Yes, Whiz--it will go crazy!!!. It will be tempting to sell low, but I'm not moving beyond my investment until we see a buck. I'm adding this week too. It's just a matter of time before subpennyland disappears.
LilPenny, do you remember that Lj. . . whatever he called himself.. started out nice. That's the pattern. If you read back through the threads there are others who work the same scam. Some revealed themselves last week, but that's gone now.

Do ya'll think there will be a panic sell off tuesday and the pps will get near .004. If so I think I will sell early on tuesday and buy back later in the day. What do yall think.

I did a little DD on both names on this board and came up with the following and posted it back to him.

I don't know if you really have multipersonality disorder or what. Your post's as kumojinaha have, thus far been polite and informative. Let's keep it that way. XXX will NOT put up with the CRAP LT1 caused on the other board with member insults and grammer school BS.
I don't like and will not play games with you. If you start your crap here, You will surely be banned. Just a warning. Either Keep it nice with me or keep away from me. I'm PMS'ing again."

I work in the entertainment field (albeit on the fringes) and I see delay after delay and they mean nothing except that there are a million little things that need to happen to get a product out, and as long as they are moving forward it is usually okay. QTN seems more and more like the real deal to me the more we chug along. In fact, if they hit their marks too often, I'd start to be suspicious. There is almost no such thing as a concrete schedule in the entertainment industry. "Hurry up and wait" is the motto I hear every day. A technical problem is the most common reason for a delay, like we seem to have here, and they mean nothing in the long run. They can always be worked out. I only worry when I hear issues about the budget, or with agreements that just can't be reached. And even then, forward momentum is the main indicator. (We've finish commercials and sometimes entire movies before we actually sign the final contracts! That's how fluid these things are.) If they have deals and are moving forward with the work, that's as good as it gets sometimes in entertainment. If I wanted hard facts about every date and deal, I would invest in widgets, but never never never in entertainment.
I'm taking this opportunity to try and join my Q family here in the million share club this week. I was start to feel like I wouldn't get the chance (I'm almost there!) but this delay could do the trick for me. Everyone enjoy the rest of their weekend.

We would all be so appreciative of this...I remember reading a few of your posts a few months ago...Glad to see you are back.
To answer your questions: I have not seen commercials that advertise products or services. Last night they had Public Service Announcements (PSA) only. One was the guy calling for an apartment in different voices, one for Voter Registration, one for the United Negro College Fund, etc.
I had 2 movies during my shift that came from the Time Warner library; "Aunt Mame" & "Norman, Is That You?".
I had two programs that are produced by QTN, mostly about Gay rights and Gay Marriage.
Also aired a music program. A bunch of video music clips narrated by an Video Jockey.
That was the first 8 hours of "official" programming.

i can't cut and paste the text, but it is basically the Aug 31 PR titled "Acquires Film Package from Warner Bros.."
Edit: just to be clear. this is a paid ad. not an article.

I'll be waitin' on your .004 shares. It is the right time, it is the real thing. Hope a little panic hits and I can load up on a few more. Call it pumping if you will but I'm betting the farm on this one this time.

foxy...now that post caught my attention and off to Harvard Square I went, double parked, with a policeman on every block and a 1/2...and flew in to get the copy...here I am sitting looking at our little Q on page T5...with the 8/31 PR listed along side the other companies under Current Corporate Reports (Company News Of Interest To Investors)...I can't breathe!!!!!! thanks for bringing this to this board.....

Re: Barrons. I am excited to see Q in such a respected paper. I have to add though that this is not an advertisement. It is a short piece in the Company Report section about Q acquiring new films from Time Warner.
Just don't want people thinking Q took out ad space in Barrons.

realmoney...the 8/31 PR in Barron's 9/6 issue is listed under the Special Advertising Section. On this same page along with other corporate companies (as you can probably see if you are looking at it)it says to place your advertisement call and it gives a phone #...
so it's the full 8/31 PR, along with other companies 7 other companies, are listed under this Special Advertising Section..the question is who advertised it?

Semantics again Skunks. When people think "ad" they think it is going to be Q in big letters with info on how to subscribe. When they actually see what this is, it is my opinion that they will say "oh, we already read that in the pr"
I just don't want people getting to thinking it is a full blown ad. I agree it would be nice to find out who put the info in there, but at this point I don't really care. It is in there. Let's move on.

a little background on the small network i posted about a few days ago. its in trouble right now because it can't fill 24/7. it has too many infomercials so its losing carriers. the good news? in the first couple yrs it hit a high of $11 pps. being q is a nitch market it probably won't see that but 20% would be nice.

Im sad to hear about the delay again but i believe that we are still ready for a big launch into orbit. hopefully this is only a small delay and things will fly this week or early next week. any longer then that and the ones that are already nervous of this stock are going to get more jittery.
I may be able to load up again this thursday if they manage to delay that long. Im getting there i now have 427,000 shares with my last purchase on Thursday.
im hoping to get up over 500,000 shares this week if the sale is extended till payday
im off to Toronto for the next 8 weeks for training for my latest promotion at work. I will be living in a hotel for 8 weeks so i should have lots of time in the evenings to do DD and watch us all get rich together.

50 times better than paying for an ad when a leading financial mag like Barron's so much as mentions our existence.
I like to call it validation!
"All we ever had to do is launch!"
I agree. Anything that gets QBID's name out is great. I just wanted to post all sides of this development and let everyone decide on their own. The investors should look at all sides, the good and the bad, and make their decision from that. If you only look at the good things, you're going to get burnt eventually. After saying that, I still think this is a good investment and the "ad" is a good thing. The more people that know about QBID the better. But I am watching this very closely and keeping my trigger finger close to the sell button. GLTA
