thanks all, he was an extrordinary 26 year old kid, who loved to invest and was very excited over the propects with the Q. He was a good looking kid, single, in great shape. He was on his way to work on his sport bike when a mini van pulled right into his lane making a left hand turn. We figure he saw the van and never expected her to turn right into him, there was no skid marks. Life is just not fair sometimes. I am still numb.

Just curious on the feed back.
Thanks, Chuck
I suppose I could use the old stand by of MM manipulation, but I won't.
I think the investing community is taking a wait and see attitude. There have been a number of issues (delays in start up, not announcing any manor advertisers or carriers) that I think need to be addressed before most potential investors are ready to jump in. And I think some of this may need to come from PRs by the "other" parties. We need to see a PR from RCN announcing QTN is on the air and in what markets. Reference to this on the RCN web site would help in this regard. So maybe it's more a need of confirmation that the PR is accurate direct from other QUALIFIED parties.
I think also that those who are willing to take a risk on QBID are already in and holding. Current activity might be mostly day trading or a balance between those ready to bail and those ready to jump in.
All this is just my opinion of course. I don't know any more than anybody else what's really happening. I think we need a MAJOR positive PR (a major carrier agrees to distribute, or major advertiser anounced) to get this going again.

Just caught up reading. Wow, sonny - very sorry to hear the news. Can I assume your friend didn't post here, by the fact that you didn't mention it?
Profit - Couldn't you find the PR on the Yahoo link I posted for you?

Sonny, I feel your pain. Reading your post brought back bad, bad memories. Time does not heal all wounds. However, they live forever in our memories. My thoughts are with you and all of those whose lives were touched by this fine young man. Blessings of peace... ..

Family Values" Groups Target P&G For Boycotts
Reported by: A.P. Web produced by: Neil Relyea Photographed by: 9News 9/17/04 12:19:05 PM Two "family-values" organizations are urging their followers to boycott two Procter and Gamble Company products, Crest toothpaste and Tide detergent.
Focus on the Family and the American Family Association say that Procter and Gamble is tacitly supporting gay marriage and the "homosexual political agenda."
P&G says that claim is wrong and that the Cincinnati-based company has told them so.
P&G says it supports a November ballot issue in Cincinnati to repeal a 1993 city charter amendment which forbids Cincinnati to enact or enforce laws based on sexual orientation.
The company says that amendment is unfair, but that P&G hasn't taken any position on gay marriage -- and will not.
Everyone buy lots of Crest and Tide this weekend.. When do you think they will be after Q.

again, thanks so much to all, I know this is not the proper place to air personal problems but you had to realize his passion for stocks and especially QBID which I turned him on to. I actually bought his first QBID under my account until his was up and running and then we transferred. He did not post here under his own handle, but often used mine to ask a question or post a comment. (he was the one that couldn't spell worth a s-it) Sorry I will not try to brng anyone down anymore today, thanks again for all your concern, many that have responded today were characters he had fun reading.

Hey, sonny, we're kinda like a family here - dysfunctional, but none-the-less a family. We're here for you.

Sonny, sorry to hear about your friend. Life is too short. I learned a long time ago, not to sweat the little things, stop and smell the roses and enjoy the little things life offers. I'll pray for him, his family as well as you and his other friends that will be mourning.
It is very informative and was put together very nicely. You can get most of the Q history there. I don't really want to start an argument that seems to repeat itself time and again over here. I'm sure after reading that thread, you will understand a lot of my concerns. Although not all of them are covered there, I'm sure you'll get most of it.
I will say that although I am concerned with Q's outlook, don't take what U4TSAF2 says seriously. Much of what he says has truth behind it, but he likes to put his own spin on it.
I would also direct you to what RobinO posts.
He/She seems to present the similar concerns I have in a much better way than UTSAF2 does.
RobinO has posted on this thread many times, so you won't have to go back too far to find it.
Most of my posts about my concerns are from many threads ago and would probably take you a while to find. Come to your own conclusions and regardless to what you decide, always listen to both sides of what people on here post, especially to the people you disagree with. If you disagree with someones point of view on here, just know why you don't agree with them. Don't blindly believe one side or the other because its what you want to believe. Hope that helps, and I hope you understand me not wanting to start another war on here.
$cashmaker$, you are correct, kbpkt is very, very knowledgeable about mm's activities.
He says that he does not own QBID, has made some money on it, and suddenly shows up with his concern for QBID shareholders just when the good news starts rolling out.
He's correct--it would take a long time to find his QBID posts prior to September.
He warns here, pumps there and offers to guide ultra naive "newbies" who ask "innocent" questions that open the door to his "wisdom". 1,2 pow! and 1,2, and 3 for backup.
Read through last night's post--according to him, those who hold long will lose.

