Hey everyone...I think the 50 billion share thing is a rumor becaue a few days ago on RB I saw a known basher over there who said he had received an email from Frank "by accident." In this 'email,' Frank supposedly said that he had 49 billion shares...then this guy says he phoned QTN and that Frank yelled at him for posting this 'email' on the Board...I think it is a hoax...
But just to check it out, (hubby encouraged me to do this), I did call QTN and Susan answered the phone...spoke with her about this new rumor development...She told me that Frank was out...that he'd been traveling all week and that he was very up-front about answering these types of questions. She ENCOURAGED me to call back on Monday for a share update. The problem is that I will not be able to phone...will be out of pocket for most of the day.
To sum it up, I think this is a rumor...the 50 billion shares....but when I mentioned it to Susan, she made it sound like we (investors) needed to clear that one quick...like talk to Frank and clarify shares numbers to ALL...rumors are trying to destroy QTN and I, for one, would like to have the outstanding shares numbers repeated and then WE can post the TRUTH here at Allstocks.
That's all that I know...LOL...must be honest, I actually had nightmares last night about the damn outstanding shares...so we definitely need clarification from Frank and then we will post that info here...lol
Certainly not trying to stir up a bee hive, but this topic was "RAGING" over on RB for the last few days...so, with that much talk, thought I needed to hear it from Frank's mouth...at least someone in the office.

the RB post was A/S not O/S the a/s could be 50 billion that doesn't mean anything as long as frank doesn't issue them and since it is up & running and since he has gotten money from other places there would be no reason to think he would. anyone can call the state gov. a company is incorporated in and get a/s. if q can get to .05 before it gets off the pinks i think it will be a wild ride.

authorized shares = a/s outstanding shares = o/s authorized shares are the number of shares the company can put into the market. outstanding shares are the number of shares the company has put into the market

the float is the most important. that equals the o/s minus the insiders shares & restricted shares. any insider has to report a sell or a buy for a reporting company. restricted shares cant be sold until the restriction is removed. in q's case the o/s is probably around 9 billion but if insiders & restricted shares = 5 billion then only 4 billion can be freely traded thus making it easier for the pps to move up or down. this is why our pps hasn't moved IMO nobody knows the share structure

.05 before it gets off the pinks? it has to get to at least a $1 and maintain it for 30 days before it can move to the nasdaq.
I dont see us moving to the BB with out a r/s of 10-1 or better. And Frank says he will not do a r/s while he is CEO.
so to get to the big boards I see a merger or a selling of the company once it hits between .05 -.10 and then a big r/s shortly after that. that is the only way you will see us listed on the big boards.
IMHO at least. im not trying to bash this I just cant see it going any other way to get out of the pinks

maybe your right penny but just getting reporting can move us to the otc and many companies on the otc sell for over $1. i might be wrong but i dont think there is a share cap on the otc

I just feel that the .05 is going to be a big hurdle. i posted the other day that there seems to be a lot of people that have the .05 figure in their head as a significant milestone.
Marco is the most recent to mention it. I have seen posts where Frank has been quoted as stating .05 as being all that the stock will do. and several others have made reference to .05 as being a selling point for them as well. Im not going to name anyone becasue im not trying to sling mud here. this has just been an observance of mine over the last 6 months i have seen that bench mark over and over again. It may be a coincedence, but that number has been talked about alot.

From what I heard, it doesn't have to be the Nasdaq or the big boards. It can simply be "the Boston Exchange".. Anything to get off the pinks and the goal was to have it at .05 before applying in January.

BTW, I tend to agree with you about the .05...that has been mentioned quite a few times within the last 6 months or so...I've said this before, but I'll be thrilled with .025-.03...I'm soooo easy to please. I also would hope that we move off of pinks sooner rather than later...QTN gains more credibility to the financial world with that one success!

Microstock...some say .02, others say .05 (popular point) and then there's the $1.00 scenario...use your best judgement...Keep in mind there will many surges and declines in pps...so play the game until you reach your goal...That's just my opinion. Personally, I'd be happy with .025-.03
You guys been reading other boards today? Man, they are wacko on the RB Board...bashers are out in full force...continuing the talk about a/s shares...don't be surprised if we see an initial drop in pps Monday morning (without pr)then shares will rebound in anticipation of another press release. (My opinion, of course ) I can't believe that bashers of that magnitude can be legal.
Even my Mom (who associates "share" with being generous) would question the screaming caps posts and the timing of his attacks.
Sunny, RB has been accused of being, in additiion to other things, a pump and dump.
I found it to be a bash and laugh all the way to the bank. An example would be ALTI last fall. They bashed and bashed. A lot of people sold around $1.30 right before it went to around $4.
The intensity of their bashing influenced me to question their motives and hold another two months.
Now, less than two weeks from October 1, they are hitting QBID hard. I find that very, very reassuring.
I have made some mistakes in buying and selling. I have learned much here, and have much more to learn about trends, charts even terms used.
However, in my experience, intense bashing has been the most consistent predictor of a jump in pps. We just don't exactly when it will happen.
We are kinda like the Wright brothers before their historic flight. Many ridiculed and predicted failure based on their prior attempts.
They ignored the small steps of progress that the brothers were building up for the success.
The naysayers stuck with their predictions.
Why? Perhaps it was lack of vision or reluctance to admit that they had been wrong or even that they held religious views that God didn't want us to fly.
Fastforward to QBID:
Yes, there is still much work to be done. Progress is slow but steady.
We have a CEO that has made mistakes AND has learned from them.
Our primary audience is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to purchase our product.
Why would anyone who owns property where an interstate is coming through, sell to his neighbor 10 days before getting other offers?
Better question: Why would the neighbor make the offer?

Pharm...I, ummm, even wear a helmet for heavy turbulence...LOL! Might I encourage you to invest in one, too?
Hope you are right Suz...this is not a cop-out but I really do think MMs are playing with QBID right now...think they are loading up on shares sold and because not many are selling, we are in a 'holding' pattern...my opinion again.
