I think Dell had a bad quarter, and I think along with their new marketing stratagy with Ford, being able to advertise the next best thing in automated backup would throw the public a few curve balls and give DELL and NWPO(Spare) a little more public interest.
I don't know who FROGSTER knows and I suppose it's best that we don't, but I put my money on DELL news. With or without it the product will succeed(my hopes at least).
Honestly I would rather see a DELL PR on monday morning an hour before opening, that would give us an all week rally (IMO).
I run my own mobile computer techinician business, and I know many others who do the same. Spare would be a great subscription service for everyone in my field of work because I would be able to keep a storage of commonly used/needed files and programs on my Spare Backup account, and when I'm at the clients house/office just access it through their computer (many variables however - I would not entirely depend on spare).
Another scenario for this service would be the professional who works on His/Her desktop at home, then backs up to Spare, and while away on business or at the office makes adjustments or changes to that work and backs up to Spare... then is able to work with the updated files from both locations.
Now think of all the 14-23 year old computer geek/gamer/lan boy/enthusiasts out there... there are many. This group of people many of who I know, make it an event to get together, computer equipment and all, and have a giant battle vs each other. They play games and swap files all night long until the sunrise.
In this crowd you are likly to find 60% of them with a 128mb-2GB USB flash drive. (It's durable portable storage) USB flash drives are great, but Spare Backup just put a clinch in that market. The price of a 5GB USB flash drive is about $300 right now, that would be equivlent to 2 years of service of Spare Backup.
The place where Spare can start to target this enthusiast/gamer community is reputable hardware review sites(tomshardware.com , hardocp.com , techreport.com , tweaktown.com , pcper.com, and many others). Once they have that crowd, all other crowds will jump band wagon guaranteed.
Out of curiosity I sparked up a chat with Spare's "Live Help" :
quote: Establishing your chat, we'll be right with you. Welcome to Spare Backup Support. My Name is 'Buck' . How can I help? you: Hi, just wondering if Spare Backup software/service is MAC compatible? Buck: At this time, Spare Backup will only work on Windows 2000, XP, or Server 2003 you: Any idea when it might be MAC compatible? Buck: There is no time frame currently for compatiblity you: Okay, if I were to buy this from my local comp USA, what would I receive? Like a month of service included? Buck: Let me check on that for you, one sec you: Ok thanks Buck: Just a moment while I check on something. Buck: Currently that aspect is undetermined. More information will be available later on you: Ok, sure. you: Oh I see. you: Ok, well unless you could tell me if I would contact Dell support, or Spare support once Dell signs on with Spare, that would be my last and final question. Buck: To my knowledge you would contact us at Spare Support with any questions related to Spare. you: Okay, well you have been a good sport, appreciate it, thanks. Buck: Thank you. We are here 24/7 if you have any additional questions you: I got a ton of questions.. being a shareholder an all.. but I do not want to bore you with them, or get you fired. LoL have a good night Buck Buck: You too. We can assist you with any questions you may have you: I'll just wait for the press releases. The questions I want to ask are unfair, like, do you think Best Buy will also resell your product? And have you had any negotiations with Fry's Electronics, or Circuit City. Buck: Ah, yes. I wouldn't be able to answer those questions. I'm limited to software knowledge you: I see... well man you got to stress on your team to make it MAC compatible. Buck: I'll do my best you: Thanks, I'll let you go for now.. I really appreciate it, When I think of some relevant questions I know where to come. Buck: We'll be here you: K, thanks, bye.
You know I was hoping that He would tell me every deal Spare was finalizing right now, and their outlook for the following year.. but looks like I had high hopes
Anyways, I'm done thinking about it until Monday, gotta go wash my truck before the sun goes down. Thanks all.

Great effort on the live chat there Prophet. I agree on the Dell issue, their quarter was sub-par and IMO the longer the time frame between their earnings release last week and the Dell / NWPO deal if it's real, is a good thing.
Wouldn't a PR release during trading hours be a hoot?

I think many companies are waiting until next week or the first week of Sept. to publish their announcements b/c volume will be higher and investors will be back from vacation.
Also, the Q2 earnings season is just finishing. I think there is one company left to report. All in all, it was lackluster, so that puts an additionally muted sentiment on investments.

No that was not my sale, of 7500. Still holding so are my friends.
WE do believe if we continue to get these type of weak PR this will continue to go dow, but we are holding.
Wow, has anyone done a serach on that Dr from saudi Arabia. Itried Google and Yahoo, nothing comes up on him.
Now NWPO is selling to individuals. I have 7 friends trying the Sparebackup now, wish they (NWPO) can announce me as a partner, once I set my website with their link. That should be cool.
NWPO announces major partnership with "pensandoenti67.com"
Good luck, still trust the PRODUCT, we just need a strong PR with Numbers or the one Froggy has been saying.