You're not bringing anyone down. I gave my kids an extra hug after reading your post. It made me think about what's important in my life. I think it took courage to share your feelings with us. Thanks

The youngman has the priority to use the lane. Apparently, the children were late for school. That's the main cause. Sigh!!!

--FCI will also be creating 40 documentaries on gay and lesbian celebrities which will add a great deal of value to Q TV. These documentaries will be timeless television which will be a great asset for the Q TV library of films.--
That will definitely be good for Qtelevision...getting documentaries on G/L celebrities. Wonder who they will be...hmmmm
The programming keeps getting better and more interesting.

It says --40 documentaries-- WOW that's alot. This is definitely an area of never before seen programming. Should even get the attention of non G/L viewers....and alot of press coverage to boot.

I don't expect the stock to break resistance until the network is functioning like a "network" I think it's a long and will take time. Most the PR is intangible and non-existent to the outside world. When people can see Q "for real" then the stock will take off. (I think?)

Suz- Still laughing over here. You can always tell when someone has made you look like the fool you are. You lied, got called out on it, proven wrong, and continue to push the envelope. So instead of sticking to the subject of debate, you tried to divert attention away from the argument by making an ignorant comment that I am sexist. Pulling the gender card, an obvious sign of defeat. Then you continue to try and bring other members of the board into our disagreement. How long is it going to take you to realize that they want no part of it. Not one single person has chimed in on our posts. Get over it, and yourself for that matter. You seem to follow my posts pretty closely. If that is the case, then you know that I always try and help people that pose questions about trading. I don't profess to be a stock genius, but I have been trading for a while and do know a thing or two about stocks, while making some good money in the process. I have been a member of Allstocks since early 2000, and along the way, I have asked many questions, including one to you on the GMED thread about their clinical trials, and gotten help from many people. You'll notice that when I was talking to that guy last night, I directed him to a few places, but never in the process did I bash QBID. I also told him to come to his own conclusions and to ignore what U4TSAF2 posts. Objectivity is not a bad thing, or a quality that you possess. You obviously read my post, so I don't need to paraphrase the whole thing, but reading and understanding it are two different things. You obviously don't get it. The post that Chuck brought over here was from a completely differernt thread. Notice in my post from last night, I said 99.9% of pennies stocks are trash, thats why they are pennies. I also said that there are a few exceptions. On another post last night, I also stated that I am torn about QBID right now. If you are going to criticize me, at least tell the whole story, not just the parts that fit your idea about me. If you have not noticed by now, you seem to be the only person who has a problem with me. I disagree with many people on here, and with the exception of you, I have always had a constructive disagreement with them. No hard feelings have ever been involved with me and any person who I don't agree with, you being the exception. Its not because I have any hard feelings against you, why would I? I'm not the one who posts lies and gets caught. That would be you, and obviously you have a problem getting caught in your own web of lies. Like I said before, get over it, its not that big of a deal. Stop trying to bring other people into your campaign against me, no one is interested. I can tell by your posts that you are the type of person who feels the need to get the last word in. Thats fine, post your reply to this and then move on. You can have the last word. I made my points about you in this, and previous posts. I made my point to you and all the other people who are tired of reading our squabble. The more you post about me, the dumber you look. Especially by posting irrelevant things, and criticizing me for helping other people on this, or any other thread. I have always helped people on here, and always will. You won't change that, but good luck trying. Hopefully after you make your probably less than intelligent reply, you can move on.
