Yes, you are both right. Sure is amazing how movie culture has become a part of the vernacular. When I hear Jaws, I think of "Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water." Life does seem to imitate art.

As I had posted ealier, I was playing around with HTML and decided to try to make the (cheesey) QTN website look more attractive. I originally had it on geocit ies but because of popups its now on my memberspace on cox. I tweaked it up and added some stuff on the sign-up and programs pages. http://members.cox.net/pootpoot/index.html
This was very simple to do, so hopefully QTN will update theirs soon!

(a pretty big shot from what i can tell). anyway he is headed to ny tomorrow to finalize a new job with a co. that is often talked about here (a giant in the media bus. nbc, bravo,etc). i have informed him of the upcoming Q launch and asked him to see what he could find out for me, i dont know if he will or if he would tell me. he did look up qbid today and said that yesterdays pr was very impressive and asked me more about it. he said sales and ads are what will make it fly. i mentioned the name Scott Seger and his face lit up. he knows the man personally and has done bus. with him in the past. he then said that if he were going to hire someone for a new tv station that scott would be his man. he said that if scott cant promote Q then nobody can. i will see him this weekend and ask if he has any info for me. i will post anything i get from him. GO QBID!!!

We will delay till October like I have posted last week BUT who really cares ? Because this will only be a temporarily drop in PPS but what really should matter at this point in time is that we will be launching this network very soon with what it looks like to be some pretty decent programming for such small company. Let's get real and not forget where we came from and constantly be caught up in dreamland dreaming of turning our half a penny shares into gold overnight because we won't and it is not fair to assume we will to our fellow shareholders and to the Network itself. So let's stay positive and focused because NOT one TV Network in history has gotten successful overnight without putting up a struggle and hard work to achieve just that goal. Especially being in such upcoming niche market that most certainly looks to be a highly potential one.
Let's get realistic about this and keep up the commitment and stay united as shareholders without all that infantile fighting and crying and pointing of fingers at every little sceptic thought expressed about this. Only by staying focused and upbeat and tolerant towards criticism will we be able to prevail and succeed in our common venture of turning this into something real special

OK Here's The Friday Update
Saturday September 4th QTN will send it's signal to RCN cable for distribution. RCN is then under contract to sell QTN to it's subscribers. When the channel will hit each city is out of QTN hands. The way to get this turned on in your city is to blast RCN with phone calls to SUBSCRIBE TO THE CHANNEL. Not find out info SUBSCRIBE TO THE CHANNEL
TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW WITH THE RCN SYSTEM TO CALL RCN AND SAY YOU WANT THE CHANNEL RIGHT NOW. THERE IS NO DELAY FROM QTN. RCN HAS NOT TRAINED THERE PHONE PEOPLE YET THAT IS WHY WE HAVE CONFLICTING REPORTS. BOTTOM LINE SWITCH CARRIERS AND CALL RCN TO ORDER QTN AVAILABLE SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 4TH 2004.

i know this is a day late but Daytraders dont hold stocks over night and they start dumping them aroun 2 pm wether they are ahead or behind. that is the way they do it. Sometimes they wi sometimes they loose but the real serious daytraders dont hold them over night.

She replied very quickly, "yes, we're very familiar with Q and our memo states that it will be offered this month (meaning september)." I asked her when exactly this month, she said the memo didnt say the exact date but she assumed beginning of the month because of the sense of urgency that the memo was distributed to representatives. I live in Fresno, CA, but i told her i had a friend in SF who was interested and I was hoping that service would extend to my area soon. She said that the channel would launch to all of their markets at the same time, but said that they only offer dial-up internet in fresno as of this time.
Take it for what you wish, but I never pump a stock and I did not make this up. It sounds like we're finally going to see the promised land.---and by the way, i subscribe to dish network (see my previous posts on calling/emailing dishnetwork reps and requesting Q). i'm long on qbid since early march of this year.
Just doing my DD and i appreciate any useful DD from you folks that I've read in the past. Let's keep exchanging ideas and thoughts on this great company.

I too hope this one is real. More & more people have gotten positive responses from RCN & even if they do not launch on the 4th I'm holding. Furthermore if we dip I'll buy some more to swing trade as I refuse to let my core position go. So help me God I;ve got a core that I intend to hold for about two years just to see where it takes me.

Just wanted to share a quick stock funny that happened to me last night. My husband and I own an electrical business. One of our clients is gay. Him and his partner were having a little get together at their home and invited us over. I was about 15 feet from my husband as he was talking with our client and a few other people, I could hear one of them mention the market and how they were hoping for a turn around. When I suddenly hear my darling BIG MOUTH say, "HEY, My wife owns a GAY STOCK". I just about spit my wine all over everyone. God himself walking in the door could not have silenced a room quicker. I just began to laugh so loud and hard, I couldn't help myself. It became the topic of the evening and everyone enjoyed hearing about QBID. We all left talking about the Gay stock. On the way home I could not resist giggling about my husband and tried to explain to him the stock is not gay. People are gay but, I knew what he meant.
Just a little funny I wanted to share. Gotta' love this man. Just needed to add that I did thank him as I was looking for the perfect opportunity to bring up QTN and he really broke the ice for me.

lilpenny - great story. We have 2 things in common. We both are Electricians, and we like talking about a gay stock. LOL Since I owned QBID and made a decent profit in April, I haven't looked for for customers and tried to complete the current jobs.. Hopefully we won't have to do it for long.
