterol or prescription glasses (Which im sure have been offered as donations) or take some of that money and give it to some of the volunteers that are down there helping out with their own money.
I'm not saying its the people that are responsible its FEMA and federal gov't all they way, and they know that. (gotta keep those republican votes somehow!)

LOL! I Agree! Directly, I am ABSOLUTELY optomistic about news!

Hey I forgot to mention -- I wouldn't get too excited for today -- the website still is not up. Of course we may get something before then in the beginning of a series, but I was kinda hoping by this morning we would see that puppy up...

Hey Lil - when did you talk to Dougie???

I just spoke to Doug.

He sighed when he realized I was an investor as he has been getting alot of phone calls lately.

I remained nice to him and he did open up and eventually give me a little info.

As I suspected, the last PR was a kind of "teaser", to get ICMH on people's radar. The next news release will be early next week and will pertain to an ALREADY signed contract. This signed contract will make all investors "VERY HAPPY" (and he said it in a way that he hopes he will stop receving so many investor phone calls).

I asked about the website launch, and he said some finishing touches are being made, and that the launch will be coordinated with the contract PR.

Doug became very upbeat and again stated that he is not and has not sold 1 single share since the agreement with Nutmeg was made! He made some comments about being very excited about what is happening and that many great things are in the works and ready to come to fruition. He siad those loyal investors holding on will not be disappointed.

well.. I was snooping around doing some more digging and have come across this!

Everyone knows that ICMH signed an agreement with ATCT some time ago...

Well, recently, ATCT released some news!

Affordable Telecommunications Completes Deal with Cash Now
Thursday September 1, 9:45 am ET
http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/050901/15460.html?.v=1

In that PR, it mentions CASH NOW.. and if you go to their website and click on "Enter the financial center" on the right hand side...
http://www.cashnow.com/index.shtml
It brings you to...
http://www.cashnow.com/finance_center.shtml

Then if you click on the Visa Signature Card, it takes you to...
http://www.cashnowcard.com/

And if you read this... it sounds very much like ICMH and their program!

It is starting to all make sense that the contract agreement may be with ATCT and Cash now!
