I know that one has to do his/her own DD but, Does QBID have the fundamentals to go to $1 or are you being optimistic? I'm not trying to put you on the spot. I am still considering whether to invest in QBID. Thanks

last week the NFL channel showed up on my comcast, yesterday comcast told us about it. it ran a week before they said anything. the same may happen with RCN if the contract calls for them to start on the 4th or 5th it may be there and then RCN start selling it. if anyone has RCN as a digital provider you might want to start channel surfing this weekend for new unannounced channels

Feeling good about QTN! Six months ago, we were hoping that Frank and company were really going to do what they were telling us. In May if someone told me that all plans had been fulfilled to this point and the stock price would still be under a penny I probably would have responded that they were full of it. The price will catch up to the products value, and we are about to open the package!

Regarding QTV and Cox Sports having the same "audio" number on the http://www.lyngsat.com/ia7.html site, I wrote the webmaster and have now received the reply. Here is what I sent and what he replied:
Me: I don't know if this is an error but it seems odd. Both Cox Sports TV and Q TV Network have the same NID-TID Audio: 1120 E. Is this possible?
Him: The NID and TIDs are unknown, but they both have the same APID, right.

Thank you so much GatorMan for following up on this. Yesterday I thanked Whiz for Iz's post about it. Seems like my brain is on automatic pilot--steering toward QBID!

This may interest you guys... I was looking through my Direct TV telivision lineup last night when I was watching TV and I noticed something new. Two new channals directly next to the HBO set of channals. I am not sure what the channals are going to be but they say "Channal Broadcast Test A" and "Channal Broadcast Test B" I just thought this was interesting because yesterday was the first day these channals have been on the programing list. I just thought maybe they could be test channals for Q. Then again maybe not.. Just thought I would see what you guys think.. Does anyone know about the availabiltity of Q on DTV or has anyone hear if any satillite companys are going to carry it?

PR Friday. QBID launch signal available 9/4. RCN to carry QTN late September/Early October...starting with New York!
Just talked to QTelevision , all system go , Launch sept,4th saturday , will be carried by RCN in certain areas. all locations should be covered by end of the month..Saturday many viewers will be able to watch QTN in some areas , they are very excited we going to have very important update tomorrow , the first News of its kind in history of the company...GLTA
P.S That confirms what RCN told me yesterday that we will be able to watch QTN in Boston on sept , 4th ...

Comcast new programing begins Sept. 15--with five new faith/family networks in my area. We have two new movies/leased access, 45 additional (beyond basic) music channels including an adult alternative, five Playboy (Spanish also), Hot Choice type pay per views, zillions of sports channels. . and no QTN. September 5 is the preview day for the new programs.

I can state this as a fact: This is the way DTV tests channels, however it is usually hidden from a typical subscribers guide.
It is interesting that it is in the 500 block which is generally where other monthly pay channels are.

If i can remember correctly i think that the two channals were directly before HBO channals... maybe 500 & 501 or 502... something like that... if anyone else has direct tv they should check it out and see if they can see it too...

Hey everyone...taking 1Big's advice and walking away from the computer more these days for sanity....anyway, just checked in and saw that volume is up to about 60 million but pps are firmly sitting at 0055 still.
