ok i haven't posted here in a while but i got this from the guy at qbid who answers the 760-323-4455 number. the launch will occur between tomorrow and the 6th! yesterday he told me the first for sure and today he could not. as far as anyone being able to get the channel tomorrow or when we launch, he said that is entirely up to the carriers and when THEY chose to make it available. He also mentioned that carriers have been signed and they are working with more to finalize them. Just call and ask.

Tuesday is 20% OFF day at the Bath House near Marina Del Rey.......

Pouring gin in a glass with 7-Up and ice forms a solution..... & We're going to look at used LA metro busses we can't afford to convert to mobile bath houses....

That would be an interesting test. Not that it would ever happen, but to see if all the pumpers went away for a week how the PPS would react, then have all the people who have posted negative things about Q go away and see how how the PPS reacts then. Just let everyone react to QBID by their own uninfluenced opinion. My opinion is that with what Q is doing right now, it would be down a lot more.

Do not hold your breath my man!!!.....The July 1st launch is iffier than JLo staying married through the end of the year.....Just keep thinking 3rd quarter, not July 1st.....JMHO

DID i miss something i thought they said the hard launcho you know the one that we will see will be in the fall.. Fall is september for those of you who didnt know another 2 months of holding

if anyone happened to read the atricle on how hard it is to get comcast to add a station to its programing list you would see that if it launchs there is no way Q can come up with any kind of set date. the one good thing that article said was that comcast was much more open too VOD type channels...does that stuff about $10 a month ring any bells?... thats what VOD is all about. with the alternet lifestyles angle it would fit in with what comcast would be looking for. for Q to do well at all they need comcast, it would open the doors to all the other cable networks in the country much easier. as for direct tv, they have just over 8 million veiwers which means when you factor in the % of the country that would want Q you cut the possible months checks a lot. i would think that a big chunk of satillite tv goes to farm lands, rural areas and not as much in bigger citys not your perfect QTN market but thats just my opionion... i did double my qbid monday just before the bottom fell of course but thats becauce they said last week we would get launch info this week. (50,000 to 100,000 not 1 to 4 shares by the way)

Alert Message Institutional holdings of this company increased significantly
Alert Definition This alert signals an increase of at least 5% in institutional holdings of a company's stock. Financial institutions like banks, insurance companies, hedge funds and pension trusts own the vast majority of shares of stocks around the world. As an example, the largest public mutual fund that only owns shares of companies in the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index -- the Vanguard Index Trust 500 Portfolio -- has less than $50 billion in assets. In contrast, the world’s financial institutions are estimated to hold more than $600 billion worth of S&P 500 stocks.
These financial institutions have the best investment research in the world available to them, and regularly visit the management team of companies in which they buy shares. Consequently, they are considered to be the "smart money" that everyone talks about.
When these institutions decide to invest in a company, the move is generally considered to put a stamp of approval on the firm’s prospects. Every time that institutional ownership increases, moreover, the stamp of approval becomes firmer.
Increasing institutional ownership has the further effect of stabilizing the price of a stock, and creating a "floor" for its value. That’s because an institution that buys 5% of a company’s outstanding stock takes those shares out of circulation for some time, diminishing the number available for others to buy. Investors who want to buy the stock subsequently must fight over a diminished supply -- a situation that tends to make the stock dearer.
By itself, however, an increase in institutional ownership is not a reason to buy or hold a stock. It is just a clue that the stock is in demand by some pretty smart folks. To determine which large institutions hold this stock, check Form 13-D and Form 13-G SEC filings in Stock Research. Any owner of more than 5% of a stock must tell the government -- and, by extension, you -- of any changes in their holdings within 10 days.
Note that institutional ownership is less of a factor for small- and medium-cap stocks. Since large institutions tend to take large positions, they tend to invest in large companies.

Re-read the last hotline update. The reference to "FALL" was to suggest that BY FALL they would have enough carriers to cover a majority of the US. Launch is scheduled sooner than that

Is there a page 25? Couldn't get it. May I add a new term to the definition list? I'm not a pumper or a basher or even a daytrader--I'm trying to be a "profiteer". I'm sorely aware of the major risks with any stocks--not just pink sheets. Could we move forward? I'm on this site for new information and insight, and I do appreciate facts and thoughtful reasoning. July 16 was stated as a special date by PT. If it's insider info, I don't want to know. Otherwise, why not be straightforward and fill in the blanks? The pr's mention of Michael's engineering a stock buyback caught my attention. A buyback was original;y planned for October...right? July, August and September more carriers and the subscribers get on board before the offer? I particularly noticed that his buyback was taxfree. Anyone know how that works?

The 16th was answered by Dragon master a Day or 2 ago. there has been discussion on that as well.

July 16th is when the time they have payed for on the satelite expires. DragonMaster and PT explained a couple pages back. Their explanation explains the importance of that date. I would refer you to their posts.

We had a pr that said we had paid NTI 50 thousand dollars for the first and last months use of the satellite feed they set up for the Q. Transmission started on the 15th Day of May. On the 15th Day of July the two months of payment will end. Therefore unless an additional 25K dollars per month is paid the signal will stop.

Thank you for the information--soon as I get my computer kicked up, I will go back and re-read it and 10 others. I do remember the discussion about the satelite and may have posted about the funding. I don't think he was implying they would forget, but that they wouldn't. Some of us, including myself, have major doubts about Q's intentions. By setting up this sattelite signal for 2 months and broadcasting something that people can see, most assumed they would launch, or that was the launch. IF (I emphasize IF) this is a scam, which obviously some people feel it is, especially recently as a reflection of the PPS, that could trick a lot of people by broadcasting something. I myself after hearing the reports of that broadcast felt reasured. Obviously, my opinion has changed about Q for the worse. As far as we know, and until Q says otherwise, that signal expires on July 16th. It is by then that they will have payed the sattelite company more money ($25,000 a month) to keep it going.

kb pt, I could agree with your speculation if I owned stock in a competing network. However, why would Frank settle for pocket change when he can make it really big? If anyone has ever had the blessing/curse to do even community theater, they probably understand 1/000,000,000,000,000% of the hassel involved in launching a network--a network that will make some people very unhappy for different reasons.
