Scott Seger Vice President Television Advertising Sales Q Television Network
Scott T. Seger is the Vice President, Television Advertising Sales for Q Television Network. Mr. Seger received a B.S. in Economics and Chemistry from Allegheny College, in Meadville, Pennsylvania. From 1985 to 1992 held positions in the New York advertising business starting in the Media Planning Department at Grey Advertising working on national television and print media planning for Kenner Toys. Following a move into Account Management, Mr. Seger ran the Bank of New York account at Ally & Gargano Advertising and then moved to run the national television and print campaign for the introduction of Rogaine from The Upjohn Company. Thereafter, Mr. Seger was Account Supervisor at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising working on the national television, print and radio advertising and marketing campaigns for a number of brands from the Sara Lee Corporation’s Leggs Hosiery division, including the campaigns for the Corporation’s flagship Sheer Energy brand.
Moving to Wall Street in 1993, Mr. Seger held successive senior positions in Institutional Equity Research Sales at such firms as Oppenheimer & Co and Credit Lyonnais Securities. Following a specialty developed in marketing stock research in Latin American companies, he held a senior sales position at Banco Espirito Santo launching the marketing drive to introduce the firm’s equity research product into the US markets. Most recently, Mr. Seger has run his own business marketing research and trading services to hedge funds around the US and abroad, and has developed and cultivated many important contacts in the hedge fund community both in New York City and outside.
It is interesting to note that Mr. Seger comes from a broadcasting family. His father, Tom Seger, was a well-known producer and director starting in television at KDKA TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and then founding the first mobile television production services company which provided remote broadcast services to many hundreds of professional football and baseball events
Mr. Seger currently resides in the Carnegie Hill area of New York City.

Such events include corporate restructurings (e.g. spin-offs, acquisitions), stock buybacks, bond upgrades, and earnings surprises. This strategy is also known as event-driven investing.

I would love to play this run, but I don't see any reason why this happening. Until I do, I'm still on the sidelines watching. Congrats to those playing this right now.

Somebody wrote like a week ago that news or *something* would be here on or around the eighth? Anyone remember the post I am referring to? They said, well I am off to play golf, be back on the 8th... it's the 8th and now we are up almost 20%+ with a bigger spread... hmmmm... What are the odds we get a Friday PR to mull over the weekend?
